Diane Francis: Pandering to the panda is why Trudeau’s China policy has failed

Diane Francis: Pandering to the panda is why Trudeau’s China policy has failed

Dominic Barton’s appointment as Canadian ambassador to China last year was inappropriate because he, and the firm he worked at for much of his life, McKinsey & Company, have been unabashed fanboys of the People’s Republic of China for years.

Pandering to the panda is why Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s foreign policy toward China has failed. Billions of dollars worth of contract breaches by China remain unaddressed, two innocent Canadian businessmen remain political hostages and the Chinese government’s rhetoric toward Canada has become toxic.

Holocaust Denier Remains on Northwestern Website After Author of Controversial Jill Biden Is A Joke Op-Ed Scrubbed

Northwestern University scrubbed its website of references to a former professor who penned a controversial op-ed against Jill Biden—but it continues to feature a professor who denies the Holocaust.

Joseph Epstein, a writer and former adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University, had argued in the Wall Street Journal that Jill Biden shouldn’t call herself a “Dr.” Following the op-ed, Northwestern issued a condemnation of Epstein and removed his profile from its website. Yet the school still has a page for Arthur Butz, a tenured engineering professor who calls the Holocaust a “hoax” and a “legend.”

That is down from the record 2,432 infections reported one day prior but it still represents the second highest number that we have ever seen in a single day.

The rolling seven-day average also continues to rise and now stands at 2,089, which is up 11.6 per cent from this time last week and nearly 19 per cent from two weeks ago.

‘Freedom only to speak inoffensively is not worth having.’ – UK Judge in landmark ruling favouring Gal over bizarre looking cross dresser who tried to force her to call him a woman

Weirdo

Judges have insisted that freedom of speech includes the ‘right to offend’ in a landmark ruling which could help to turn the tide on ‘woke’ intolerance.

Presiding over a case in the Court of Appeal, Lord Justice Bean and Mr Justice Warby said: ‘Freedom only to speak inoffensively is not worth having.’

They added that ‘free speech encompasses the right to offend, and indeed to abuse another’. The judgment from two senior members of the judiciary will set a precedent for future cases involving freedom of speech.

Asshole.

OTTAWA (Reuters) – Canada wants deeper environmental ties with the United States and one result could be a North American ban on the sale of new gasoline-powered passenger cars and trucks, a senior cabinet member said on Thursday.

Oblivious Biden

What kind of man must Joe Biden be to accept being illegitimately put into the Oval Office?

We’ve all seen the clips. Nearly every recent Joe Biden public appearance has been an embarrassment. The media called his garbled statements ‘gaffes,’ as if they were innocent, harmless mistakes, but many have suggested far worse age-related cognitive failures. We experienced embarrassment with him, and pitied a man clearly past his prime. What seemed most prominent about Joe Biden, other than his mental decline, was his obsession with one singular goal — to be president of the United States.

Maria Bartiromo drops the mother of all bombshells

On Tuesday, during her morning show, Maria Bartiromo dropped what must be, in this crazy year, the mother of all bombshells. According to Bartiromo, an intel source told her that Trump won the election. It’s now up to the Supreme Court, said the source, to stop the clock from running so the proper election result can be implemented, returning Trump to the White House.
