This idiot working for CBC @LizT1 writes a hilarious hit piece implying that PPC is an insurrectionist militia and that I’m planning to storm Parliament. Literally. #DefundCBC https://t.co/Iyb0MmBBU0

The future of CBC/Radio-Canada is at stake in this election

Canada’s national public broadcasting services are in a position of unprecedented vulnerability. In 2019-20, the CBC had advertising revenue of $253,754. Decades of cuts have affected the nature of much of the CBC’s television programming, making it less distinctive and pushing the CBC into increased competition with private broadcasters for commercial revenue.
Liberals promise additional $400M for CBC; protection of journalists

The Liberal Party of Canada is promising to oppose the mistreatment of journalists along with another $400-million for the CBC in their new platform, released this morning.
CBC says vaccine is a “personal decision” for employees to make

CBC News has extensively given coverage to pro-mandatory vaccination views. Articles with titles like “COVID-19 vaccine mandates are coming – whether Candians want them or not” and “Conservative opposition to mandatory vaccinations is ‘irresponsible’ and ‘dangerous,’ says Trudeau” are a common sight in the network’s regular coverage.
Additionally, as reported by True North, in their coverage of the federal vaccination mandate, CBC News ignored the fact that First Nations bands and services would be forced to get vaccines.

New TV Show Filmed In Toronto Will Be First Of Its Kind
Toronto is one of the world’s most diverse cities in many different ways, now that wonderful feature of Ontario’s capital is about to be shown to the world thanks to a brand new CBC and HBO Max Original Series.
Sort Of is a new series created by and starring Bilal Baig, the first queer (trans-feminine) South Asian and Muslim in Canada to be cast in the lead role of a primetime TV series.
Not that further proof was needed but the CBC hates you. This is their purpose – the creation of propaganda, its goal is to humiliate you.

CBC: Costing Canadians $1.2 billion — and for what?

The CBC is costing Canadians $1.2 billion and what are we getting for it? Mocha Bezirgan and Andrew Chapados share their thoughts on Canada’s state broadcaster and how it’s a drain on taxpayers.
As CBC ratings plummet, they ask for more taxpayer dollars

The CBC’s ad revenues continue to plummet. Why? Is it because tech giants like Google have hijacked the CBC’s ad space?
Not exactly. There’s no easy way to hijack ad windows on a TV broadcast.
Will Sinking Revenues Lead Justin Trudeau To Buy CBC Corporation?

Cultural Action Party are so often the bearer of bad news. Proclamations of doom and gloom infuse our media output when witnessing what we see as a systemic morphing of Canada into a covert dictatorship.
One theme out of many has been expressed ad nauseum– the relationship of our ruling Liberal government and mainstream media. As a synopsis, our view is that coordination between the two indicates replication of life within communist societies.
The most pertinent example is the nation of China. Through the will of government, media must espouse state-approved ideology. Punitive damages wait in the wings for those who breach these conditions.
In other words, the government own the media in China. Bringing us to our ruling government’s relationship with CBC Corporation. In 2016, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau provided the CBC with a cool $600 million of additional cash infusions. On an annual basis, our government deliver some $1.2 billion dollars to this hyper-leftist crown corporation.
CBC requests another bailout with ad sales down again

Another plunge in ad revenue. Another threat to chop services. Another plea for more taxpayer bailout money.
Blacklock’s Reporter says CBC advertising revenues fell again last year by 18% and the state broadcaster said it will require more federal grants to offset commercial losses.
“Advertising revenue from conventional TV will continue to be under pressure,” management wrote in a CBC Corporate Plan Summary 2021-2025.

Twitter Should Label CBC, BBC And Others As ‘State-Affiliated’

Leaving Western state-funded outlets unlabelled gives the wrong impression that they have no connection with their governments.
BONOKOSKI: The CBC always complaining but never thankful
A briefing note to Heritage Canada, the overlord of the CBC, says it has received upwards of 10,000 public complaints during the course of the year, the majority of which curse the public broadcaster’s left-wing bias in its news reporting.

Foreign Actors like CBC likely to interfere in elections say Cyber Snoops

Canadian voters are likely to face foreign cyber interference in the next election, say cyber spies
Canadian voters are likely to face some form of foreign cyber interference ahead and during the next federal election, warns Canada’s cyber spy agency, including false information about voter fraud.
However, that meddling is unlikely to match the scale and influence as seen in the U.S., says the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) in a new threat assessment report published Friday.
“We assess that an increasing number of threat actors have the cyber tools, the organizational capacity, and a sufficiently advanced understanding of Canada’s political landscape to direct cyber activity against future Canadian federal elections, should they have the strategic intent,” reads the report.
For Canada Day The CBC Presents A Moving Portrait Of An ISIS Supporter Whose Desire To Stay In Canada Is Being Thwarted By You Evil Racist Canucks!

CBC also spoke with residents of Christina Lake, B.C., where Hamdan currently lives, who expressed concerns about him being in their community. None wished to speak on the record but said they were afraid of him and felt Canadian laws had failed. (Oh the Islamophobia!)
Acquitted of terrorism but still considered a threat, this man’s status in Canada hangs in limbo
… In all, RCMP had tracked thousands of posts made by Hamdan — some that he had written, others that he had shared — and flagged 85 of them for celebrating ISIS’s success, praising lone wolf attacks and the Parliament Hill shooter, as well as identifying places in Canada with weak security.
He was denied bail and spent two years in jail awaiting trial.
This is the CBC, your terrorist friendly public broadcaster.
Peterborough police won’t ticket cast & crew of CBC show for handshakes, laughter
![]()
We recently returned to the lovely little city of Peterborough, Ont., where the local constabulary take a very dim view of any sort of merriment in this day and age of COVID-19. You might recall our previous trip to Peterborough in April. We were there to cover an anti-lockdown protest staged at Confederation Square.
Does Canada still need the CBC?

Those on the right are very quick to disparage the CBC and accuse it of political bias, while those on the left will always come to its defence and point to its alleged cultural importance. Who’s right? In this episode of Chicks and Balances, Sam breaks down the purpose of the CBC, it’s place in the greater Canadian media landscape, and instances of bias. Does Canada Still Need The CBC?
