The Diverging Cultural Paths of American and Canadian Militaries

U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth is unlikely to approve of the sight of a Canadian soldier’s authorized long hair and purple goatee.

Hegseth made it abundantly clear during a speech this week given in front of essentially all of the U.S. military’s top brass assembled in Quantico, Virginia that grooming standards in America’s military would be strict.

“No more beardos,” the former Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran told an auditorium packed with officers wearing dress uniforms with stacked decoration ribbons.

Conservatives target Liberal DEI hiring with new petition

Mark Carney introduces new Minister of Religion

The federal Conservatives are ramping up criticism of the Liberal government’s spending on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, launching a petition that calls for an end to what they describe as “billion-dollar bureaucracies” at a time when Canadians face record-high living costs.

The petition, circulated this week, argues that Ottawa has directed more than $1 billion into DEI-related programs and administrative structures that Conservatives say amount to wasteful spending. The document claims the Liberal government has spent $1.049 billion on DEI bureaucracy “while Canadians struggle to make ends meet.”

How the ‘hate speech’ conceit fuels political violence

Charlie Kirk was killed by a left that feels entitled to silence its enemies, by any means necessary.

American conservatives have experienced a range of emotions in recent years, starting with amazement – amazement at the hypocrisy of the left. How many times have we heard that US president Donald Trump’s attempts to reform universities threaten academic freedom? Many of the people making this accusation have run professors out of town for dissenting from campus orthodoxies, whether regarding ‘systemic racism’ or climate change. These new-found free-speech crusaders have required faculty to sign loyalty oaths to the cult of diversity. At best, Trump’s accusers stood by silently while such shunning and conformity enforcement occurred.

White House Alarm Over Britain’s China Spy Scandal — A Mirror of Trudeau’s Five Eyes Rift

The LPC was a compromised by foreign influence under Trudeau. Carney continues that tradition.

LONDON — As new details surface from MI5’s counter-intelligence probe into two men accused of gathering information on Conservative China-sceptic MPs, The Sunday Times reports that the White House has privately warned Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government that Britain’s failure to prosecute the alleged Chinese spies could jeopardize U.S.–UK intelligence sharing within the Five Eyes alliance. U.S. officials told the paper that the abrupt collapse of the high-profile espionage case — involving parliamentary researcher Chris Cash and China-based academic Christopher Berry, who was reportedly intercepted returning to Britain with encrypted communications apps used exclusively by Chinese intelligence operatives — has shaken Washington’s confidence in London’s reliability on counter-espionage cooperation.

Role Of Church Elites In Europe’s Suicide

Abandoned church in Europe

I wrote something on Friday here about Pope Leo’s recent exhortation to love the poor, as Christians should, but complaining, and complaining bitterly, about the part of the document in which he said Christians have a moral duty to open the door wide to migrants. I didn’t send that to the entire list of subscribers, just the paid ones (there are seven times more unpaid subscribers than paid ones), but enough of those who saw the piece put it, or parts of it, on Facebook that I’ve gained over 100 new subscribers in the past 48 hours. That has never happened. So I’m going to post it again to the entire list today, below. There’s clearly demand for it.

Canada doesn’t like immigration anymore. This is a problem

Support for immigration in Canada has cratered. Ottawa started polling Canadians in 1996 on their views on immigration. According to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, last year was the first time that a majority of Canadians believed there were too many immigrants. A more recent Nanos poll finds that 71 per cent now favour reducing their number. If the government cannot win back support for one of Canada’s flagship policies, our long-term economic growth and geopolitical influence are at risk.

Let me begin by acknowledging that record levels of immigration after the pandemic did exacerbate an already-serious housing crisis and that Canadians are justifiably concerned about taking care of who is already here when poverty rates and the number of homeless have risen. Immigration policy was mismanaged post-pandemic, and Canadians were right to be concerned.

Not were right to be concerned bur were right to rebel at the elite’s heinous replacement immigration scam.

This is just more G&M apologist prattle justifying Corporate Canada importing slaves to lower wages and profit from the shortages.

There is no such thing as a labour shortage only a wage gap between what is on offer and what citizens will accept.

Mass immigration is class war.

First-cousin marriage linked to terrorist financing, money laundering and people trafficking, experts warn

The storm over first-cousin marriage deepened last night after experts linked it to terrorist financing, money laundering and people trafficking.

Tories called for the marriages to be banned after The Mail on Sunday revealed last month that NHS guidance promotes their ‘benefits’ despite an associated increase in birth defects.

The marriages are also connected to unregulated, untraceable ‘hawala’ financing – a way of transferring money worldwide that depends on family ties and doesn’t leave a paper trace.

Plainclothes Policeman Almost Lynched in Paris

On Saturday, October 11th, the rap group L2B organized a free concert at the Les Halles cultural hotspot in Paris. While the first part of the musical performance took place without incidents, the police asked the musicians to cancel the second part, “given the large crowd and to avoid any overflow,” Le Journal de Dimanche reported. While the capacity of the venue was limited to 800 people, only 45 minutes after the doors opened nearly 2,000 people were counted.

Tweet Translation – “An undercover police officer is lynched on the ground during the dispersal of spectators who came to the Halles de Paris for the free concert by L2B, which was ultimately canceled.”

GIESBRECHT: No digging necessary at Kamloops Residential School

Another National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR) has come and gone. This is the fifth since the shocking Kamloops claim was made on May 27, 2021. The orange shirts worn by those who believe in the truth of the claim pay tribute to the 215 indigenous students at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School (KIRS) they believe died under sinister circumstances, and were buried by priests to hide their crime with the forced help of children — as young as six. That’s the Kamloops claim.

Florida Woman Disarms Hostage-Holding Suspect Thanks to Gun of Her Own

It never fails to amaze me how many defensive gun uses never capture the attention of national media, no matter how compelling the circumstances might be. Take this recent incident out of Florida that I stumbled across, for example. An armed felon drags a woman at gunpoint into a grocery store, only to be confronted and ultimately disarmed by an employee who had a gun of her own.
