Documentary: The ‘anti-Semitic rot’ at the heart of the NHS

A nurse was given a Nazi salute by an NHS colleague after he discovered that she was Jewish, an investigation has revealed.

The incident is one example of a catalogue of anti-Semitic abuse allegedly suffered by Jewish patients and workers in the health service.

The Campaign Against Antisemitism said its investigation, detailed in a new documentary, exposed “the anti-Semitic rot at the heart of our NHS”.

Boycotting Jewish Businesses Will Not Create Peace

Boycotting Jewish Businesses Will Not Create Peace

The foreign ministers of 12 Western countries have apparently decided that the best way to promote peace between Israelis and Palestinians is to punish businesses operating in Jewish communities in the West Bank.

One can only wonder what planet these ministers are living on.

On September 8, Canada, France, Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Ireland, and the United Kingdom issued a joint statement declaring that they intend to introduce, or support, restrictions on trade in goods produced in Jewish settlements.

U.K. to bar import of goods from West Bank settlements in growing rift with Israel … and Canada follows

U.K. to bar import of goods from West Bank settlements in growing rift with Israel … and Canada follows

LONDON — Britain will ban the import of goods made in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, according to a person familiar with the policy deliberations, and possibly impose sanctions on companies involved in an accelerating building boom in the communities, which are considered illegal by much of the international community.

The moves, expected to be announced Tuesday by Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, mark the starkest break yet from the U.K.’s traditional role as a staunch supporter of Israel and show how Israel’s actions in the West Bank and its war in Gaza are straining long-standing alliances.

Trump’s ambassador to Israel accuses Ed Miliband of ‘Jew hate’ over Gaza

The US ambassador to Israel has accused the Labour government of “Jew hate” after Ed Miliband said vital medicines on their way to Gaza were being blocked.

The outburst came after the foreign secretary posted a video in which he described what he had been told by people working inside the enclave.

“Frankly, it was horrific, what is unfolding,” Mr Miliband said. “The stories that people were telling me of medicines being blocked [and] children dying while waiting for vital life-saving treatment.”

Avi Benlolo: CBC’s editorial choices around Islamic terror need to be investigated

Did CBC attempt to distort the memory of 9/11? Should the incident be overlooked or brushed aside? Canada’s leading publicly funded news agency owes us an explanation for first, issuing a directive to its journalists: “do not refer to the Sept 11 attacks as terrorist attacks.” Then, after intense criticism, CBC dropped its requirement of “attribution” when describing 9/11 as terrorism.

CBC is not a public broadcaster it is a propaganda outlet for the LPC.

Soon it will resemble Der Stürmer but with a cooking segment.

Olivia Chow opts out of antisemitism debate says – she’s doing her share

Olivia Chow won’t attend a Toronto mayoral debate next week about antisemitism and other public safety concerns, her team has confirmed.

The decision could serve as fodder for critics who have accused the incumbent mayor of not taking anti-Jewish hate seriously, and marks the latest challenge Chow has faced in navigating local concerns about antisemitism in the wake the Israel-Gaza war. Chow has rejected accusations she hasn’t done enough to combat intolerance, and her campaign said Thursday she would continue to work with the Jewish community to fight antisemitism.

ROBSON: Toronto’s October 7 conference exposes Canada’s counterterrorism failure

Toronto is scheduled to host a conference this November built around the glorification of the Hamas-led October 7 terrorist massacre, in which nearly 1,200 people were murdered, and more than 200 were taken hostage.

Masar Badil, the organizer, calls the attack “one of the most courageous acts of resistance in our lifetimes” and a “glorious feat.” Its own conference announcement says “armed resistance” is the means by which Israel should be confronted and invites an “assembly of militants” for “relationship-building” and political organization.

Hollywood’s paranoid hatred of Israel

Hollywood’s paranoid hatred of Israel

To see how paranoid, how unhinged, how downright scary the left’s loathing for Israel has become, look no further than the green-ink missive signed by 180 showbiz folk this week.

It is ostensibly a defence of Mark Ruffalo, Hollywood’s shrillest hater of Israel, who’s been facing accusations of anti-Semitism. But it reads more like the ravings of a mental patient. It’s like something vomited up by the murkiest Subreddit. With its demented, infantile blather about the hidden links between Gaza, oligarchic power and our ‘Orwellian’ overlords who are watching our every move, it is the clearest proof yet that the anti-Israel crusade has curdled into a vicious bigotry with eerie echoes of ancient hatreds.
