How Greg Gutfeld conquered American late-night comedy

Viewers are tired of Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon’s liberal clichés

For now, Fox News Channel host Greg Gutfeld stands alone as the undisputed king of American late-night television. His show Gutfeld! lapped the field last week, outdrawing nearest competitor Stephen Colbert by 2.355 million viewers to 2.143 — and nearly doubling the numbers posted by NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (1.318 million viewers) and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! (1.084 million viewers). Not only that, but Gutfeld! also led all three competitors in the coveted “adults aged 25-54” demographic. In the midst a late-night landscape littered with lame Donald Trump jokes and garish vaccine pandering, how on earth is Gutfeld — marooned as he is on a partisan cable news network — outdrawing the highly-paid clowns on the major networks?

Forget Free Speech: Rushdie’s Fatwa Is Winning

“Salman Rushdie is a champion of free speech, bravely standing up for Western ideals when so many shy away from the fight. If only more people could follow his example, instead of taking the path of appeasement in the name of cultural sensitivity, the long years of murder and mayhem wrought by the Islamists on the West might come to an end… I know all too well the threat Islamism poses. After I came out as an apostate, I was forced into a bubble of protection that still surrounds me to this day. I have 24-hour security. I still receive death threats. My friend, the sweet, vulgar, brilliant Theo Van Gogh was murdered simply for making a film with me. His attacker used a knife to stab a letter into Theo’s chest: it said that I would be next”.

That is how Ayaan Hirsi Ali reacted to the attempted murder of Salman Rushdie in Chautauqua, New York.

Ukraine’s Crimea fightback and how saboteurs are exploiting enemy blunders

Careless Russian soldiers are dumping powerful weaponry at makeshift sites on the peninsula – and Kyiv is taking advantage

The pig farm across the railway tracks from Svetlana’s home had been abandoned for years.

Nobody paid much attention to the decrepit, dusty building until Russian lorries began rolling through her Crimean village in June.

The window blinds on their cabins were drawn, so none of the locals in Azovske could peer too closely inside.

But Svetlana was not the only person to notice that soldiers had begun dumping crates of ammunition on the grounds of the farm.

Father who spied on al-Qaida accuses Edinburgh school of discrimination

One of the UK’s leading private schools is under investigation after being accused of discrimination against the daughter of one of the west’s most important spies, a former al-Qaida bomb-maker credited with saving thousands of lives.

Aimen Dean, who spied for British intelligence inside the terrorist network for eight years, has made a formal complaint against St George’s School in Edinburgh, claiming it singled out his five-year-old daughter because other parents feared he was a security risk.

Dad went public with his undercover work. I can understand the concern of other parents.

NASA Will Now Go ‘Full Force’ Investigating UFOs, Agency Says

NASA reaffirmed a full-throated commitment to studying unidentified flying objects (UFOs) during a town hall meeting held by the agency’s Science Mission Directorate (SMD) on Wednesday.

The meeting followed up on the recent announcement of a NASA-funded study to examine observations in the sky that cannot be explained by any known human or natural phenomena. These sightings, also known as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), have generated immense public interest, and they also raise air safety and national security concerns, prompting NASA to delve deeper into the topic.

Woke Virginia school district kept pedophile school counselor on staff a year after notification he’d been arrested for soliciting child prostitute

A Virginia school district that has made headlines for woke policies and clashes over teaching critical race theory waited a year to fire a counselor after they found out he’d been arrested for soliciting an underage prostitute.

Darren Lamar Thornton, 50, remained employed by Glasgow Middle School in Lincolnia, Virginia, even after he’d been convicted of a sex crime and a year after they’d been notified of his arrest, according to WUSA9.

Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Michelle C. Reid confirmed he’d been terminated and FCPS was petitioning the state to revoke Thornton’s license.

The day Sweden will be Islamic – Now Sweden fears being replaced by immigration.

Like a drunkard in the morning, Sweden wakes up to the sad reality.

Swedish Prime Minister (1946-69) Tage Erlander in 1967 declared in response to the racial riots in the slums of Los Angeles that “we Swedes live in such an infinitely happier situation. The population in our country is homogeneous, not only in terms of race, but also in many other aspects ”.

In 1975 the country introduced multiculturalism with Social Democratic Prime Minister Olof Palme rejecting assimilation in favor of policies that encouraged minorities to maintain separate identities. It was part of the famous “freedom” of the Swedes, free to do and undo everything, from the family to the nation.

Ukraine calls on Canada to shelve turbine exemption as German chancellor to visit

OTTAWA – As German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is set to arrive in Canada on Sunday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing renewed calls from Ukraine to cancel a permit allowing turbines repaired in Montreal to be sent back to a Russian energy giant.

Scholz, who took over from Angela Merkel in December last year, is expected to land in Montreal on Sunday evening for a three-day visit that also includes scheduled stops in Toronto and Stephenville, N.L.

I suspect Ukraine knows not to trust either of these two green-scammers.

GOLDSTEIN: How hatred of Israel promotes antisemitism in Canada

Laith Marouf – trusted advisor to Justin Trudeau

In 2021, Jews both in Toronto and across Canada were the most targeted religious group for reported hate crimes.

Jews have good reason to fear racists when it comes to antisemitism, but anti-racists often provide the political cover for such hateful views.

When white supremacists march and chant “the Jews will not replace us” it’s obvious what they mean.

But it’s not substantially different from what an anti-racism expert hired by the federal Heritage Department as a senior consultant for a $133,000 anti-racism project, tweeted prior to being hired.

I believe he was hired because of those views. Our public service unions, universities, and political parties have all been infiltrated. Given the slack cut Mohammedans it’s no surprise. “Islamophobia” is great cover.

Toxic immigration policy combined with the toxins of multiculturalism and diversity have poisoned the Kumbaya Kool-Aid.

Lockdown fanatics can’t escape blame for this scandal

Those who warned about the inevitable increase in non-Covid deaths were denounced as selfish murderers

Some time ago, I received a heartbreaking email from a lady called Lisa King, detailing how Peter, her beloved husband of 21 years, had become a tragic casualty of Covid.

The father of two, 62, did not catch coronavirus. He died on October 9, 2020 because he was repeatedly denied a face-to-face GP appointment during the pandemic – only to be told that an urgent operation to remove his gallbladder had been delayed because of spiralling NHS waiting lists.

His sudden death, in agonising pain, was completely avoidable.

As Mrs King told me at the time: “To the decision makers, he is nothing more than ‘collateral damage’, but to me, he is the love of my life.”

TUPOC demands apologies, asserts its right to be at former St. Brigid’s church

The United People of Canada tried once again to explain its presence in St. Brigid’s church in a rambling Saturday afternoon media conference live-streamed on Facebook and continually disrupted by hecklers.

Speaking to a gathering of about 30 people in the deconsecrated Catholic church, TUPOC’s Diane Nolan asserted that an eviction notice served this past week was invalid, and she said the group deserved an apology for how it had been characterized.

The Nut Who Likened the Rosary to an AR-15 Finds ‘Hate’ for a Living – funded by the Trudeau Government

It would have been charitable to think that The Atlantic’s appalling recent piece likening the rosary, the popular Catholic devotional, to an AR-15 rifle and painting a dark picture of armed, rosary-praying Catholics ready to unleash papal mayhem on the peaceful citizenry was the product of a writer with no ideas and a looming deadline. As it turns out, however, the author of the piece, Daniel Panneton, wasn’t just throwing something at the wall and hoping it would stick long enough for him to collect a paycheck. On the contrary, he does this sort of thing for a living.

Mia Cathell over at Townhall revealed Tuesday that when he isn’t cowering in fear over praying Catholics, Panneton is Manager of the Online Hate Research & Education Project, which is, notes Cathell, “an 18-month venture funded by a generous $340,000 grant from the Canadian government’s Anti-Racism Action Program.” When you’ve got that kind of government funding, you’ve got to come up with the goods. Can’t find enough actual hate? Well, any old thing will do. Even rosaries.

Success Of Right Wing Podcasts An Annoyance To Globe Reporter & Friends

How podcasts have become misinformation machines — and what can be done about it

“… That’s part of the appeal of podcasts for listeners who feel disenfranchised from mainstream news and media.

“There has been a clamouring in recent years for a totally independent and isolated and bubble-wrapped media ecosystem on the right — and they’ve created it,” Ling said.

“They’ve created it thanks to a ton of money from some investors and ideologues, but also because there’s been just an outpouring of enthusiasm.”

Not satisfied that the Left dominates Canada’s government paid media Rachel and friends denounce the success of scary right wing podcasts. Seriously. It’s the same old MSM propaganda tactics at work, create a “scare” to advance an agenda and demonize dissent.

“Journalist” Rachel Gilmore travels in the usual circles.

One of the “experts” cited is Ahmed Al-Rawi,  he is the typical sort of left wing ideologue  employed at our universities who refers to “hookers” as front line pandemic workers. Loves him his Palestine too, very pleased to remind us that so does Salman Rushdie.
