ST. PAUL, Minn.—A Pakistani doctor and former Mayo Clinic research coordinator pleaded guilty to a terrorism charge, more than two years after he was arrested for telling paid FBI informants that he pledged his allegiance to the ISIS terrorist group and that he wanted to carry out lone wolf attacks in the United States.

Parent Sues School Over Transgender Brainwashing

Proselytizing California groomers are running wild.
California parent Jessica Konen is suing her local school district for secretly indoctrinating her 6th grade daughter into the cult of transgenderism, convincing her to change her gender identity, all while urging her not to discuss the situation with her mother because she could not be “trusted.”
The Israel-PIJ Mini War Was All About Hamas

The brief but intense sprint of violence between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) that took place across the Gaza-Israel border earlier this month is interesting because of what did not happen during that mini-war. On the surface, the confrontation was simply the latest eruption of violence between Israel and a Palestinian terror group committed to the Jewish state’s destruction. But what appeared as a bilateral escalation had an important regional context: the PIJ was established in 1981 by Iran’s intelligence apparatus. The latter’s support of the PIJ is part of Iran’s continuous efforts to expand its influence in the Middle East at large: in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen
Today in History: Islam Swallows Up the Western World After the Battle of Yarmuk

Today in history, on Aug. 20, 636, arguably the single most consequential battle between Islam and the West took place — that of Yarmuk. Occurring just four years after the Muslim prophet Muhammad had died, not only did the military engagement decide whether the Arabian creed thrives or dies; it became a chief source of inspiration and instruction for jihadis throughout the centuries, right down to the Islamic State. And yet very few in the West are even aware of the Battle of Yarmuk’s existence — much less how it motivates contemporary Islamic terrorists.
Killing the FBI?

We grew up watching Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. and The FBI on TV.
I understand that it was a TV show, but where is Efrem when we really need him? I remember walking around Washington, D.C. on the day J. Edgar Hoover died in 1972.
He wasn’t perfect, but I had positive thoughts about the FBI when I got the news of his passing.
Russia blames Kyiv for killing daughter of ‘Putin’s Rasputin’, but the truth may be closer to home

Car bomb attack in Moscow most likely to be a false flag attack to whip up public support and escalate war against Ukraine
Investigators had barely started picking through the crime scene when Kremlin-linked officials began blaming Ukraine for the audacious car bomb attack that killed Daria Dugina.
But Kyiv, which denied any link to the murder, may have more pressing military concerns than conducting a complex hit on the daughter of a Vladimir Putin whisperer.
Although pro-Ukraine partisan attacks have increased in occupied Kherson and Crimea in recent weeks, Moscow appears to be a big stretch for its military and intelligence capabilities.

Poilievre crowd cheers Conservative candidate’s broadsides against Liberal government

Pierre Poilievre brought his federal Conservative leadership campaign to Dartmouth to criticize the Liberal government’s carbon tax plan, defend free speech and deride Canada’s prime minister.
Hundreds of supporters gave the Ottawa-area MP a standing ovation as he entered a crowded hotel conference room Saturday and warmly received his broadsides against the Liberal government’s policies.
China Is Preparing To Go To War

China expert Gordon Chang makes the case that China is preparing for armed conflict – and could happen quite soon.
Last month, a Chinese entrepreneur making medical equipment for consumers told me that local officials had demanded he convert his production lines in China so that they could turn out items for the military. Communist Party cadres, he said, were issuing similar orders to other manufacturers.
Moreover, Chinese academics privately say the ongoing expulsion of foreign colleagues from China’s universities appears to be a preparation for hostilities.
What Russians See in the News: A War Over Western Plans to Subjugate Them

“Vesti Nedeli,” the flagship weekly roundup of Kremlin-controlled television news, recently portrayed a long history of predatory Western powers coming to grief when they invaded Russia: Sweden in the 18th century, France in the 19th, Germany in the 20th.
Enemies now seek to reverse those losses, said Dmitry Kiselyov, the show’s host, blaming the West for the war that Russia instigated in Ukraine. The goal to finish off Russia is “centuries old and unchanging,” he said. “Here we are on the defensive.”
The dangerous narcissism of the trans lobby
Travis Alabanza’s new book shows how male self-pity is weaponised against women’s rights.
Remember when oppression meant the government brutally denying you the rights and freedoms enjoyed by everyone else? Now it means blokes agonising over whether or not to paint their nails.

Seriously. In his new book None of the Above: Reflections on Life Beyond the Binary, nonbinary writer Travis Alabanza cites this dilemma as proof of the ‘oppression [of] the gender binary’. He introduces us to Steve, a man who had ‘wanted to paint his nails for years’. But he didn’t because, like the rest of us cis squares, he’d been conditioned into ‘upholding the gender binary’ which says men don’t do that. One day, though, after seeing one of Alabanza’s theatre shows, Steve plucks up the courage to paint his nails neon yellow. Alabanza is moved by this brave strike against the forces of oppression. ‘My urge was to hug him’, he writes. Free at last! Thank God Almighty, free at last!
‘I was sacked for suggesting that drag acts were a gross caricature of femininity’
Music academy lecturer who lost her job in latest transgender controversy is taking legal action
A lecturer at a prominent music academy says she has been forced out of her job after she suggested drag acts could be viewed as sexist.
Cathy Boardman, a lecturer in cultural studies, had asked her class to reflect on ‘womanface’ – a critical term for female impersonation – and whether or not it was demeaning.
Salman Rushdie and the racism of shielding Muslims from offence

Those who want to treat Islam differently to all other faiths see Muslims as lesser citizens.
First the horror, then the silence. It’s been a week since Salman Rushdie was stabbed on stage in New York, the 33-year-old fatwa finally catching up with him, and the mood is strangely muted. There have been some powerful defences of free speech in the media and statements of solidarity with Rushdie, who is still in a hospital bed nursing life-changing injuries. But in general our political and cultural elites have managed only limp, anodyne or oddly delayed interventions – in Labour leader Keir Starmer’s case it took him a full day to say anything about the attempted murder of a fellow knight of the realm. Meanwhile, the culture warriors – those wont to downplay the threat of Islamist extremism and dismiss free speech as a racists’ charter – are keeping remarkably schtum.

Do diversity targets matter more than defence?

Even the RAF is in thrall to the cult of diversity.
A little while ago, I rewatched the 1969 film Battle of Britain. The shots of aerial combat have held up remarkably well. The casting not so much. Sure, Laurence Olivier, Michael Caine and Christopher Plummer have name recognition. You might even argue that they have some merit as actors. But they are woefully lacking in diversity. And as today’s Royal Air Force (RAF) is apparently keen to make known, this is now the key metric by which Britain’s defensive forces should be judged.
Over 1000 Scientists and Professionals Sign Formal Declaration: “There is No Climate Emergency”

“There is no cause for panic and alarm. We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy proposed for 2050.
“… The political fiction that humans cause most or all climate change and the claim that the science behind this notion is ‘settled’, has been dealt a savage blow by the publication of a ‘World Climate Declaration (WCD)’ signed by over 1,100 scientists and professionals. There is no climate emergency, say the authors, who are drawn from across the world and led by the Norwegian physics Nobel Prize laureate Professor Ivar Giaever. Climate science is said to have degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science.”
