The student who accused history teacher Samuel Paty of Islamophobia, which began a hate campaign that lead to his brutal public beheading in October, has admitted to making up her story.

A Pakistani migrant charged with breaking into a French asylum centre with a knife to get at a 14-year-old girl demanded in court that the judge give her to him.
The 36-year-old Pakistani broke into an asylum reception home in the department of Ariège, where the girl was living with her family. He allegedly wanted to check and make sure the 14-year-old had not found another man.

Security guards noticed the man visibly brandishing the weapon outside the Yavne school in Marseille and then trying to enter a kosher market where he was detained.
PARIS – A group of French women who joined the so-called Islamic State militant group and are currently detained in Syria continue a hunger strike as the French government denies their requests to be repatriated to France, along with their children.
At least 12 French women who had joined the so-called Islamic State in Syria launched a hunger strike last week to protest what their organizers describe as “the stubborn refusal of the French authorities to organize their repatriation.”

A poll has revealed 69 per cent of French, nearly 7 in 10, say that there is a problem with an ideology of “Islamo-Leftism” in the country.
The Odoxa-Backbone consulting poll found that a comfortable majority of respondents believed there was a problem with leftist groups, political parties, and personalities refusing to take hard positions against radical Islamic extremism for fear of “stigmatising” Muslims as a whole.
The Daily Caller’s Lisa Bennatan went to Paris, France, and asked Parisians whether they are grateful for the United States’ help during World War II.

A Belgium court on Wednesday referred 14 people suspected of aiding and abetting extremists behind the 2015 Paris terror attacks to the criminal court, media reported.
According to the broadcaster RTBF, Brussels’ council chamber, the first level of general jurisdiction, referred 14 suspects out of the 20 initially indicted in the so-called Paris bis case after a probe into the logistical assistance to the terrorists who carried out attacks in Paris in November 2015. Cases against five others were dismissed, and one defendant is to be tried separately for a different case, the media outlet added.
My fear for France is grounded in its lack of courage to fight for its civilization and the right of its people to speak their minds.
I am worried about France, because it is the cradle of European culture.
I love its writers and ideas, Henry James in his 1903 masterpiece “The Ambassadors” speaks of Paris as the epitome of civilization, it is the country that has given so much and to which we owe so much as Europeans, the country that gives us the only intellectuals in Europe to reflect on our world.
But it is the country that no longer knows how to defend that culture.

We are a few kilometers from the Palace of Versailles, but an abyss separates the famed residence of the kings from Trappes, where Louis XIV built the ponds as water reservoirs for the castle park.
In the spotlight ever since a philosophy teacher who paid homage to Samuel Paty must now live under police protection, the French city of Trappes is a laboratory for understanding how thirty years of multicultural ideology in the suburbs does not lead to cultural enrichment, but to the death of Western culture. The weekly Valeurs Actuelles gives us a glimpse of life in Trappes.
“Trappes is known for providing a large contingent of jihadists to the Islamic State. Trappes has 32,000 inhabitants, 70% of them Muslims, 40-50 different nationalities. Most often born here, the residents wear hijab, qami, sarouel, traditional Middle Eastern clothing.

GAVIN MORTIMER, a journalist who covers France for the Spectator, has written recently concerning the attack in Paris on fourteen-year-old Yuriy, a white boy. The brutality of Yuriy’s beating by ten youths (knocking the boy’s eyes out of their sockets apparently) caused mounting consternation, especially after a video appeared of the boy being attacked, beaten to a pulp and left for dead in a square in the 15th arrondissement, one of the so-called beaux quartiers of Paris, and exactly where you wouldn’t expect such an attack to take place, especially after the 6pm national curfew. Apparently, criminality thrives while the rest of us race to the supermarket at 5.15 so that we can make it home by 6.
The story of Yuriy, who remains in hospital, revived references to the ‘ensauvagement’ of France, rejected by the usual suspects, who worry about unfairly scapegoating poor people and minorities.

The manager of a refugee center in the French city of Pau has died of his injuries, after allegedly being stabbed multiple times by a Sudanese asylum seeker, police said on Friday.
The suspect, a 38-year-old man from Sudan, was arrested following the attack. He was reportedly known to the authorities for acts of violence and has already been in prison, according to French media.
The knife attack took place at around 11am local time in Pau, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The suspect’s motives for the attack remain unknown, although police sources told local media he had just been refused refugee status by OFPRA, the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons. The public broadcaster France Télévisions reported that the man had been in France since 2015.
Note Google Translate: A man arrived back at a car park located at avenue Raymond Dugrand towards Port-Marianne, in Montpellier (Hérault). He came to pick up his car parked at this location. He owns a recent model: an Audi A5. It was there that the owner of the vehicle discovered a man of African descent. He was sitting in the driver’s seat and reportedly refused to get out of the car. “ I will not go out, it is Allah who gave me this car. Come on, give me the keys, ”the individual repeated several times.
Thankfully this is not yet legal in France!

The bill is part of broader French efforts to fight extremism in recent years that gained new urgency after a teacher was beheaded in October and other attacks. President Emmanuel Macron says the efforts are also needed to protect French values like gender equality and secularism from encroaching fundamentalism in some communities.

PARIS — More than three dozen French police officers descended on a small private school in Paris, blocked the 92 students inside their classrooms, took photos everywhere even inside the refrigerator, and grilled the school director.
“It was like they were moving in on a drug deal,” Hanane Loukili, the director and co-founder of the MHS middle and high school said, recalling the Nov. 17 scene.
Loukili didn’t know it then, but a team from the Cell to Fight Radical Islam and Community Withdrawal, or CLIR, had arrived for an inspection. The dragnet sweeps schools, shops, clubs or mosques to rout out “radicalization.” Within a week, a shaken Loukili informed students their school was shutting down.
