Our Christophobic Ruling Caste

Why Christianity is a threat to our technocratic elites.

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley last week persistently questioned Attorney General Merrick Garland about the FBI’s over-reaction last September in its heavily armed arrest of pro-life Catholic Mark Houck at his home––for an alleged assault that local law enforcement had already declined to prosecute. Houck was tried, and a jury acquitted him in just an hour.

While We Celebrated Christmas, Hundreds Of Indian Christians Were Assaulted By Hindu Mobs

In the liturgical calendar, Christmas Day is immediately followed by the feast of St. Stephen, the very first martyr of the church. Two days after that is the feast of the Holy Innocents, honoring those children under the age of 2 who were murdered by the brutal tyrant Herod. As many wiser than I have observed, our celebration of the birth of the Christ Child is marred by man’s sinful desire to stamp him out, as well as those associated with him.

How political was Jesus? His historical life has never been transparent

Blaise Pascal is right to have jotted in one of his baroque notebooks that Jesus lived “in such obscurity… that historians writing of important matters of state hardly noticed him”. And Erich Auerbach is right to have stressed in a book he wrote in Istanbul, exiled from Hitler’s Reich, that Jesus’s death was “a provincial incident”. This is what makes it so remarkable that the life and death of an impoverished Galilean rabbi are described in a number of non-Christian texts from the first centuries of our era.

Christianity is set to become a MINORITY faith as soon as 2060 as millions embrace secularism, study shows

America’s majority faith has an uncertain future — the share of Christians is set to fall to as low as 35 percent by 2070 as millions become agnostic, atheist or unaffiliated, a study of religious trends shows.

Pew Research Center says the number of U.S. adults identifying as Christian has dropped from 90 percent in the 1990s to 64 percent now, and will likely trend downwards into a minority faith over the coming decades.

The decline is due to Christians switching to ‘nones’ — a secular mishmash of atheists, agnostics and those with no religious identity — which is set to grow from about 30 percent nowadays to as much as 52 percent by 2070.

The Overton window for Christian beliefs is narrowing

In Finland, two people were tried simply for quoting the Bible

In 17th Century Europe, you’d have swung for blaspheming against the dominant church of the day. In 2022, you can now be criminalised for professing the scripture of that same faith.

A Bishop and a parliamentarian have been tried for ‘hate speech’ in Finland, in this case for merely quoting and affirming biblical views. In 2019 MP Päivi Räsänen, grandmother of seven, had sent a tweet, accompanied by a Bible verse, criticising her church for co-sponsoring the Helsinki Pride parade.

Jailed Canadian Pastor Alleges Double Standard For Muslims Regarding Lockdown Enforcement

A Polish-Canadian pastor who was arrested and jailed for holding church services in defiance of Alberta’s Public Health Act alleged that provincial health officials and law enforcement apply a different standard to Muslims who violate lockdown orders.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski, who made international headlines when he was arrested in the middle of a busy highway on his way home from church, told The Christian Post (CP) that authorities pick on Christians because they know they will not fight back.
