‘Christians Feel Abandoned’: Senators Demand Action in France

Eighty-six French senators have published a collective op-ed in the conservative press outlet Boulevard Voltaire calling for increased public vigilance to ensure the protection of French Christians, who are now despised and largely ignored.

In the first five months of 2025 alone, 322 anti-Christian acts were recorded—an increase of 13% over the same period last year.

Poilievre claims Christians ‘may be the number 1’ victims of hate-based violence

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said Monday that Christians and their places of worship are being targeted and, if elected, he will crack down on religion-based hate through tougher sanctions for crimes like arson.

Speaking to reporters at an announcement on food inflation, Poilievre said he has watched with alarm at the “terrible” spate of church burnings, incidents he described as “terrorist attacks” directed at Christians.

They certainly are world wide thanks primarily to Muslims. And I have seen in the press that Church desecrations are treated as mere vandalism by local authorities.

The rising fear of American Christians

Why are churches arming themselves?

Church bulletins don’t usually set passions aflame, but last month, an ad in the newsletter of The Ascension Catholic Church in Chesterfield, Missouri, did just that. Placed by parishioner John Ray, the ad called to recruit “all young men back to the church to form a militia” at the Legion of Sancta Lana. Those taking up the offer would be tasked with “protecting the Holy Eucharist, our congregation, our clergy and the church grounds from violent and non-violent attacks”.

(From a year ago and oddly prophetic though the author didn’t want to be)

America Takes a Stand for the Rights of Western Christians

The U.S. State Department has once again sent the United Kingdom a clear warning: the ongoing persecution and prosecution of praying pro-lifers will not be tolerated. Their annual “United Kingdom 2024 Human Rights Report” opens with an ominous conclusion: “The human rights situation worsened in the United Kingdom during the year.”

The report noted “specific areas of concern, including … ‘Safe Access Zones’ (limiting speech rights around abortion clinics). These restrictions on freedom of speech could include prohibitions on efforts to influence others when inside a restricted area, even through prayer or silent protests.” The stark rise in antisemitism is also cited.

32 Christians are killed per day, but the West sees only Gaza

Once upon a time, Africa was always on the front pages of European newspapers.

Today, Africa has vanished. Erased by Gaza’s Ministry of Truth.

A new report from the International Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law, Intersociety, reveals that 7,087 Christians were massacred in Nigeria in the first 220 days of 2025, with an average of 32 Christians killed per day. By year’s end, they will number more than ten thousand.

Let’s repeat it: 32 Christians killed every day because they are Christians.

Child Abuse: Christians singled out as “Oppressors” by TDSB Human Rights Dept.

‘No more TikTok teaching’: Jewish advocacy group calls for Ontario classrooms to be free of identity politics

A Jewish advocacy group released a report on Monday with recommendations to depoliticize Ontario classrooms. It called on the ministry of education to build a curriculum based on achievement, rather than identity.

… The same policies that have made Jewish students feel unsafe have also created inhospitable environments for Hindu, Christian and Asian students, she said, adding that the human rights department at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) trains staff on “who qualifies as an oppressor,” singling out Christians.

Here is the JEFA web site and full report.

In pdf format – End the Crisis in Education final

I hope parents sue the TDSB for child abuse.

But I have to ask why Christian churches have never raised this issue.

This blog spent a lot of energy covering TDSB antics and was the 1st to reveal the anti-white racism embedded in  TDSB teaching.

EU Report Ignores Muslim Violence to Label Catholics ‘Religious Extremists’

According to new report, opposition to abortion is more ‘extreme’ than rape.

AEuropean abortion lobby is warning against “religious extremism” on the rise across the continent, singling out Catholicism and ignoring the threat posed to Europe by Islam. The 158-page report “The Next Wave: How Religious Extremism Is Reclaiming Power,” published by the European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual & Reproductive Rights (EPF), faults “religious extremism” for the phenomenon of “accelerating financial expansion of movements working to dismantle decades of hard-won sexual and reproductive rights across Europe.”

I was persecuted for being a Christian, says teacher sacked over Connolly comments

A teacher who was sacked after saying Lucy Connolly was a victim of “two-tier policing” says he has been persecuted for being a Christian.

Simon Pearson, 56, was accused of Islamophobia after saying in a private Facebook group that Connolly should not have been jailed, and believes he would still be in a job if he had been accused of offending Christians and not Muslims.

Report on “religious extremism” focuses on Catholicism, ignores Islam

Mass Murderers Publish “Catholic Extremism” Report

A recent document by a European think tank decries the “accelerating financial expansion of movements working to dismantle decades of hard-won sexual and reproductive rights across Europe.” The report, published by the Brussels-based European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual & Reproductive Rights (EPF), highlights the “anti-rights and religious extremist actors in Europe,” but focuses mostly on just one religion: Christianity. Through this inherent bias, the organization admits the one institution that its members and their allies fear—the Catholic Church—as the organizing force behind the “religious ideologues [who] are executing meticulous, long-term strategies for power.”

EPF’s executive committee consists of one member of the European Parliament, along with members of parliament from several constituent states of the EU, with two additional politicians from outside the Union. All of the committee members come from socially left-wing political parties—from a party of the French “center,” Renaissance (founded by French President Emmanuel Macron) to the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party.

FBI files show targeting of Catholic groups was bigger than Biden-era officials acknowledged

The Biden-era FBI concealed the extent of its anti-Catholic operation, which then-FBI Director Christopher A. Wray told Congress was limited to a single 2023 memo, according to newly revealed bureau documents.

The FBI files were obtained by Senate Judiciary Chairman Charles E. Grassley and shared first with The Washington Times.

The files show that the agency was engaging in a bureau-wide investigation of “Radical Traditionalist Catholics,” though the episode was characterized by Mr. Wray and other top FBI officials as a one-off memo.

380,000,000 Christians Persecuted for ‘Their Faith’: Where Is the Outrage?

In 2024, around the world, 4,476 Christians — more than 12 a day on average — were “killed for faith related reasons.” Another 4,744 Christians were arrested or illegally detained, and 7,679 churches and other Christian institutions were attacked, often destroyed.

Overall, the global persecution of Christians has reached unprecedented levels. “More than 380m Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith,” according to the World Watch List 2025 (WWL) published earlier this year by the international human rights organization, Open Doors.

Every year, the WWL ranks the top 50 nations in which Christians are the most persecuted for their faith. The data is compiled by thousands of grassroots workers and external experts. The latest edition of the WWL covers October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024.

‘We fear that violence will come the way of the Christians next’

Muslims Defaced Christan Icons Maaloula Syria

The priest would prefer that the ghosts of his community’s violent past are laid to rest. Every family in Maaloula — where Christian and Muslim neighbours were riven by bloodshed — has a deeply personal memory of the civil war: a killing, an abduction, a disappearance; displacement, grief and loss.

In the interests of reconciliation Father Fadi Barkil believes it may be better to forgive and forget.

Yet as word of the latest sectarian violence against the Druze community in Syria spreads, fears for the future keep Maaloula’s ghosts of the past alive.

Trump Vows to End Bias Against Christians

Despite its still large number of adherents, Christianity has borne the brunt of ruling class hostility toward religious faith.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi held a press conference Tuesday where she formally launched the White House Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias.

The issue of anti-Christian bias extends as well into the halls of academia. U.S. President Donald Trump mandated the task force through a Presidential Executive Order in February. The decision is designed to end the anti-Christian weaponization of government and unlawful conduct targeting Christians.

Joining the attorney general were members of President Trump’s cabinet and key government agencies as well as people purportedly affected by anti-Christian bias during the Biden administration.

Columbia Is Targeting Catholic Students Like Me

The university says it’s cracking down on campus anti-Semitism. Instead, it’s going after a student for publicly expressing his faith.

Columbia University has told the Trump administration that it’s cracking down on anti-Semitic violence and intimidation and winding down DEI. But behind closed doors, the university’s Office of Institutional Equity (OIE), a new bureaucracy supposedly set up to address campus anti-Semitism, is targeting me for expressing my Catholic faith.
