Sexual and violent crimes committed by men are being falsely attributed to women.

Singer Demi Lovato has this week been doing what celebrities do best: navel-gazing and making a drama out of it. Earlier this week, Lovato announced: ‘I’ve been doing some healing and self-reflective work, and through this work, I’ve had the revelation that I identify as non-binary.’ In the UK, Lavato’s announcement was met with gushing praise across the meida, with few willing to admit that a non-binary ‘gender identity’ makes about as much sense as lady testicles.

A little like death, taking a dump is a great leveller; a function that all human beings share. While it might not be as politically or philosophically sexy as ‘the right to die’, the right to access lavatories is fundamental to our dignity.

For decades, American mainline Protestant denominations have strived to remain culturally relevant, often at the expense of biblical Christian doctrine. Many churches in these denominations may remain faithful to the gospel, but the institutions accept a terrifying degree of heterodoxy among the clergy — as even pastors deny the bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On Monday, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) laid the groundwork for forcing doctors and hospitals to perform transgender surgery in the name of fighting “discrimination.” HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine (a biological male who identifies as a woman) announced that HHS would adopt the Orwellian redefinition of “sex” to force transgender ideology in the medical field, mainstreaming the arguable chemical castration of children.

I first met Jo and Carol in Manchester two years ago, when I spoke as a clinician on a panel at what is believed to be the first conference dedicated to the issue of detransitioners (people who once presented themselves as transgender, but then decided to live in accordance with their biological sex). At this event, seven young women spoke publicly about why they transitioned, why it wasn’t successful, and how they came to the decision to detransition. All of these women had undergone mastectomies, and some had hysterectomies and even oophorectomies (the removal of both ovaries). They had all taken testosterone, which permanently deepened their voices, and gave rise to new forms of body and facial hair. Although they had experienced much in their lives, none was over the age of 25. As you might imagine, these testimonials were shocking and harrowing.

Fans have reacted with fury after Laurel Hubbard, a weightlifter who competed in men’s competitions before transitioning in 2013, was announced as being in line to take on women at the Tokyo Olympic Games later this year.

The New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC) confirmed that Hubbard, who was the subject of a failed Australian weightlifting federation bid to ban her from participating in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, is “very likely” to be allocated a quota spot for the showpiece this summer.

I’m OK with this so long as not another cent of tax payer money funds athletes and that it be made law that Canada will never bid to be a host of or participate in future Olympic games.
