Remember when federal officers with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) used tear gas on violent antifa rioters who set off fireworks at the federal courthouse in Portland? Legacy media outlets framed the issue as feds cracking down on “mostly peaceful protests.” A woke mob pressured The New York Times to retract Sen. Tom Cotton’s op-ed calling for law and order and got op-ed editor James Bennet to resign.
Throughout the summer of 2020, we watched rampaging Black Lives Matter Marxists and Antifa anarchists try their damnedest to burn America’s cities to the ground and create as much chaos as possible. Or as Pelosi & Co. saw it, “justifiable peaceful protests.”
As the riots continued, night after night, week after week, month after month, Democrat after Democrat trotted out before a television camera, or onto a CNN or MSNBC set to remind America that “far-right extremists” are far more likely to embrace violence as means to achieve political goals, and peaceful, “buy the world a Coke and teach it to sing in perfect harmony” Democrats were anything but.
In other words, the Democrat Party and its liberal media sock puppets told you not to believe your “lying” eyes as you watched building after building torched, and small business after small business destroyed — many, permanently —along with the livelihoods of hardworking Americans who built those businesses.
Turns out the Democrats were the “misinformed” — not your eyes.
Also turns out that white liberals are far more likely to support using violence to advance their political agenda — than any other demographic in the country. Shocked? Me, neither.
A flashback to June? Nope — the protests and riots that have roiled Portland since last spring continue, including the targeting of the city’s federal courthouse. Before the “self-described anarchists” got to the Mark Hatfield Federal Courthouse, though, the crowd attacked businesses in the city, smashing windows and committing other “damage.”

According to a news release, the bill would create a new section of law to protect motor vehicle operators fleeing a riot under a reasonable belief their actions were necessary to protect them from serious injury or death. It also would update language in statute relating to those who are convicted of illegal activity during the course of riots.
Federal prosecutors have “quietly dismissed” 34 of 90 cases stemming from the violent riots in downtown Portland last summer, and many more federal charges are expected to be dismissed soon, KGW8 reported this week. Cases being dismissed include felony charges such as assaults on federal officers, court records show.

On Friday, supporters of former President Donald Trump held a parade in New York City, and as usual, while they were peacefully assembling they were met by counter-protesters. The event featured the a 50-foot “Trump 2024” flag, and a march from Trump Tower down to Times Square, but things got heated after the anti-Trump haters, supported by Democrats and mainstream news media types, clashed with them and I am certain the Trump supporters will get 100% of the blame.
More than half of the cases dropped were “dismissed with prejudice,” which means the case can’t be brought back to court, and at least 11 of the dismissals occurred on or after the inauguration of President Joe Biden.
Deplatform Hate is the latest antifa-allied initiative designed to strip conservatives of their online presence. Deplatform Hate consists of a hand-selected gang of socialists funded by an unnamed “progressive not-for-profit”. Deplatform Hate pledges to dox Trump supporters who they conflate with nazis.
With the enthusiastic blessing of the establishment media, several antifa-loving individuals have been selected to represent Deplatform Hate. These self-proclaimed anti-fascists have gained respect and notoriety for their skill in doxxing the “far-right”, an umbrella term applied to non-socialists.

Rioters in Portland late Saturday smashed windows, vandalized buildings, and harassed diners.
Video footage showed a group clad in black, dressed in the style favored by the far-left Antifa network marching down the street, stopping to spray paint structures, break windows, and shout at diners.

Lawmakers in Montana are in discussions regarding a bill that would classify the anarcho-communist group Antifa as a domestic terror organization.
Antifa networks and ideologically affiliated groups have conducted violent street protests and riots in a number of cities over the past several years, including in Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, Olympia, and elsewhere.
Three news agencies paid an activist who identifies as Antifa and was charged for allegedly committing crimes during the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol for footage he captured during the mayhem.
CNN, NBC, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) paid John Earle Sullivan thousands of dollars to use video clips he shot inside the building, according to a new court filing.
Antifa is the muscle, the Southern Poverty Law Center and other non-profits help pick the targets, and anyone who points out their totalitarian intolerance is called a fascist, promptly canceled, or burned in effigy. That’s the crazy Leftist triangulation playing out these days on the streets of Portland and in many other riot-prone American cities. Journalist Andy Ngo knows this all too well.
On Sunday, a group of homelessness activists who dressed up in antifa-style black bloc, armed with batons and knives, entered the lobby of the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia, Wash., demanding the hotel open rooms for homeless people. Antifa agitators allegedly assaulted an employee while other employees hid in a basement room for more than six hours. The police eventually secured the hotel, but in the skirmish, agitators chanted, “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon,” a death threat against cops.
Oregon’s Democratic Party has responded to Antifa’s Inauguration Day attack on its Portland headquarters by insinuating that Republicans are to blame and making no mention of the black-clad vandals who smashed up its property.
“Years of relentless Republican attacks on our Democratic values and the very foundations of our democracy have not stopped our work, and neither will this senseless vandalism,” the party stated on Monday in a Facebook post. “We are undeterred.”
Antifa rioters started fires and trashed buildings in Tacoma, Washington, in outrage over viral video of a police officer driving his squad car through a crowd of illegal street racers.
Videos showed numerous fires and businesses smashed up late Sunday as more than 100 people took to the streets close to where the officer had sped through a crowd the previous night, running over at least one person.
