Prominent writer flees Portland after increased threats from ‘Antifa extremists’
Journalist Andy Ngo has told Sky News how he had to flee his hometown of Portland, Oregon after increasing threats on his life by “Antifa extremists”.
Portland has been one of the homes of intense Antifa rioters since the summer of riots in 2020 which saw several federal buildings sieged and destroyed.
“My hometown of Portland, Oregon is the epicentre of American Antifa”.
Protests outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland turned ugly on Saturday night as federal authorities threatened mass arrests for trespassing.
Dramatic videos posted on Twitter showed the crowd chanting: ‘No borders! No nations! Abolish deportations!’
Officers with the Federal Protective Service, a branch within the Department of Homeland Security, declared an unlawful assembly at about 10pm and ordered protesters to disperse.

ANTIFA celebrated President Joe Biden’s inauguration by vandalizing and rioting in Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR.
They do not care who is in charge in D.C. They chanted, “F*ck President Biden” as they destroyed businesses in Seattle, WA.
The only thing that has changed is the silence from the Democratic leaders even after ANTIFA vandalized the Oregon Democratic Party offices in Portland, OR.
Antifa, the mythical group invented by right-wingers for reasons unknown, peacefully rioted in Seattle and Portland. Though they posted flyers on social media saying they would turn violent, some were caught off-guard.

Antifa rioters smashed windows at Portland’s Democratic Party headquarters, burned US flags in Denver and vandalized store fronts in Seattle just hours after President Joe Biden was sworn in.
While some right-wing extremist groups had vowed to disrupt Biden’s inauguration following the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol, only scattered protests and violence emerged on Wednesday.
Federal police were forced to deploy tear gas in an attempt to disperse protesters who threw rocks and eggs at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland, Oregon, late on Wednesday night.

Anarchist John Sullivan was just arrested by FBI/DOJ for inciting a riot inside the U.S. Capitol. Evidence shows him agitating the crowd and encouraging violence.
“Far-left activists surrounded Powell’s Books in Portland on Monday and demanded the store stop selling Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy, a book about antifa written by Andy Ngo,” Reason’s Robby Soave reports. “The protests forced the store to close early.”
A large group of Antifa and Black Lives Matter demonstrators wearing black bloc and carrying shields marched in the streets of Manhattan on Sunday. While the group remained mostly peaceful, a female social-media journalist came under attack for “supporting Trump.”
An Antifa group armed with a baseball bat, bottles, and chemical sprays attacked a group of Trump supporters at a demonstration in San Diego. Antifa also threw glass bottles, rocks, and eggs at a line of police officers attempting to maintain order.
A massive mob of Antifa are marching in New York City right now. Carrying shields, wearing “pig” masks and signs against the police, claiming to oppose fascism and making a show of force and intimidation.
