A Danish museum wants an artist to return around 534,000 kroner ($83,000) he had been given in cash to recreate old artworks using banknotes, after he produced blank canvasses with the title “Take the Money and Run”.
Jens Haaning, a Danish artist, was commissioned by the Kunsten Museum.
He was asked to reproduce two of his works representing the annual salary in Denmark and Austria.
But the artist pocketed the cash and produced the blank canvasses.

A former server at a Gibsons, B.C. restaurant has been awarded $30,000 after a B.C. Human Rights Tribunal decision found they were unfairly terminated for asking managers and co-workers to call them by their proper pronouns.
The decision, by the tribunal’s Devyn Cousineau, found that Jessie Nelson, a non‐binary, gender fluid, transgender person who uses they/them pronouns, was terminated because of “how they responded to discrimination” from their employer and a colleague.

Indigenous children set to receive billions after judge rejects Trudeau challenges
A federal court in Canada has paved they way for billions in compensation to First Nations children who suffered discrimination in the welfare system, after a judge dismissed a pair of legal challenges by the government.
Two years ago, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal ruled that the federal government had “wilfully and recklessly” discriminated against Indigenous children living on reserves by failing to properly fund child and family services.
The tribunal ruled the federal government was required to pay compensation worth C$40,000 to each child removed from his or her home – the maximum allowable under the country’s human rights act.

Families of ISIS detainees in Syria take Canada to court over inaction on repatriation
TORONTO — Families of Canadians detained in Syria over links to ISIS have filed a case in federal court against the Canadian government over perceived inaction on getting them home.
The proceeding was filed on Monday in Ottawa on behalf of 11 families – referred to as “Bring Our Loved Ones Home,” or BOLOH, to protect their identities. The case outlines their beliefs the government has neglected to uphold parts of the Federal Court Act, the Citizenship Act, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, in relation to repatriating their family members.

Democratic operative and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib staffer Rasha Mubarak thinks otherwise; she has lionized the terrorists as heroes. It is not the first time Mubarak has championed Palestinian terror, and the Democratic Party continues to embrace her and even groom her for future political office.
