This is what you need to know about the Qantas ‘No Jab, No Fly’ plan

I’m no anti-vaxxer. I’ve had every Vaccine, and so have my children.

But like many around the world, I’m a little sceptical about the fastest produced Vaccine in history. It hasn’t been tried and tested so no one could possibly know if and what the longterm effects are. And with everything we now know about this virus, I can understand why so many people will reject this injection and want to stop their kids from having it.

Pa Gov sticks it to bar and restaurant owners again with alcohol ban, calls on police to enforce new restrictions

Additional measures announced by Democrat leaders ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, including a seeming return to Prohibition, are limiting even more of the freedoms of Pennsylvania residents. Gov. Tom Wolf urged people to stay at home and not gather with those outside of their household, and Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine announced a one-night ban on the sale of alcohol in the state.

Trudeau says Canadians will likely have to wait until 2021 for first doses of COVID-19 vaccine

“Since the very beginning we knew there would be challenges because unlike the Germans, Americans and the British we don’t have a mass production capacity for vaccines so we had to come up with broader sources than those sources and that’s precisely what we did and we were even criticized internationally because we got too much access to vaccines,” Trudeau said.

  1. Isn’t the first priority of government to protect its citizens?
  2. There’s a country that borders Canada that is screaming to purchase medicine from them. Why hasn’t any effort been made to create a pharmaceutical industry?

Police say it would be ‘unsafe’ to shut down Adamson BBQ due to large crowds

Toronto police say they don’t have the manpower to shut down a busy Etobicoke BBQ joint that defied provincial COVID-19 lockdown orders on Tuesday by opening for indoor dining.

Police and city bylaw officers arrived at Adamson Barbecue on Tuesday morning after it announced earlier on social media that it would defy the province’s orders forbidding indoor restaurant service.

CityNews reported that Adamson Barbecue had first taken to social media on Monday to proclaim that it wouldn’t be obeying the latest lockdown order. The Ontario government had announced in recent days that indoor dining, and various other activities, would be curbed from this week on, to stop the spread of the virus.

More Salem than Thanksgiving – Coronavirus panic has set America back hundreds of years

Had King James’s Privy Council contained a proto-Anthony Fauci in 1620, there might not have been a Thanksgiving holiday for the current-day Fauci and his peers to cancel four centuries later. The transatlantic voyage that brought the Pilgrims to Plymouth Rock would have been unthinkable under the ‘stay safe’ philosophy that now governs American life.

Toward a Better Social Media

Toward a Better Social Media

It isn’t just the censorship and bogus fact-checking that make Facebook and Twitter so awful.

…Since we began this process a few years ago and throughout our research period we have seen many companies rushing to market in our space. Each of these companies have the best of intentions trying to create a solution in this era of censorship and cancel culture. The biggest for these startups is that unless they understand the depths of big tech and have the right team in place to build an infrastructure they will all be reliant on competitor technology and always at risk for being shut down. Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure control the market when it comes to hosting. Unfortunately, all run their cloud technology through Chinese data centers….

Beware of Big Government’s Science Experts

In his famous 1961 farewell address to the nation, then-President Dwight Eisenhower stated that “[while] holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite.”

Eisenhower’s concerns stemmed from a growing number of powerful interest groups, mainly in science and the military. He feared that their emerging influence would erode the nation’s freedom and liberty under false concerns and pretenses. While he made clear that these individuals’ presence was necessary for America’s prosperity, he believed their power, if left unchecked, would move national decision-making outside of the three prongs of government the Founding Fathers established.
