Stunning Classified Memo Details How U.S. Commandos Are Getting Beaten By Terrorists in Africa

For the better part of two decades, U.S. commandos—Navy SEALs, Army Green Berets, and Marine Corps Raiders, among them—have been fighting quasi-wars across the African continent. From Tunisia to Somalia, special operators have been involved in combat while working with local allies against a plethora of terrorist groups known in military parlance as violent extremist organizations or VEOs.

China Pressures Global Apparel Brands to Recant Stance on Xinjiang Forced Labor

China Pressures Global Apparel Brands to Recant Stance on Xinjiang Forced Labor

The Chinese regime is waging war on Western apparel brands amid a global fallout over its genocide against Uyghurs in the Xinjiang region. Undeterred by growing international condemnation over its rights abuses, Beijing is pressing Western companies to reverse their position on Xinjiang.

The regime has dredged up past statements made by companies—some up to two years old—to stop sourcing cotton from Xinjiang over potential forced labor abuse to stoke nationalist fervor and encourage a nationwide boycott.

These “Woke Corporations” like Nike should never have been in China to begin with. No sympathy here.

Suez Canal crisis threatens global toilet roll shortage as shipping route still blocked

A megaship blocking the Suez Canal may cause a new toilet paper crisis, it is claimed.

It comes just a year after UK supermarket shelves were stripped of toilet roll in a frenzy of panic buying just before the first lockdown.

Huge queues of ships waiting for the Suez Canal to be unblocked could now result in a new worldwide shortage of toilet paper, according wood pulp firm Suzano SA.

The U.S. Intelligence Community, Flouting Laws, is Increasingly Involving Itself in Domestic Politics

A report declassified last Wednesday by the Department of Homeland Security is raising serious concerns about the possibly illegal involvement by the intelligence community in U.S. domestic political affairs.

Entitled “Domestic Violent Extremism Poses Heightened Threat in 2021,” the March 1 Report from the Director of National Intelligence states that it was prepared “in consultation with the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security—and was drafted by the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with contributions from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).”

President Joe Biden has shifted responsibility for the southern border over to Vice President Kamala Harris after respondents to a poll blamed him for the migrant crisis, pinning her with a difficult crisis on an issue she has a history of radical and leftist positions on that may provide American citizens a glimpse of what is next.

Senator Cotton’s Stand – a bill to protect the military from critical race theory

Tomorrow, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton will introduce legislation to ban critical race theory trainings in the United States military. The bill is concise, and desperately needed. As I have warned since last year, critical race theory and related ideologies have begun to make their way into the armed services, with some branches promoting “white fragility” book clubs and the West Point military academy teaching CRT as part of a leadership program.

Weaponizing Race and Gender

Perhaps the most frightening thing happening in America is the weaponizing of race and gender. We need to be wary, because this is a war for power. This is a war to deny American citizens our Constitutional rights and to create a totalitarian society controlled by the woke left.

We must not allow this to happen, or it will mean the defeat of all the principles and all the freedoms that this country was built upon. The latest battle in this war is the media coverage of, and the Democrat talking points about, the horrific recent shootings in Atlanta. But I believe the war started years ago.

The War on Sex – Today’s ravenous gender radicals are poised to eat their own.

In his 1973 book The Inevitability of Patriarchy, the sociologist Steven Goldberg described sex as “the single most decisive determinant of personal identity.” Today, one wonders if such a book could even be published. Even if it were, it would certainly face a massive assault by the scholarly establishment, the “news” media, and much of the rest of elite culture, including that of many self-styled conservatives.

China on the Rise: Never Forget the Horror of Chinese Totalitarianism

That way we’ll remain aware of the dangers posed by the CCP’s creation of another Red Emperor.

The People’s Republic of China is America’s biggest foreign policy challenge. China is an ancient civilization and a fascinating country. It also is regressing toward brutal authoritarianism if not totalitarianism. This terrible legacy undermines the legitimacy of the Chinese political system.

For many people, misrule under Mao Zedong, the so-called Great Helmsman and Red Emperor, might seem like old news. But the PRC continues to illustrate the danger of infusing absolute dictatorship with communist ideology. That toxic combination yielded years of immiserating poverty, brutal tyranny, social chaos, and mass murder.

American Exodus – Don’t wait for the oligarchy to let you in. Just walk away.

…Today, the oligarchy that controls American society’s commanding heights leaves those who are neither its members nor its clients little choice but to marshal their forces for their own exodus. The federal government, the governments of states and localities run by the Democratic Party, along with the major corporations, the educational establishment, and the news media set strict but movable boundaries about what they may or may not say—on pain of being cast out, isolated from society’s mainstream. Using an ever-shifting variety of urgent excuses, which range from the coronavirus, to the threat of domestic terrorism, to catastrophic climate change, to the evils of racism, they issue edicts that they enforce through anti-democratic means—from social pressure and threats, to corporate censorship of digital platforms, to bureaucratic fiat. Nobody voted for this.

Rex Murphy: How to turn turnip brains into learned adults, and other tips about university

Those were the days… Delta Delta Delta, Texas University of Texas, Austin 1944

There is considerable turmoil and confusion on very many North American campuses. Students in particular, and even some professors, are somewhat perplexed on the “idea of a university,” and the particular relationships to be found on campus. I’d like to offer a very slim vade mecum or guide on a few essential understandings. Kind of a pamphlet — On Going to University. It is mainly addressed to would-be students. Here goes.

Why do you go? To train your mind and put something good in it.
