Bangladeshi Muslim who raped girl, 12, states child rape is his culture
A Bangladeshi man who raped a 12-year-old girl and groomed a nine-year-old in Britain lacked “English moral values”, a court heard.
Tarek Miah, who abused his young victims after grooming them on TikTok and Snapchat, may have had an adverse attitude towards young girls because of his “culture”, prosecutors said.
Miah, 20, was jailed for 15 years at Portsmouth Crown Court in Hampshire after admitting eight charges, including four counts of raping a child under the age of 13.
BURTON: The trained seals in the House of Commons
Prime Minister Mark Carney recently said what many Canadians have suspected for years. Caught on a hot microphone during a meeting with Croatia’s Prime Minister, Carney remarked that Members of Parliament are “just useful for votes.”
The controversy is not that he said it. The controversy is that he may have been telling the truth.
AfD Strengthens Grip on Eastern Germany as Brandenburg Support Reaches 37%
The right-wing Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) has opened up a commanding lead in the eastern German state of Brandenburg, according to a new poll, highlighting the continuing rise of the party across the country.
The survey places the AfD at 37%, 15 percentage points ahead of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) of Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke, which stands at 22%.
Canada now eligible to take part in Eurovision song contest
OTTAWA — Canada is cleared to participate in the Eurovision song contest after CBC/Radio-Canada became a full member of the European Broadcasting Union on Thursday.
In last fall’s federal budget, the government said it was looking at getting Canada into the popular international song contest.
Eurovision, which has been running for decades, features performers from various countries and is co-ordinated by the European Broadcasting Union.
Your tax dollars were spent on this crap.
However bad your grocery bill is, it will get worse
Food prices have risen significantly faster than other prices over the past decade, both in Canada and elsewhere. Monday’s inflation numbers showed that prices of food purchased in stores rose by 4.3 per cent over the past year, compared with 3.1 per cent for nonfood items. A confluence of pressures is creating a perfect storm for further rapid price hikes.
WaPo Downplays Attempted Assassination By Antifa As ‘ICE Protest’
Last July, a group of armed Antifa militants ambushed an ICE detention facility in Texas, bringing rifles, body armor, and military-style medical kits. During the attack, one officer was shot through the neck. On Tuesday, several Antifa militants who participated in the attack were sentenced — including one individual who was convicted of attempted murder.
But you might not necessarily glean that if you read the Washington Post’s headline of the story.
Dealing With Islamic Extremism: How The Soviets Did It
There’s an old tale about a farmer who recognized there was only one way to deal with his donkey. He had to strike it twice on the head with a two-by-four—the first time simply to gain its attention, the second to get it to listen to what he had to say.
Not to trigger animal rights activists by relating this tale, it is shared simply to underscore the more serious problem of how to negotiate a meaningful deal with Iran’s mullahs who are predisposed not to submit to the West.
The Western Surrender: How New Zealand’s Jacinda Ardern aped Trudeau’s nation shaming
WELLINGTON — When news reports first tumbled out about the “unmarked graves” of 215 youngsters that were said to have been found at the former Kamloops residential school in British Columbia, the story ricocheted far beyond Canada.
Here in New Zealand, which is about as geographically far-flung as you can get, the still-unconfirmed details landed with understandable force.
Small wonder. In 2021, this nation of 5.3 million was in the throes of a royal commission of inquiry into the historical abuse of children in state care, many of them Māori, with much of the attention given to the same era.
Rupert Lowe’s rape gang report and the savagery that must be punished
The much-anticipated Rape Gang Inquiry Report instigated by Rupert Lowe was published last week. Alas, you might have missed it if you get your news from the mainstream media – in particular the BBC which, Lowe notes, has completely ignored it. Still, according to Lowe at least a million people have clicked through to the report, and indeed his original post on X garnered almost 50million views. That is a good start.
Why ‘anti-racist’ training should have no place in our schools
In May, it emerged that a group of Sheffield schools had devised a set of ‘anti-racism’ lesson plans. Among other things, they encouraged teachers to educate children as young as seven to believe that white people are privileged because of the colour of their skin. They were also to inculcate the belief that while black people can be racially prejudiced, because they lack cultural power, they can’t be racist.
Carney’s National Condo Rescue: 4,400 Empty Units, Two Cities, and One Question Nobody Will Answer — Who Pays?
VANCOUVER — A national plan to absorb Canada’s unsold condos is unfolding in two very different shapes — one already called a bailout by some analysts but drawing little of the outrage, the other announced last week by Mark Carney and instantly setting the public on fire. Two cities, more than 4,400 unsold condos held on the books of wealthy private companies, both outcomes hard to predict — but Vancouver’s is already being cast by critics as a handout to well-connected Liberal insiders.
This is, first, a national story.
This sounds like weasel words … Carney admits he did poor job rolling out $1.45 billion B.C. program panned as ‘condo bailout’
Heartbreak of the betrayed families: Miscarriage that staff laughed at, a baby thrown in clinical waste and a terrible death toll of 156 infants and six mothers
Women who placed their trust in the NHS to deliver their babies safely were failed time and again, a review into the biggest maternity scandal in history has found.
The report into the care of mothers and babies at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust lays bare in heartbreaking detail how women’s pleas for help were ignored, while warnings were brushed under the carpet by bosses.
Over ten years, 156 babies and six mothers died because of poor care. Hundreds more suffered serious, long-term injuries, including brain damage.
The NHS, rape gangs, two tiered policing, the UK is gonna go up in flames soon.
Carney says CUSMA breakthrough will ultimately happen between him and Trump
OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney said a deal on CUSMA will ultimately happen between him and U.S. President Donald Trump, despite teams of negotiators on both sides working through trade issues.
“Ultimately… a breakthrough, if you will, on this will…be at that level,” Carney told reporters on Thursday, in answer to a question about whether a deal will ultimately be secured at the leadership level of both countries.
Caught on Camera: SPD Politician Charged Over Attack on AfD Rival
German prosecutors have charged two men with aggravated assault over the attack of an Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) councillor, including one suspect identified by German media as a local Social Democratic Party (SPD) politician. The case and the filed charges reflect increasing political violence against right-wing politicians.
