Biden opened the border and we’re still suffering from the consequences. Ever since then leftists have waged a ruthless campaign, assaulting federal law enforcement and calling for eliminating ICE, in order to protect monsters like this from being deported.

DOYLE: Can Canadians still afford an ordinary Canadian life?
For more than four decades, I have sat across the table from financially distressed Canadians. For most of that time, the people who came through our doors had a debt problem. Something had gone wrong. A divorce, an illness, a layoff, a stretch of poor decisions. We could usually name the event that put them in the chair.
That is changing. More and more of the people we meet cannot point to an event at all. Nothing went wrong. Their budget simply no longer works.
Pentagon releases new batch of UFO files: “Did you see that?”
Washington — The Pentagon on Friday released a new batch of documents and images related to UFOs, also known as unidentified anomalous phenomena or UAP, including a military pilot’s recollection of a huge, strange triangle that blocked out the stars over Afghanistan in 2002.
The 41 new files, posted on the Pentagon’s UFO website, include a mix of documents, images and videos. The records come from the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, State Department and Executive Office of the President, with the oldest being from 1950 and the most recent being from this year.
Accused NATO Spy Photographed Justin Trudeau Speaking at a Toronto Gala in July 2014, Years Before Entering Government
OTTAWA — On July 14, 2014, a Facebook account belonging to Biwei Zhang, the woman now accused of spying inside NATO’s military command and of membership in a criminal organization, published a photograph of Justin Trudeau speaking from a stage at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, in a ballroom holding several hundred guests seated at banquet tables, phones raised toward the podium.
One thing is certain. Trudeau never had Canada’s best interests at heart. Neither does Carney.
Labour council installs squat toilets ‘preferred by international visitors’ in new £1million block and you will have to pay £1 to use them
A Labour council in Cambridge has installed squat toilets said to be favoured by international visitors and are charging users £1 per visit.
The public toilets – which include three ‘squat-style flushing toilets’ – on Silver Street, opposite Queens’ College at the University of Cambridge, cost Cambridge City Council £1million to build.
They replaced a 1980s block that was repeatedly flooded by the River Cam, which runs next to it.
OLDCORN: If Regina can hear the Islamic call to prayer — why must Christianity stay quiet?
REGINA — Canada’s establishment has spent years telling Christians to keep their faith private.
Don’t pray here. Don’t mention Jesus there. Rename the Christmas concert. Drop the Lord’s Prayer. Tone down the Christian language. Make everything “inclusive.”
Yet a Regina mosque has been permitted to broadcast the Islamic call to prayer over loudspeakers in the heart of the city.
Bill Maher Obliterated Anthony Fauci Last Night
Bill Maher has been on a tear, largely because his side has become unhinged. The comedian attacked his side of the aisle again, criticizing the Democratic Socialists of America for revealing their true colors, disapproving of Broadway actors being fired for speaking the truth about transgender issues, and putting Anthony Fauci under intense scrutiny. No, let’s be real: he put him in a pressure cooker.
Colby Cosh: Supreme Court to decide which comes first — Crown oath or Sikh faith
On Thursday morning, the Supreme Court of Canada delivered a little surprise package: it has agreed to entertain the Alberta government’s appeal of Wirring v. Law Society of Alberta, a 2025 decision in which the province’s appeal court struck down the requirement for prospective lawyers to take an oath of allegiance to the sovereign.
WTF?
Unsure if these pros were drug tested beforehand and I also don’t have answers about betting, but finally, a sport where real women can dominate.

Meet America’s New Un-Americans… the DSA
An all-time favorite whipping boy of the American Left is the House Committee on Un-American Activities. Most readers wouldn’t recognize the group by its proper acronym — HCUAA — but they certainly know the Left’s reordered, twisted acronym: the dread “HUAC.” That translates to the “House Un-American Committee.” Improperly rendered, yes, but the label has stuck. You can succeed at such propaganda when your ideology pervades the media, Hollywood, academia, the culture — what we at The American Spectator have long called the Kultursmog.
WTF?
THEY ELECTED ALL THOSE MUSLIMS TO CITY GOVERNMENT, THEN THE MUSLIMS REMOVED THE GAY PRIDE FLAGS… ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE THE WORD "IRONY".

Concession Carney faces his Neville Chamberlain moment
As U.S. President Donald Trump’s Aug. 19 deadline approaches, Prime Minister Mark Carney is making concessions to keep looming tariffs at bay. This could prove to be a defining moment in deciding the fate of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, for the choices are stark: appeasement or defiance, with little room for maneuver in between.
The Globe and Mail has reported that a deal may be in the making in which the U.S. lowers – but does not remove – duties on steel and aluminum and perhaps autos and forest products. In exchange, Canada would remove retaliatory tariffs on autos and take action on other U.S. irritants such as alcohol and dairy.
The Cambridge diversity scramble that led to Arday fiasco
Hilary Cremin, the head of Cambridge University’s Faculty of Education, could not stop smiling as she welcomed Jason Arday to her department as a professor. “We are so lucky to have you,” she beamed. “You are the best in the world in terms of the research that you do.”
Those words have come back to haunt Prof Cremin after Mr Arday resigned on Wednesday night following weeks of damaging revelations by The Telegraph about his apparent plagiarism and partially fabricated CV.
GUNTER: Liberal refugee claimant policy burdens Canada’s health care
That didn’t take long.
Back in May, as part of a promise in the last federal budget to lower the cost of providing health care for unproven refugee claimants and asylum seekers, the federal government announced that newcomers awaiting hearings on their permanent residency would be required to pay 30% of their health care costs and four dollars on all prescriptions.
President Trump: Beware the Motivations of Regional ‘Friends’
US President Donald J. Trump, in Operation Epic Fury, provided the only — and truly bold — confrontation with the Iranian regime by any American president. No prior leader dared to act with such resolve, or really at all. Many, in fact, actually helped finance Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs
