Mother of Canadian girl freed from ISIS detention camp in Syria heading to Canada soon

The Canadian government has issued an emergency passport to the mother of a young girl who was freed from an ISIS detention camp in northeastern Syria earlier this year so she can return home to Canada and reunite with her daughter.

“It’s going to be the best moment of my life,” the woman told CBC News. “That moment is all I’ve been thinking about this whole time.”

CBC News is not naming the woman because of security reasons, and to protect her daughter.

The woman and her daughter were being held in a Syrian detention camp for people with alleged ties to ISIS

11 Central Ohio men convicted of conspiring to illegally smuggle hundreds of guns to Canada for profit

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Eleven defendants have been convicted and sentenced in a conspiracy to smuggle at least 200 firearms from Ohio to Canada for tens of thousands of dollars.

Abdulwahab Sharif Mohamed Hassan, 30, of Columbus, Ohio, was sentenced in federal court today to 72 months in prison.

A federal grand jury charged the co-conspirators in indictments returned on Aug. 19, 2020, and Nov. 19, 2020. Defendants were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 12 months and 1 day to 72 months of imprisonment.

This wasn’t a political protest – it was shameful mob behaviour

It was the visceral, aggressive vibe at the protest against Tzipi Hotovely at the London School of Economics last night that was most disturbing. The Israeli ambassador to the UK was chased by a mob of howling students. ‘Shame!’, they screamed. One seemed to lunge towards her, but was blocked by a member of her security detail. A long line of police officers had to hold others back. ‘Whoever smashes the ambassador car window… gets pints’, said a group called LSE Class War on Instagram. It posted the name of the street her car was parked in and said: ‘Let’s fuckin frighten her… Let’s make her shake.’ A mob calling for the terrorising of a Jewish woman? Classy.

Get used to it. It’s called diversity.

Ambassador Tzipi Hotovely Flees Anti-Israel Rioters at London School of Economics

Israeli Ambassador to London Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) was forced to flee an event held at the London School of Economics Tuesday night following a protest by pro-Palestinian protesters, according to social media. In the video (see above), Hotovely is seen leaving the building holding a bouquet and surrounded by security guards who urge her to get in the car and drive away quickly, with demonstrators holding the Palestinian flag shouting at her, “Shame on you.”

History accelerates on the banks of the Rhine, the river that waters the heart of Europe. as Islam moves forward.

When Pastor Klemens Müller looked out the window last week, he couldn’t believe his eyes. A young Afghan was literally emptying his Frauenberg church in Nordhausen. The Afghan, who has lived in Germany for five years, dragged chairs out, emptied the altar, tore up religious and organ music books and did not stop at the cross, which he mutilated. The shattered symbol, Die Welt says, had been saved from the rubble after the bombing of Nordhausen in World War II. It resisted the bombs, not Europe’s masochism.
It is ironic that the vandalized church belongs to the German Lutheran Church (EKD), which is one of the largest boat donors to NGOs in the Mediterranean such as Sea Watch, one of the organizations that bring migrants to Europe.

It’s all ironic …

In just over a week, several western European countries have seen incidents of violence, including an attack on police officers in France on Monday by an Algerian migrant yelling “Allahu Akbar.”

Since the end of October European states Italy, France and Germany have all seen violence perpetrated by men from migrant backgrounds, and in some cases, attackers professing “Allahu Akbar,” or “God is Great” as they struck.

Everyone is worried about “Islamophobia”: New Jersey’s unlikeliest new state senator-elect just apologized for criticizing Islam; Muslim leaders in Canada want the Ontario government to be more proactive against “Islamophobia”; and a mosque leader in London recently charged that Muslim women in Britain live in fear of “racism.” Meanwhile, in Pakistan several days ago, Muslims fired upon Christians in an attempt to seize their lands; in Nigeria, Muslims kidnapped over one hundred Christians; and in Egypt, two Muslim brothers murdered a Christian shopkeeper because of his faith. The Muslim persecution of Christians has rarely been as virulent or widespread as it is today, yet it gets little attention. That’s why a new book by Casey Chalk, The Persecuted: True Stories of Courageous Christians Living Their Faith in Muslim Lands (Sophia Institute Press), is a breath of fresh air and a welcome dose of realism in an international public discourse increasingly dominated by sloganeering and propaganda.

Shamima Begum’s jihadi husband has refused to condemn ISIS beheadings or the use of sex slaves and said he still hopes to see a caliphate established.

Speaking in an interview from detention centre in northern Syria, Yago Riedijk, 29, described the couple’s ‘beautiful’ former life under the extremist group.

He said ISIS-claimed attacks on the West were not ‘Islamicly responsible’ because they involved killing innocent people which is ‘prohibited in Islam’ but refused to condemn the group’s violence against Yazidis, who were sold as sex slaves, and other Muslims.

Islamist terrorists taking psychology courses to convince prison bosses they are deradicalised

Islamist terrorists are taking psychology courses to help them deceive prison bosses into believing they are deradicalised, a former prisoner governor and government adviser has said.

Prof Ian Acheson, who led a Ministry of Justice review of extremism in jails, said there was growing evidence across Europe that terrorist prisoners were successfully deceiving professionals into believing they were willing to rehabilitate, with potentially deadly consequences.

He cited four cases in the past two years of terror attacks and prison murder attempts where Islamist extremists had been able to mount them after securing new freedoms on release or in jail due to their ability to manipulate the authorities into thinking they had given up jihad.

A shirtless man brandishing a knife attacked residents and a police officer on Tuesday before being shot. A police spokesman confirmed that the officer had been injured but not critically.

Footage and photos shared online show a law enforcement vehicle ramming a shirtless man in the Norwegian capital as he brandished a knife and reportedly threatened passersby.

Last chance: Muslims sue FBI over post-9/11 spying

The US Supreme Court is set to hear a case about Muslims who say they were illegally spied on by the FBI following 9/11. It was previously thrown out by the lower court over revealing state secrets.

On Monday, a group of Muslim men from Southern California, represented by lawyers from the American Civil Liberties Union and others, will see their class-action lawsuit reach the US Supreme Court. The plaintiffs claim religious discrimination and violations of their rights, stating they were spied upon purely because of their faith.

Policeman survives suspected terror attack in French city of Cannes

Police in the French city of Cannes have shot a man who attacked a group of police officers with a knife.

Security sources have told French media the attack looks to have been motivated by Islamist terrorism.

A police source said the attacker claimed to have been acting “in the name of the Prophet.”

He reportedly opened the door of a police car stationed in front of the central police station in Cannes, before stabbing the officer in the driver’s seat.

Regarding the assailant:

Yazidis still displaced in their own country

“… According to the US-based NGO Yazda, some 12,000 people were kidnapped or killed in the first week of what the UN has characterized as the Yazidi genocide in August 2014.

Thousands were forced to flee, and many died as a result. IS fighters killed older people, along with those who were too weak to flee and those who refused to convert to Islam. They kidnapped and indoctrinated children. Boys were trained to become IS fighters, and women and girls were sold into sexual slavery. Thousands of Yazidis are still missing. Many mass graves have been found, but not all of them have been exhumed.”

Something to keep in mind the next time an ISIS supporting Muslim with a Canadian passport demands Canada let them back into the country.
