Biden’s pick to combat disinformation online has spread her fair share of false information in tweets about masks and former President Donald Trump – and has even expressed her support for the former British spy behind the Russian dossier.

On Wednesday, officials announced that Nina Jankowicz, 33, will head the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board as executive director.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas did not disclose any powers that would be granted to the dystopian-sounding board while addressing lawmakers on Wednesday.

Carlson slammed Biden’s new Disinformation Governance Board’s (DGB) in a late April episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight: “To herald the coming of the new Soviet America, the administration announced its own Ministry of Truth,” Carlson said. “This would be called the Disinformation Governance Board.” Carlson clarified that the agency is “using law enforcement powers to identify and punish people who think the wrong things – that would be opponents of the Biden administration.”

How the authorities can INSTANTLY stop the spread of “COVID misinformation”

Everyone agrees: COVID misinformation is a serious problem. But all the methods the authorities have used to try to address the problem attempt to censor our speech. That won’t work. It will never work. It is not how America wants these disputes resolved.

Instead, if the authorities really want to stop the so-called “misinformation spreaders,” all they have to do is create a document or video that answers the questions we have. If we find the answers compelling, we’ll happily stop spreading “misinformation” and promote the document/video to all our followers.

To make this even easier, I have provided a list of 40 questions in this document. If they can answer even one of these questions, we’ll be astounded.

I only just found out that on April 12, this highly prestigious journal ran an article that accuses me of participating in a “Russian disinformation operation.” (Gee, never could have guessed that’d be the accusation. How unexpected.) It took awhile for me to learn of this article’s existence, because I wasn’t contacted ahead of time for any sort of comment or given any chance to reply — apparently a journalistic convention that’s fallen out of favor. Oh well.

CBS News, Weather Channel Strike Climate Content Alliance

CBS News hasn’t put the same kind of spotlight on weather as many of its rivals, but that may all be about to change as quickly as a shift in the wind.

The Paramount Global news unit is teaming with The Weather Channel to bring more reporting on weather and climate to CBS News programs including “CBS Mornings” and “The CBS Evening News,” as well as the division’s streaming efforts. Some of the most popular Weather Channel personalities — including Stephanie Abrams, Jim Cantore and Mike Bettes — are likely to turn up on CBS News programs in reports that originate from Weather Channel’s Atlanta headquarters. CBS viewers will also get to see augmented-reality technology that helps depict what a specific community might look like while in the midst of a tornado, snow or rain. The two media outlets will also team up to cover weather and climate news in deeper fashion as circumstances warrant.
