Tony Blinken And America Get Pantsed By Communist Chinese Official At Alaska Summit

Top Biden officials such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken and national security adviser Jake Sullivan joined Chinese diplomats in Anchorage on Thursday to discuss where the communist regime stands on key issues and how the Biden administration plans to address them.

What started as Blinken warning China that the United States would not shy away from addressing issues such as in “Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Taiwan, cyber attacks on the United States, economic coercion of our allies,” hinting at America’s recent sanctions on Beijing, however, turned into a tense “spat” that left some Chinese Communist Party propaganda and agenda-setting unchecked.

O’Toole Mistakes Conservative Convention For AA Meeting – Party must have ‘the courage to change’

Conservative Party must have ‘the courage to change,’ Erin O’Toole tells party convention

OTTAWA — In a highly-anticipated keynote speech to his party’s national convention, Conservative Party leader Erin O’Toole said it isn’t enough to wait for Liberal scandals to bring down Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — the Conservatives must instead be willing to change in order to expand their voter base.

“We are never going to win over Canadians just by relying on Justin Trudeau to continue to disappoint,” O’Toole said. “His scandals, as outrageous as they often are, will never be enough to defeat him.”

No question the CPC is gonna need a higher power and it ain’t O’Toole.

Alabama House approves bill to ban transgender athletes

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Alabama could become the next conservative state to prevent transgender girls from playing on female sports teams as the state House of Representatives on Thursday approved the legislation.

Representatives voted 74-19 for the bill that will require K-12 athletes to play on teams based on the biological sex listed on their birth certificates. The approval came after Republicans voted to end a filibuster. The bill now moves to the Alabama Senate.

The tyranny of ‘lived experience’ – How the woke elites are gaslighting the entire population.

The tyranny of ‘lived experience’ – How the woke elites are gaslighting the entire population.

Thou shalt not disrespect another’s lived experience. On the surface of it, this would appear to be the key commandment of the woke age. A person’s ‘lived experience’ carries an extraordinary amount of moral weight in the 21st century. Public debate is built around it. Policy, increasingly, is shaped by it. Journalism is full of it: column after column about the lived experience of systemic racism, transphobia, misogyny, mental health. Lived experience is the moral currency of campus life. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve heard student activists recount their ‘lived experiences’ — always oppressive, always tragic — and round furiously on anyone who dares to question said lived experience.

Media Targets Georgia Cops for Frustrating Attempt to Spin Spa Shootings as Hate Crime

Some background.

Asian-Americans have been protesting a wave of violent attacks. Most of those attacks have been carried out by minority or homeless perpetrators. Democrats and the media have frantically tried to blame this on President Trump. Finally, they thought that they hit pay dirt over the spa shootings.

Except that the perpetrator had issues with sexual addiction and it wasn’t a hate crime.

Does AOC Care About Kids in Cages Anymore?

Remember when America was basically Nazi Germany because of all the kids in cages? Day in and day out, the news was filled with frenzied screaming about kids in cages, kids in cages, kids in cages. According to our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the press, Trump’s treatment of unaccompanied children at our southern border proved he was another Hitler.

The Racist Sound of ‘Whiteness Is a Pandemic’

The Racist Sound of ‘Whiteness Is a Pandemic’

The Root is obviously a hyperbolically racial magazine, since its slogan is “The Blacker the Content the Sweeter the Truth.” It’s not surprising that it frequently publishes writer Damon Young, author of the memoir “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Blacker.” We’re told he asked important and dramatic questions like “Will this white person’s potato salad kill me?”

FBI reportedly investigating Cuomo role in shielding donors from Covid liability

Allegations that the New York governor, Andrew Cuomo, improperly used the power of his office to shield political donors from Covid-19 lawsuits have reportedly become the subject of an FBI investigation.

Federal investigators are said to be looking into how a provision granting immunity to hospital and nursing home executives became a late addition to the state’s budget before it was passed last spring.

Conservatives debate whether to declare that ‘climate change is real’ at policy convention

After grappling with Canadians’ climate concerns in recent election cycles, Conservatives engaged in fierce debate today over a policy proposal from a Quebec riding to declare that “climate change is real.”

The Portneuf—Saint Jacques riding association’s proposed policy change would add green-friendly language to the Tory playbook.

The backer is asking delegates to affirm that the party “recognizes that climate change is real” and that “the Conservative Party is willing to act.”

They’ll never win until they learn the media will always hate them no matter how desperately they try to suck up. But like Charlie Brown and that football they just can’t resist.

Why does Canada’s foreign aid policy keep stumbling?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s last overseas trip before the pandemic struck was to Africa.

His first stop was Ethiopia, the top recipient of Canadian aid in the world. There he praised Nobel Peace Prize winner President Abiy Ahmed, citing his “leadership,” the reforms he had brought forward and the way the PM saw the president “pulling Ethiopians together.”

This month, Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau had to call his Ethiopian counterpart to express “Canada’s deep concern regarding credible reports of human rights violations and abuses” in the Tigray region.

Why does Canada’s foreign aid policy keep stumbling? Because it’s a bad idea.
