Barbados to sever its 400-year-old ties with the Crown to ‘leave its past behind’… after taking $500M from China

Today, nearly 400 years after Barbados was claimed for her ancestor King James I by an English ship, the Queen’s role as head of state of the island comes to an end.

The move by the nation’s politicians to turn it into a republic comes more than 50 years after it became fully independent in 1966.

That year, Her Majesty and Prince Philip were greeted by rapturous crowds as they touched down in Bridgetown, Barbados’s capital, for the start of a five-week tour of the Caribbean.

Joe Biden was involved in a deal with a Chinese giant — and was expecting a 10 percent cut

Hunter Biden and his Uncle Jim were already waiting for Tony Bobulinski in the lobby bar of the Beverly Hilton when he arrived at 10 p.m. on May 2, 2017.

The Bidens had chosen a discreet couch behind a thick marble column where they could see everyone who walked in the front entrance. Joe Biden, who had left the vice president’s office a little more than three months before, was flying into Los Angeles to speak at the prestigious Milken Institute Global Conference and would be joining them at the bar within the hour.

Jussie Smollett goes on trial for fake race attack claim

Chicago’s omnipotent Democratic Party machine won’t be able to help disgraced Empire star Jussie Smollett now.

The 39-year-old actor will be in a Windy City courtroom Monday for jury selection at his trial for allegedly orchestrating a bogus racial attack. Sources have said it was a gambit to get more screen time on the smash show.

Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking trial finally set to begin in New York

Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial is finally set to start in New York, 17 months after the British socialite was arrested for allegedly trafficking minors on behalf of former boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein.

Maxwell denies recruiting teenagers as young as 14 for the disgraced paedophile financier to sexually abuse from 1994 to 2004.

Prosecutors say Maxwell, 59, befriended girls with shopping and movie theatre trips, later coaxing them into giving Epstein nude massages at his various residences, during which he would engage in sex acts before giving them money.

Ontario reports 788 new Covid cases … Omicron kicks off world tour

Ontario reports 788 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths

Ontario is reporting 788 new COVID-19 cases today as the seven-day rolling average of new infections approaches 800.

Today’s case count is down from Sunday, when 964 new infections were confirmed, the highest single-day tally reported since May. But the number of new infections confirmed today is a substantial jump from the 627 cases confirmed last Monday.

Omicron COVID-19 variant poses ‘very high’ global risk, WHO warns

The heavily mutated Omicron COVID-19 variant is likely to spread internationally and poses a very high risk of infection surges that could have “severe consequences” in some places, the World Health Organization said on Monday.

No Omicron-linked deaths had yet been reported, though further research was needed to assess its potential to escape protection against immunity induced by vaccines and previous infections, it added.

OMG! It’s here! – “Today, the province of Ontario has confirmed two cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Ottawa, both of which were reported in individuals with recent travel from Nigeria. Ottawa Public Health is conducting case and contact management and the patients are in isolation,” read the statement Sunday.

Salah Abdeslam and the Banality of Terror

The only surviving attacker from the terror commando that descended on Paris on the night of Nov. 13, 2015, is currently on trial. The young man used to like going out, drinking alcohol and smoking joints. What happened?

The witness, François Hollande, walks quickly through the courtroom, past the light-colored, wooden benches where the co-plaintiffs and journalists are sitting. Past the huge glass box from which 11 of the 20 defendants are following the proceedings. The former French president doesn’t even look at them before stopping at a lectern at the front of the courtroom.

“Christians Enjoy No Rights in This Country”: The Persecution of Christians, October 2021

“Christians Enjoy No Rights in This Country”: The Persecution of Christians, October 2021

The Muslim Slaughter of Christians

United Kingdom: On Oct. 15, Ali Harbi Ali, a 25-year-old Muslim man of Somali descent, lunged at and repeatedly stabbed British MP Sir David Amess with a knife. Amess, 69, died soon after. The murder took place inside Belfairs Methodist Church in Essex, where Amess had gone to meet with his constituents. Although initial reports indicated that the motive was unclear, police later declared it a “terrorist incident,” with “a potential link to Islamist extremism.” It is worth noting that, when it comes to severely persecuting and slaughtering Christians, Somalia is the world’s third-worst ranked nation, after Afghanistan (#2) and North Korea (#1).

Why If Poland Falls, We All Fall

Its border crisis is much more than a migration problem.

The Left and the Social Democrats in both Europe and America have one thing in common: they know nothing of human nature. You know: Everyone is good. All criminals can be reintegrated. All borders are bad. And every multicultural melting pot is enriching.

But there’s a problem: It’s not true. Not all cultures are equal. Nor is everyone good. Which is why we need locks on our cars and houses, passwords on bank accounts, and border controls around our lands. Even if the contemporary Left believes that the only threat to their brave new world is capitalism and my huge diesel car, the truth is that there are, for example, a lot of guys who wake up every day intent on killing as many Westerners as they can in the name of Allah, in New York, in Madrid, in Paris, or this past Sunday in Liverpool. And unfortunately, they are much more fervent believers in their Islamist madness than most of our leaders in their own moral heritage.

When Everyone’s a White Supremacist, No One Is

The left lost control of their narrative of the “White supremacist” “active shooter” “murderer” Kyle Rittenhouse in the face of overwhelming factual evidence of self-defense.  So leftists did what they do best (or worst): double down.  Racism!  White supremacy!  No justice, no peace!

The right’s reaction to the left’s reaction to the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict ranges from ridicule to confusion.  How can the left and MSNBC, CNN, and the New York Times — but I repeat myself — claim anti-black racism and white supremacy in a case in which all of the principals — aggressors, victims, shooters, shot, judge, jury, prosecutors, and defense attorneys — are white?

Look at Buddha holes for $5, Taliban offers

Fresh from their conquest of Afghanistan, the Taliban are welcoming intrepid tourists to the famous Bamiyan Buddha statues, ancient monuments that the militant group blew up two decades ago.

Hewn out of a rocky cliffside in central Afghanistan’s Bamyan Valley around the sixth Century AD, the Bamiyan Buddhas stood more than 150 feet tall for 1,400 years, until the Taliban blew them to pieces with high explosives in 2001, shortly before the US invasion ended their brief reign over Afghanistan.

Kyle Rittenhouse and the American identity crisis

Anybody can be whatever you want them to be. White men can be made black. A thug can be a martyr.

There was no reason for the world ever to hear the name Kyle Rittenhouse. Except that in the summer of 2020 this country was staring over a precipice. The Covid lockdowns effectively ended after the killing of George Floyd by a Minnesotan policeman. Suddenly mass gatherings in the name of BLM were a public-health duty and, because it was an election year, neither Democrats nor Republicans seemed to know how to react to protests that soon degenerated into serious disorder.

REvil ‘super-hacker’ wanted by FBI for ‘using ransomware to fleece millions of dollars’ from Americans is unmasked

One of the FBI’s most wanted men linked to ransomware gang REvil is living freely in a Siberian city with no sign the Russian authorities are acting to detain him.

DailyMail.com tracked suspected super-hacker Yevgeniy Polyanin, 28, to a chic $380,000 (USD) home in Barnaul where he was seen driving his $74,000 Toyota Land Cruiser 200, evidently feeling untouchable.

His wife Sofia, 28, openly runs an upscale social media baking business – including racy hen party cupcakes decorated with male genitalia – while he is accused by the US authorities of extorting millions of dollars from American businesses.

London or Londonistan?

London, where imams are free to foment holy war against the West and MPs are killed in churches, is being strangled by Islamism.

“Officials of the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, got in touch with those who had to host Eric Zemmour to dissuade them.” Thus The Spectator tells how the journalist and probable candidate for the French presidential elections of 2022 (who lives under strict police protection and is threatened with beheading) did not find a room in London for his conference.
When asked directly if Khan was involved, a spokesman for the mayor said: “No one who wants to divide our communities or incite hatred of people because of the color of their skin or the god they worship is welcome in our city”. A spokesperson for Zemmour replied: “Surprising that in a city where calls for jihad are allowed on the streets. Bizarre in the country of free speech.”
