There’s been a great deal of focus on our border with Mexico, less so on the Canadian border, in part because of the sheer size of it and also because it hasn’t been as ‘hot’. But many of the incidents that we’ve had on the border have involved Muslims including two plots, one of which targeted LAX airport, and there seems to be a growing number of cases of Muslims transporting kidnapped teens across the border.

Students are finding their way to their classes, meeting their teachers and co-students, participating in frosh activities, joining campus groups and being presented with free student handbooks meant to serve as study planners featuring important dates for the academic year. These are all normal activities for Canadian university students, unless you attend Concordia University in Montreal.
A racially diverse grand jury, reviewing presented evidence, declined to charge anyone in the death of black teenager Nolan Wells, 18. Wells had been out with three white teenage friends on July 4th. They, along with others, made the ten-mile trip in three boats to Horn Island, off the Mississippi coast, where hundreds of other party-goers were enjoying the holiday. Later in the day, the three friends returned to the mainland while Wells stayed behind to further enjoy the activities there with others. Last seen at 3:00 PM, he failed to return home that evening. His mother reported him missing, triggering a two-day search. His body was found at the northwestern tip of the island.
A man who threw a plastic bottle and swore at the police while taking part in an anti-immigration protest in Portsmouth has been sent to prison for two years.
Del Somerville was given a jail sentence on Thursday after pleading guilty to violent disorder following unrest, involving around 200 people, at Eastney Marina on 6 September. Yes, Somerville threw a plastic bottle at police officers, which he shouldn’t have done. But it’s notable just how quickly and severely the courts moved to punish him. It was clear the legal establishment was looking to make an example of him. At Portsmouth Crown Court, the judge explicitly stated that the severe sentence was intended to ‘act as a deterrent’ to others.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist architecture in Canada is manifested in an interlocking network of student organizations, advocacy groups, and charitable entities, which create permission structures for the normalization of anti-Western sentiment, extremism, terrorism, and antisemitism. While the AfD is the largest party across east Germany, a regional exception can be found in Berlin. In last week’s state election, the far-Left Die Linke more than doubled its previous vote share to 25.7%, making it the largest party, with the AfD in third place. In east German politics, it’s clear that the CDU’s support base is being eroded by the AfD. But Berlin presents an exact mirror image, with the SPD being sidelined by Die Linke.
Unlike the CDU with its Right-wing rival, the SPD does not have a formal firewall against Die Linke. That may be changing now, though. The Berlin branch of Die Linke is the most radical in the country. Its main proposals are rent control in the city and the expropriation of private housing owned by property companies. After the Berlin result, the share price of Vonovia, a large Berlin property company, declined against a more hostile political backdrop.

There’s “no urgency” to strike a trade deal with Canada, according to Washington’s trade representative, as Canada continues to supply a variety of key exports to the U.S.
U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer made the comments to American network CNBC Friday morning when asked about progress toward a deal with Canada. He said U.S. President Donald Trump is “comfortable” with the present situation as the two countries scrap through a protracted trade war.
“Our trade policy is a global policy,” he said. “It applies to Canada, China, the U.K., Brazil, all kinds of countries,” he said.

Nowadays, young men are treated as either victims of intense sociological anxiety or the objects of thinly veiled ideological derision. To their critics on the progressive left, young men are creatures of “fragile masculinity,” clinging to (and failing to live up to) arbitrary, patriarchal norms that must be therapeutically deconstructed if we are to achieve a more equitable future. To secular cultural commentators, they are caricatures of apathy; stalled adolescents lingering in their childhood bedrooms, checked out of the labor force, alienated from civic life and hopelessly anesthetized by the digital world.
The diagnosis from both camps is remarkably similar: the modern young man suffers from a fundamental failure of character. A refusal or inability to grow up is merely the predictable effect.
