Armed officers from Germany’s elite Spezialeinsatzkommando (SEK) police unit located and stormed a truck thought to belong a man suspected of carrying out acts of sabotage against electrical infrastructure this week (see below).

There has been major disruption at the Port of Dover due to a large group of masked men holding a demonstration.

The Justice Department’s antitrust division was instructed earlier this week to pause all work with the Canadian government, according to emails reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, the latest development in the escalating trade dispute between the two countries.
In a Wednesday email with the subject line “Pause on Canada,” Lynda Marshall, the chief of the antitrust division’s international section, ordered officials to stop all cooperation on cases and engagement on policy issues with Canadian authorities. A man has been charged after several cars were torched at the home of a Scarborough MP last week, Toronto police say.
Roshvin Crofton, 24, was arrested Sunday. He is charged with arson causing damage to property, mischief over $5,000, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, possession of incendiary material, and failure to comply with probation order, police said in a news release Friday.
This will be the last you hear of this.
