A Toronto man is facing charges after allegedly attending a church in East York on three separate occasions and causing damage.
The first incident happened on July 24.
Toronto police say the accused “threw a rock through a window, causing damage to the religious property.”
Khaliq Hussain Anwar, 56, of Toronto, has been charged with three counts of mischief relating to religious property. The charges have not been tested in court.

Donald Trump says he has cancelled strikes against Iran, provided a deal is struck “rapidly” with the country.
In a post on Truth Social, the US president said he had been asked by Iran and other countries in the Middle East to “hold off” on any attack as the “perimeters” of a deal had been agreed.
Trump’s comments came after reports that the US and Israel may have been planning new, intense strikes on Iran.
A Canadian NATO intern arrested in Belgium on suspicion of spying for China was ordered by a federal watchdog to take a course in ethics after being found to have committed fraud in applying twice under two slightly different identities for a public service job.
Claire (Biwei) Zhang, a Canadian of Chinese origin, worked in public service roles, including at Statistics Canada, before taking up the NATO internship at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, known as SHAPE, in Mons near the French border.

The defining geopolitical struggle of the twenty-first century will not be fought solely with tanks, warships, or fighter aircraft. Increasingly, it will be contested through factories, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, supply chains, advanced manufacturing, and technological innovation. Beijing understands this. Most Western governments, including our own, are only beginning to catch up.

It only took hours for tens of thousands of Moroccan illegal aliens to invade the Spanish territory of Ceuta this week.
