When the English were the boat people

THE British artist Ford Madox Brown was born in 1821 in Calais. The Madox Brown family moved back and forth between the Continent and Kent several times.

Ford Madox Brown finally settled in London in 1844. The Last of England was completed in 1855. It depicts an imagined scene in which a husband and wife gaze aft from a boat. The coast behind them is Kent, as denoted by the white cliffs. The faces are those of Madox Brown and his second wife, Emma Hill.

The boat on which the couple sail is named the Eldorado. El Dorado is a mythical city of gold situated somewhere in South America.

Britain has been ‘colonised by immigrants’ who are costing too much money, says Manchester United co-owner Ratcliffe

Britain has been “colonised” by immigrants who are “costing too much money”, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has said.

The billionaire co-owner of Manchester United, who also owns chemicals empire Ineos, called on the country’s politicians to “show some courage” by tackling immigration, welfare dependency and the sluggish economy.

“You can’t have an economy with nine million people on benefits and huge levels of immigrants coming in,” he told Sky News.

Renaud Camus: The Man Who Was Wrong To Be Right

Two journalists have just embarked on the exercise of writing a ‘biography,’ or rather a damning pamphlet, against the writer Renaud Camus, on whom they intend to heap all the ignominy of having invented and popularised the phrase ‘the great replacement.’”

But what crime is this when the expression is now swallowed and spat out by everyone, including and especially on the Left, by certain MPs and politicians who today make it a point of pride and a programme?

To feed its fundamental need to feel useful, the Left needs scapegoats. As Le Figaro editorialist Eugénie Bastié points out, Jean-Marie Le Pen is dead, so a ‘replacement’ must be found. Renaud Camus is the ideal candidate for the role.

Leftist Leader Hails Great ‘Replacement‘ with Illegal Migrant Amnesty

The leaders of the far-left Spanish Podemos party celebrated on Saturday the “victory” of the mass amnesty for around half a million illegals and hailed the achievement as a step toward the “replacement” of right-wing Spaniards.

Flag Wars in Twee Town

The raising of national flags in a quiet English village shows just how serious things are.

Not much tends to happen down my way. A rural community, with pubs older than the United States, we have traditionally slept the deep, deep sleep of England. Aside from the ubiquitous war memorial—currently dusted with snow—it bears little mark of the wider world, save for the names of those who left here and never returned.

The Betrayal of Britain: Dark Visions of Doom and the Remedies Needed to Survive

The solutions proposed are dramatic, but not compared to possible alternatives: social collapse, ethnic strife, or, if Professor David Betz’s warnings prove true, civil war.

Reading The Betrayal of Britain, a collection of essays just published by the New Culture Forum (NCF), a line from Machiavelli kept coming to mind: “Men sooner forget the death of their father than the loss of their patrimony.” The twelve essays by different authors crackle with anger and frustration at what a once-great Britain has become. This book has the power to red pill readers—if it doesn’t black pill them first.

Mass immigration is fuelling rise of UK ethnic nationalism

New research has found an increase in the number of Britons who believe that a person must be born in the country to be considered truly British, with a significant number tying national identity to race and ancestry. So, are we witnessing the rise of ethnic nationalism in modern Britain?

A YouGov poll carried out on behalf of the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) found that 36% of the public thought a person had to be born in Britain to be truly British — almost double the 2023 figure of 19%. Ethnic and ancestral conceptions of nationhood are the norm among supporters of Nigel Farage’s Reform UK, which continues to lead in the polls. While seven in 10 Reform supporters said that having British ancestry was a prerequisite for someone to be truly British, six in 10 believed the nation was an ethnic — not a civic — community. More than a third of Reform UK voters (37%) said they would be prouder of Britain if there were fewer ethnic-minority people in 10 years’ time, with one in 10 holding the view that it was important to be white to be considered a good British citizen.

Belgium’s ‘population replacement’: 72.9% of children and teens in Brussels have a non-EU migration background, only 10.5% are Belgians of Belgian origin

The demographic changes across Europe are immense, with ethnic, indigenous Europeans rapidly being replaced. As Remix News has noted, this is apparent in cities like Vienna, Austria, but perhaps some of the most stark developments are taking place in Brussels, Belgium.

The data there shows that in Brussels, 72.9 percent of children and youth aged 0-17 have a migration background from outside the European Union or were born outside the EU, according to StatBel, the official government statistic organization.

Statistics Canada said it missed 38 per cent of non-citizens in last census

In the latest example of Ottawa having sketchy figures on the number of non-citizens in the country, Statistics Canada has confirmed that it likely missed several hundred thousand non-permanent residents in the most recent census.

The term “non-permanent residents” refers to anybody living in Canada as a student, a temporary foreign worker or an asylum seeker. And a new report estimates that 38 per cent of non-permanent residents were “missed” by the 2021 census.

This was likely done deliberately to prevent an uprising. Our government simply can not be trusted.

Meet the e-girls selling European decline to America

Earlier this year, a striking 28-year-old woman, dressed head to toe in a vivid shade of crimson, stepped up to the podium at a conference in Hungary. “Ladies and gentlemen: hello Budapest. I’m so thrilled to be here again,” she began, adjusting the twin microphones and gently swiping a strand of long blonde hair from her forehead. “As some of you might remember, last year I gave here a speech as well, about the ‘great replacement,’” she continued, confidently glancing around the assembled audience. “I wanted the whole world to know that the ‘great replacement theory’ was, in fact, not a theory, but reality. White people are becoming a minority in their own homelands at an exceptionally fast rate.”

Everything about this woman – her honeyed tresses, the impeccably tailored suit, the precisely arched brows accentuating a dewy, youthful glow and, of course, the words she was actually saying – might have situated her squarely within the heart of the MAGA playbook. Everything, that is, except the lilting accent and occasional grammatical flub betraying her European origins.

Not much of a sell job is required given the evidence of Europe’s decline and our own is plain to see as is the role of the Great Replacement in hastening our demise.

How Long Until White British Demand a System of Native Protection to Avert Violent Conflict?

In an earlier appearance in the pages of the Daily Sceptic, I suggested that Britain and much of Western Europe were adopting the pathologies of late-stage East European communism: systems drained of ideological vitality and surviving chiefly through performative pieties, bureaucratic coercion and the policing of thought. Not the brutalities of Stalinism, but a post-totalitarian order in which censorship is outsourced to HR departments and social exclusion takes the place of secret police. Somewhat uncharitably, I even suggested European leaders – Keir Starmer in Britain, Friedrich Merz in Germany – were beginning to acquire the physiognomy of those grey party functionaries once photographed beside malfunctioning hydroelectric dams.

The only reason I reached for the East European analogy was that dissent as an act of mental resistance has long been an intellectual preoccupation of mine. It drew me to the work of those like the Czech playwright Václav Havel whose essay The Power of the Powerless (1978) presented a remarkable evocation of a society exhausted by its own untruths, which struck me as increasingly resonant with our own times. Without that prior interest, the parallel would never have occurred to me.

London’s demographic change is unprecedented in peacetime

Most of the population has been replaced within a couple of generations

As a grizzled travel writer, I’ve picked up a few tips over the years. And one of them is this: if you want to understand a country quickly, take an urban food tour. You get to sample delicious scran, you learn how locals eat, drink and socialise and – crucially – as the chat flows, you hear the sort of throwaway facts that make you sit back in surprise.

So it was last night, for me, in Phnom Penh, the increasingly seductive, hedonistic capital of Cambodia. I was eating buffalo beef jerky with a spry fifty-something guy called Vannak, right outside the monastery where the young Pol Pot, the future communist tyrant then known as Saloth Sar, was a trainee monk.

The GTA is our London a 3rd World dumpster that will never recover.
