‘The Global Gateway’: More Empty Promises from the EU?

It has been just over a year since the European Union launched its Global Gateway infrastructure project to compete with China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

The Global Gateway project was launched in December 2021. Meanwhile, China’s BRI was launched in 2012 and has spread all over the globe, especially to Africa, Latin America and Asia, where it has gained China vast influence. The Communist Party newspaper China Daily recently claimed that in 2022 alone, China had signed new contracts with BRI countries worth nearly $100 billion.

Europe’s Proxy War against Israel

How The EU Ignores Hamas’ Crimes

On January 30, representatives of the European Union and several other countries, including Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, Spain and Sweden, visited the Palestinian community of Khan al-Ahmar in the West Bank “to express their concern at the threat of demolition facing the village.”

Khan al-Ahmar, home to 38 Palestinian families, was illegally built more than a decade ago as part of the Palestinian Authority’s plan to illegally seize land near Jordan in Area C of the West Bank, which is exclusively controlled by Israel in accordance with the Oslo Accords signed between the Palestinians and the Israeli government.

EU’s Double-Standards on Iran’s Human Rights: Business First

The European Union’s charter stresses that “Human rights are at the heart of EU relations with other countries and regions. The European Union is based on a strong commitment to promoting and protecting human rights, democracy and the rule of law worldwide”. This is clearly not the case when it comes to the EU’s appeasing relationship with the ruling mullahs of Iran.

The Iranian regime is ramping up its killing spree, torture and arrests.

The European Union’s War on Israel

The European Union (EU) argues that it respects democracy and shares with Israel the values of an open and democratic rule-of-law-based society. If that is true, then why does the EU not respect the decision by the Arabs and the Israelis to mutually come to the table to negotiate their own borders? Why is the EU secretly helping the Palestinians take over Area C of the West Bank through illegal construction?

A confidential leaked document , composed by the EU mission in east Jerusalem, shows that the Europeans are actively working with, and on behalf of, the Palestinian Authority to take over Area C of the West Bank — although the area was clearly agreed on, by both Israel and the Palestinians, until further negotiations, to be under Israeli control.

Qatargate in Europe: The Left’s ideological pact with Islam is far beyond corruption

Recent revelations in the European Parliament are just the tip of the corruption and influence acquisition iiceberg of Doha in Europe.

From “gauche caviar”* to “gauche Qatar”… What is an atheist, LGBT, feminist, abortionist left doing arm in arm with Sharia, the Islamic law of Allah?

( “Gauche caviar” = *“caviar leftist” referring to a person who claims to be a socialist but leads a hypocritic lifestyle inconsistent with such beliefs. “Gauche” means left in French, ed.)

“Political Islam: How the Muslim Brotherhood Gained a Foothold in Brussels”. The weekly Marianne’s investigation on newsstands recounts a scandal that goes far beyond corruption and which has just led to the arrest and searches of numerous MPs and politicians and parliamentary assistants in the European Parliament, accused of corruption in dealings with Qatar.

In the words of L’Echo, “it is the tip of an immense iceberg”.

European “far-right” cheers over Qatar corruption scandal

For years, they’ve locked horns with EU leaders who accuse them of flouting the rule of law, oppressing minorities, and maintaining unsavory ties with foreign regimes such as Vladimir Putin’s in Russia.

But now, as a corruption scandal engulfs Brussels, ensnaring a senior figure of the center-left, Europe’s far-right leaders feel that the shoe is on the other foot — and they are going on the attack against a pro-EU establishment that they say has presided over massive corruption while lecturing them about how to run their countries.

The “far-right” has good reason to cheer, since the far-left are the Qatar corrupted…

“The European Parliament,” said its president, Roberta Metsola, at a session in Strasbourg on Monday, “is under attack.”

The focal point for that attack, for now, is the Parliament’s Socialists and Democrats (S&D) group. In Brussels, police raided the parliamentary office of Greek MEP Eva Kaili, who is currently in a jail cell as she awaits a court appearance, slated for Wednesday.

Now with added “socialists” – Who’s who in the Qatar corruption scandal?

EU corruption scandal: European Parliament offices searched

Belgian investigators searched offices at the European Parliament in Brussels on Monday, in a probe into alleged bribes from World Cup host Qatar.

It was the 20th search carried out since Friday and the parliament president, Roberta Metsola, warned MEPs that “democracy is under attack”.

Belgian police have charged four people, among them European Parliament Vice-President Eva Kaili, a Greek MEP.

Qatar has denied any wrongdoing and Ms Kaili’s lawyer says she is innocent.

The European Death Wish

Answers to Mrs. Hitler

It is seen in the boring hysteria about Giorgia Meloni.

The European elite’s sour reaction to the rise of Giorgia Meloni, Italy’s next prime minister, reveals less about her politics than its own. It harbors a death wish for Europe — a willfulness passed off as a “progressive” ideology that has led to a culture of death, demographic implosion, a floundering economy, and the prospect of a Eurabian future. Consequently, any European politician with even a modicum of common sense poses a grave threat to the elite. Its description of Meloni as a “fascist” is gaslighting of the first order — a lame projection of its own desire to build a coercive one-party state.

Ukraine War Blows Up EU’s Superpower Delusion

The leaders of France, Germany and Italy have jointly visited Ukraine in an attempt to present a unified European front regarding the Russia-Ukraine war. The one-day visit was long on rhetoric but short on substance: European unity remains elusive.

When Russian President Vladimir Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine on February 24, the European Union responded the following day with a package of unprecedented economic sanctions aimed at isolating Russia.

EU Looking to Push ‘Anti-White‘ Policies Using Equalities Report

An elected representative within the European parliament has derided elements within a draft equalities report which he claims will be used by the bloc to push “anti-white racist policies”.

A draft report on “racial justice, non-discrimination and anti-racism” within the European Union contains elements that will be used by the bloc to push “anti-white” policies, an elected representative within the EU’s parliament has claimed.

European Union’s Border-Protection System Now A Tourism Agency for Migrants

The pro-migrants lobby inside the European Union has won: Fabrice Leggeri, director-general of Frontex, the European agency tasked with guarding the EU’s borders, was forced to send a letter of resignation on April 28, 2022. His resignation was accepted by the board.

Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, was created in 2004 to help EU member states and countries associated with the Schengen area — countries allowing passport-free movement between them — to protect the EU’s external borders.

In 2021, Frontex had a budget of 544 million euros (half a billion dollars) and employed 1,000 European officials. By 2027, their number (coast guards and border guards) will increase tenfold. There are also plans that the European coast guards will be armed.

‘EU Empire‘: Army, Centralised Brussels Powers Approved by Conference

The Conference on the Future of Europe has approved measures calling for the establishment of a European Union army and centralising power in the hands of Brussels eurocrats on Saturday.

The Conference, which was established last year to supposedly add more democratic voices to the way the EU operates through the addition of supposed ‘citizens panels’, has been criticised for doing the exact opposite.

I see a great big Russia.

EU-China Relations: “Downward Spiral”

A much-anticipated EU-China Summit, the first since 2020, has ended as both a failure and a success: a failure because the two sides were unable to agree on anything of bilateral importance; a success because after years of kowtowing to China, European officials finally stood their ground. EU-China relations are now on a new footing: Beijing no longer calls the shots.

EU-China relations have long been on a downward trajectory due to a panoply of disputes, including the worsening human rights situation in China, Beijing’s spreading of disinformation to cover up the origins of the coronavirus pandemic, China’s unfair trade practices, and its economic bullying of EU member states.
