A majority of Canadians oppose government efforts to stigmatize and punish individuals who refuse to get vaccinated against COVID-19, according to in-house government research.
As first reported by Blacklock’s Reporter, Privy Council research revealed that any domestic vaccination passport system was very unpopular among Canadians – including individuals who chose to be vaccinated.

This is the moment a fearless woman entered an Argentinian ice-cream parlour in her undies because she wanted to use her dress as a face mask to be served.
The bizarre scene was filmed in the city of Godoy Cruz in the western Argentine province of Mendoza at around 10.40pm on January 1.
In the CCTV footage, a father and his three daughters are seen approaching the counter to place their order as the woman enters the parlour, apparently in her undies.

DETROIT (AP) — A couple of months ago, a woman paid a visit to Jeff Schrier’s used car lot in Omaha, Nebraska. She was on a tight budget, she said, and was desperate for a vehicle to commute to work.
She was shown three cars priced at her limit, roughly $7,500. Schrier said the woman was stunned.
″‘That’s what I get for $7,500? ’” he recalled her saying. The vehicles had far more age or mileage on them than she had expected for something to replace a car that had been totaled in a crash.
The woman eventually settled on a 2013 Toyota Scion with a whopping 160,000 miles on it. Schrier isn’t sure he made any profit on the deal. “We just helped her out,” he said.
Ontario is moving schools online for at least two weeks, temporarily closing indoor dining and gyms and pausing non-urgent medical procedures as it faces record-high case counts that, according to public health officials, threaten to overwhelm the province’s health-care system.
Premier Doug Ford announced the changes at a morning news conference Monday. He was joined at the announcement by his ministers of health, education and finance, as well Ontario’s chief medical officer of health and the CEO of Ontario Health.

Ontario premier to make announcement after cabinet mulls stricter public health measures
Ontario Premier Doug Ford is scheduled to make an announcement Monday, one day after his cabinet met to consider imposing additional public health measures in response to an unprecedented increase of COVID-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
You’ll be able to watch the 11 a.m. ET news conference in this story. Ford’s office says he will be joined by Health Minister Christine Elliott and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore. The CEO of Ontario Health, which oversees the province’s health system, is also scheduled to be in attendance.
The fullness of time and now the Omicron wave have made it obvious how preposterous the chief lines of criticism against Donald Trump were during the pandemic.
It has been said, over and over, that Trump almost single-handedly killed Americans. MSNBC host Chris Hayes a couple of months ago called for a truth-and-reconciliation-commission-type inquiry into how the former president “willfully got hundreds of thousands of people killed.” Willfully!
During one of the 2020 presidential debates, Joe Biden said of Trump, “Anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America.”
Why, then, does Biden get to stay in office? Tragically, more people died of the coronavirus in 2021 than in 2020. Indeed, if you simply look at the progression of cases and deaths in the United States over time, you’d have no idea that a new president took office in January 2021.
The Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital’s Women’s Health Program has temporarily suspended labour and delivery services because of “staffing challenges.”
Although an estimated 12% to 38% of prescriptions are written for FDA-approved drugs used “off-label” (including Botox and Viagra), Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, declared early on that providers should dispense only medicines proven to be safe and effective for COVID patients through “randomized, placebo-controlled trials.” These can take months or years to conduct, and often at great cost.
The announcement from CHU de Québec-Université Laval comes as the province faces a spike in COVID-19 patients in hospital, with 1,231 people hospitalized with the virus as of Sunday.
