The unidentified woman was filmed using purple spray paint on Tuesday to deface the bust of York at Mount Tabor Park in Portland, Willamette Week reports.

I think Canada is worth celebrating. I think Canada is a great historical achievement. It is a country that people all around the world seek to join as new Canadians. It is an imperfect country but it is still a great country, just as John Macdonald was an imperfect man, but was still a great leader. If we want to get into cancelling every figure in our history who took positions on issues at the time that we now judge harshly, and rightly, in historical retrospect, then I think almost the entire founding leadership of our country gets cancelled.

Although cancel culture clowns have done their best to personify a woke Wayback Machine that sifts through people’s pasts, making bigotry accusations and blackface scandals almost ubiquitous now, true “racism” is a serious allegation. So when somebody exposes entertainment as a “minstrel show” that’s “kind of like blackface,” we shouldn’t take it lightly.
Watching the raucous crowd slam-dancing in their Mohawks in the mosh pit at the Electric Banana in Pittsburgh’s Oakland section in the early 1990s, one might not have envisioned punk-rockers taking the lead against the bullies of the 2020s — that is, against the woke warriors of the cancel culture. But so they are. Punk-rockers have always rebelled against the status quo, not giving a rip what anyone thinks about them or what they say. The wokesters, on the other hand, are obsessed with what you think and say, and if they don’t like it, they throw a hissy fit and shut you down.
Punkers are the ultimate nonconformists. Liberals, by contrast, are the ultimate conformists. They tout diversity, but no group blows with the wind like progressives; in fact, that’s the very essence of progressivism, to progress along with the fads and fashions of society at large. And as they float along with the zeitgeist, they torpedo any resisters.

The idea behind the “Resign for Diversity” campaign is simple: if you are a woke white person who believes we need to overhaul all of society to eliminate merit on the basis of racial “equity,” then you can be the first to show your devotion by quitting your job and giving it to a person you think is oppressed.
There hasn’t been a police department more brutalized in recent memory. In Seattle, cops have been pummeled by a psycho city council. It’s not shocking. Seattle is left-wing. The residents are left-wing. They’re all nuts. The mayor allowed armed leftists to seize portions of the city. The ‘summer of love’ came crashing down when—shocker—people started to get shot and killed inside the autonomous zone. They have hamstrung the police and spit in their faces. After a summer of riots and not being allowed to restore order, along with an overall anti-police atmosphere, are we shocked that scores of cops have fled Seattle? Around 20 percent of the police force has left.
Less police = more crime, including gun crime. More gun crime will be considered justification for national gun confiscation. It’s all coordinated.
