Not the 51st state but a vassal state: What Donald Trump’s national security strategy envisions for Canada

Yes, the signals emerging from Donald Trump’s White House have appeared at times to be petulant, contradictory, scattershot, or simply shot from the hip.

But be assured, or disturbed, that there is a coherent strategy — or at least an official 29-page paper bearing that name.

Released online late on Thursday night, the 2025 National Security Strategy is a document the occupant of the Oval Office is required by law to deliver to Congress each year.

We already are a vassal state.

10,000 CBSA removal warrants active for more than one year

OTTAWA — More than 10,000 removal warrants in the Canada Border Services Agency inventory have been active for more than a year — even though the agency says removals are at an all-time high.

CBSA statistics show more than 33,000 removal warrants in the current inventory. Agency vice-president Aaron McCrorie said more than 22,000 people have been removed from the country in the last 12 months.

The CBSA says nearly 30,000 removals were “in progress” as of Oct. 31.

McCrorie said the CBSA processes a “never-ending” stream of people entering the country, including citizens returning from abroad, tourists and asylum seekers.

Sorry but I just do not expect honesty from any Canadian government agency. Lying is what they do.

Media frets over Afghans and dead narcos

Not so much Specialist Sarah Beckstrom and Sergeant Andrew Wolfe

The New York Times had another heart-breaking story about poor scared immigrants worried that the mean old ICE will send them back. This time, the concerns are by legal aliens who are from Afghanistan.

Biden brought them to America by the thousand in his frenzy to surrender Afghanistan a month ahead of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. There was no way he was going to patiently negotiate with the Taliban for a peaceful transition of power.

JAY GOLDBERG: Mark Carney almost gives B.C. dangerous leverage over national pipeline

Prime Minister Mark Carney came dangerously close to handing British Columbia a de facto veto over a national pipeline and calling it “co-operative federalism.”

Canada urgently needs a new oil pipeline from Alberta to the West Coast. This pipeline would play a crucial role in diversifying Canada’s economy by giving Canada access to Asian buyers instead of relying almost entirely on the United States, where Alberta crude often sells at a discounted price compared with global markets.

China’s Social Credit System Being Forced on the World

Totalitarianism is growing at a terrifying speed in what was once considered the free world. “Digital identification” (digital ID) is now being pushed by world leaders, the World Economic Forum, and the tech billionaire set.

Although this rollout has the potential to affect negatively everyone on the planet, the media, instead of reporting it, seems happy distracting the public with a Gaza obsession; unserious culture wars over wokeness, transgenderism, “climate change” and so on.

WARMINGTON: Turns out Scott Youmans can fly Canadian flag at Nathan Phillips Square afterall

Count this as a victory for Canadian patriot Scott Youmans and his Canadian flag displayed at Toronto City Hall.

Some credit also has to go to Mayor Olivia Chow and the City of Toronto as well for recognizing the incident, in which security and staff approached Youmans in Nathan Phillips Square on Nov. 28 to articulate that there was a bylaw infraction for him having his maple leaf Canadian flag, was not in keeping with what the rules actually are.

From Full-Size To Fun-Size: Trump Gives Kei Cars The Green Light

President Donald Trump has told federal auto regulators to clear the path for the production and sale of kei vehicles in America, following his recent trip to Asia, where he saw pint-sized cars flooding the streets.

During a White House announcement on Wednesday, where he rolled back Biden-era fuel economy mandates, Trump described the cars as reminiscent of the classic Volkswagen Beetle.

“If you go to Japan, where I just left, and if you go to South Korea and Malaysia and other countries, they have a very small car—sort of like the Beetle used to be with the Volkswagen—they’re very small, they’re really cute, and I said, ‘How would that do in this country?’” Trump said in a clip reposted by X user Acyn, while he was flanked by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and auto executives from Ford and Stellantis.
