It isn’t possible to hate this evil man too much.

Rapidly changing global events make clear that Canadians are now paying a steep price for the lost decade of economic growth under the government of former prime minister Justin Trudeau.

Where the previous Liberal government should have focused on making Canada an energy superpower by expanding our energy infrastructure, given our vast oil and natural gas resources, it instead downplayed them, using the ridiculous argument that the age of fossil fuels was ending.

A left‑wing extremist group has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Berlin power plant. What drives such an attack, and how serious a threat does this radical network pose?

According to security authorities, the assault on a gas power station in southwest Berlin was carefully planned. On Saturday, January 3, 2026, attackers deliberately destroyed cables using incendiary devices. The consequences were severe: cold apartments, dark streets, disrupted rail lines and widespread internet outages.

Of the 45,000 households initially affected, two-thirds were still without electricity on Monday. Because of the extensive damage, repairs are expected to continue until Thursday.

As a regime propaganda outlet DW plays down left-wing extremism always.

They are active in the state’s effort to criminalize support for the AfD.

IRCC halts settlement program for foreign entrepreneurs, says it ‘stopped working as intended’

The Immigration Department has shelved a settlement program for foreign entrepreneurs that has faced accusations of misuse and has processing times of more than 10 years. The sudden move prompted calls for an immediate replacement to prevent innovators from taking their ideas to Europe or the U.S instead.

Ottawa established the Start-up Visa Program in 2013 to boost job creation, but suddenly halted the program in late December, saying it was subject to misuse. The government has said it’s looking at establishing an alternative with stricter rules for who can participate.

Misuse? You mean criminal scam.

After Donald Trump’s audacious attack on Venezuela, the prospect of American incursion into the Arctic territory, long mooted, seems more plausible

Delivering his state of the union speech last year, President Trump ruminated about the seizure of more than 800,000 square miles of territory from a Nato ally.

The “incredible people of Greenland”, he told Congress in March, had every right to determine their own future, and if they were to decide that this future lay within the United States, so much the better.

“We need it, really, for international world security,” Trump added. “One way or the other, we’re going to get it.”

I suspect a lot of  TDS is motivated by the fact Trump reminds entire nations they are unable to police their own streets.

Woman is shot DEAD by ICE after ‘trying to run officers over in act of domestic terrorism’

A woman has been shot and killed by ICE in what Homeland Security says was an act of ‘domestic terrorism.’

The unidentified woman was shot after allegedly trying to ram officers with her car ‘in an attempt to kill them’ during ICE’s operations in Minneapolis, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Mail in a statement.

DHS said she ‘weaponized her vehicle’ while ‘attempting to run over our law enforcement officers.’

Why This Economist Believes Canada Is Headed for a 1990s-Style Debt Crisis

Canada is heading into a period of higher debt that could exhaust the federal government’s taxation and borrowing capacity, reduce its credit rating, and trigger a financial crisis similar to the one seen in the 1990s, according to Simon Fraser University economics professor Herbert Grubel.

“You can’t pile on debt forever. There must be a critical point at which people who are lending you money say, ‘we don’t trust that you can repay it,’ and you get into a crisis,” Grubel told The Epoch Times.

Grubel recently warned in a recent Financial Post op-ed that Canada is heading into a “1990s-style fiscal reckoning” due to unsustainable debt levels. He forecasted in his Dec. 4 article that if the trend continues, the government’s taxation and borrowing capacity will become exhausted and revenues won’t cover the cost of running the government and paying interest on the debt, and could even lead to bankruptcy.

The White House says Donald Trump and his close advisers are discussing options for taking over Greenland, as the US president continues to argue it would benefit his nation’s security.

His demands have been rejected by the island’s leaders and by Nato member Denmark, of which Greenland is a semi-autonomous territory.

Where is Greenland and why does it matter to Trump?
