CPharm International (ECI), a German research and development firm, has said it is planning a multi-million-dollar investment in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, with the aim of producing weed for medical purposes.

Following an unfortunate case of mistaken identity in late 2021, Vice media agency tracked down a German company, CPharm International (ECI), which has struck a deal with the Taliban.

A Year of Living Dangerously in American Cities

In the old days, criminals understood if they were caught there would be consequences.

In today’s urban America, if you are a thief, why wouldn’t you smash a glass door or glass display case and grab all the merchandise you could? Seriously, why wouldn’t you? In the old days you wouldn’t because you would be scared that you would get caught.

In the past, “smash and grab” robberies occurred, but it was a very infrequent occurrence. It was rare because thieves understood if they were caught there would be consequences, and even punishment, perish the thought! A criminal would have to raise bail to be released. If not, he would have to spend weeks or even months in the slammer.

The unpersoning of Donald Trump

One year on, Big Tech’s censorship of the then US president remains a democratic outrage.

A year ago today, Facebook indefinitely suspended Donald Trump. The sitting president of the United States was banned from accessing the world’s largest social-media platform, then boasting 2.7 billion users, and used by almost 70 per cent of Americans. Twitter, YouTube, Twitch – every major platform soon followed suit, issuing either permanent or indefinite bans. Even Shopify, on which the Trump campaign hawked t-shirts and bumper stickers, felt compelled to take part in this great digital purge.

Too Much Sense? Reuters FIRED Chief Data Scientist for Internal Memo on Pro-BLM Bias

“… After being disturbed by the pro-Black Lives Matter tilt of Reuters reporting and how it didn’t match the data on police shootings, Kriegman took a leave and then came back to the office with a 12,000-word essay on its internal website “The Hub” titled “BLM is Anti-Black Systemic Racism.” Uh oh! He called into question the entire sequence of claims by BLM and its backers on the Reuters “news” team.”

Jordan Peterson says Joe Rogan beats ratings of legacy media because ‘he doesn’t lie’

Canadian psychology professor and author Jordan Peterson responded to ratings numbers showing that Joe Rogan’s podcast has more than triple the number of views of legacy media prime-time shows such as The Rachel Maddow Show and Tucker Carlson Tonight.

In response to Q3 media ratings posted to Twitter, Peterson argued that the reason Rogan’s show beats cable talk shows in the ratings is because he “doesn’t lie.”

Nolte: Golden Globes Won‘t Even Stream This Year

With the announcement that there will not even be a streaming presentation this year, the collapse of the Golden Globes is complete.

In just one year, what had been the most prestigious movie award show, second only to the Oscars, is now a Big Nothing. Hollywood’s Woke and Social Justice Nazis went to town on the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) over diversity issues last year, and now it’s an asterisk barely hanging on.

‘I don’t understand why he is still in Canada,’ judge says after sentencing violent criminal offender “refugee” Mohammed Al-Samaneh

A Niagara judge has questioned why a violent criminal, who had amassed more than 40 convictions since arriving in Canada from Syria, is still in the country.

“He has lived a life in Canada of persistent criminality,” Judge Joseph De Filippis said in Ontario Court of Justice in St. Catharines Thursday.

“As an aside, and respectfully, I don’t understand why he’s still in Canada. He is not a Canadian citizen, he’s a permanent resident, and there are rules around permanent residents who commit crimes.”

Mohammed Al-Samaneh, who originally came to Canada as a refugee, has 44 criminal convictions for multiple offences including assault and forcible confinement. His name is on the National Flagging System which identifies high-risk, violent offenders.

Newly discharged conscripts to hand back items including socks and bras, to be washed and reused

Norwegian conscripts are to return their underwear after completing military service for the next recruits, as the army struggles with dwindling supplies due to Covid.

Exposing the Lie of Israel Apartheid

Last month the UN General Assembly re-affirmed its implacable hostility to one of its own member states. It voted overwhelmingly — 125-8, with 34 abstentions — to fund an unprecedented permanent Human Rights Council (UNHRC) commission of inquiry (COI) into allegations of war crimes and human rights abuse by Israel. Taxpayers’ funds will pay an eyewatering $5.5 million budget in the first year alone, well over twice that of the UNHRC commission investigating the Syrian civil war.

No guarantee of new Maxwell trial after juror’s revelations, experts say

NEW YORK, Jan 7 (Reuters) – The possible failure of a juror in Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial to disclose that he was a victim of sexual abuse may not be enough to overturn the British socialite’s sex trafficking conviction and warrant a new trial, legal experts said on Thursday.

Maxwell, 60, was convicted last week on sex trafficking and other charges for recruiting teenage girls to have sexual encounters with Jeffrey Epstein. Her lawyers asked for a new trial after the juror told Reuters and other news outlets that he shared his experience of sexual abuse during deliberations.
