NeverTrump Republicans Just Can’t Let Go of Trump

Basking in progressive praise – while demonizing Trump supporters as a “cult.”

The Congressional show-trial disguised as a House committee investigation of the January 6 “insurrection” serves several partisan purposes. Most obviously, it attempts to distract the voters from Joe Biden’s and the Dem’s dismal record of failure both at home and abroad. But it’s also useful for NeverTrump Republicans who may find it difficult to attack President Trump given how starkly Biden’s failures contrast with the policy successes of their bête orange.

Critical race theory, transgenderism and ‘diversity, equity and inclusion’ are destroying our military

Military recruitment in the United States is way down at the same time as the Biden Administration is driving out so-called “White supremacists” (anybody who voted for Trump or believes in the Constitution), those opposed to taking the COVID vaccine due to religious or health concerns or natural immunity, and people who refuse to use the preferred pronouns of gender activists. The result of all this is a neutered and divided military increasingly unable to fight and win wars.

Will you catch Monkeypox?

Superforecasters predict how far it will spread

Just as we were starting to put the two years of the pandemic behind us, the last thing anyone wanted to hear was that a new infectious disease was spreading unexpectedly. Yet this is exactly what has happened: towards the end of April 2022, cases of the viral disease monkeypox were detected in several countries around the world. By the end of May, 57 people had been diagnosed with the disease in the UK, and another 100 around 14 different countries.

Prince Charles has got to go

There are few better adverts for a republic right now than our future king.

Prince Charles, the one-man constitutional crisis, is making headlines again.

The Sunday Times has revealed that our future head of state gave a title to businessman Lord Brownlow in 2018, after Brownlow had bought 11 houses in Charles’ failed eco-town project in Knockroon, Scotland. Between 2012 and 2017, Brownlow’s Havisham Properties kindly spent £1.7million purchasing the unwanted residences. Such generosity from Brownlow is perhaps to be expected. This, after all, is the same Brownlow who helped fund the redecoration of Boris Johnson’s Downing Street flat, and, if reports are to be believed, was being sounded out as a donor for a £150,000 treehouse for the prime minister’s son. It seems that Brownlow is there to help the powerful continue to live their lives of absurd luxury. Quite what Baron Brownlow of Shurlock Row, CVO DL gets out of this is unclear.

‘I would’ve left her alone if she hadn’t been parading her new abs in a fashion magazine’

Jordan Peterson doubles down on Elliot Page criticism that got him banned from Twitter and claims transgender star is ‘converting’ kids

Conservative author and psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson doubled down on his attack on Elliot Page, claiming Hollywood’s biggest transgender star was ‘converting’ children by posing for pictures with his abs.

Peterson, who was suspended from Twitter after saying Page had his breasts removed by a ‘criminal physician,’ reiterated his statement on Friday and said he needed to speak up following Page’s shirtless show on Esquire’s summer issue last month.

‘See, I would’ve left Ellen Page alone if she hadn’t been parading her new abs in a fashion magazine,’ Peterson told podcaster Kyle Kulinski on his Krystal Kyle & Friends show. ‘How many kids do you think she convinced to convert, one? A Thousand?’

Ellen Page is a very troubled person. The media will not be satisfied until she is dead.

Sources tell RFE/RL’s Ukrainian Service that the occupation authorities are telling parents that they could lose their parental rights if they do not acquire Russian passports and send their children to the designated schools.

Highland Park shooter tried to kill himself ‘MULTIPLE TIMES’

Highland Park shooter Bobby Crimo III reportedly tried to kill himself at least twice in front of friends – only for his father to allegedly block a concerned local who flagged his suicidal tendencies in a private Facebook message.

Former friends and parents have now revealed the lonely child experienced a ‘downward spiral’ and had attempted suicide and talked about overdosing.

A mother of two of Crimo’s skatepark friends, who asked to remain anonymous, said the 21-year-old used to come to her home often in 2016 and 2017.

Half of Canadians say the country is on the ‘wrong track’ to building unity: Nanos survey

More than twice as many people believe Canada is on the wrong track, as opposed to the right one, when it comes to becoming a more united country, a new survey from Nanos Research shows.

The survey, commissioned by CTV News, asked Canadians their opinions on whether Canada is on the right track to achieving two objectives: building a united country and creating prosperity for the future.

Half of those surveyed believed Canada is on the wrong track to uniting the country compared to 22 per cent who believe it is on the right one. Twenty-eight per cent were unsure.

New Cat Repellant

We ordered a concertina for my brother’s next hospice musical extravaganza.

Seems to be in working order.

Scares the bejeebers outta Xavier when I make it talk.

I’ll drop it off tomorrow.

Went for a drive to Hamilton today, bought some beautiful daisies.

A gorgeous afternoon.

Better go make up with Xavier.

I think I need a cat whisperer.
