His name is E. Legal

The mother of a 10-year-old rape victim told Telemundo on Thursday that her daughter is “fine,” suggesting that the media are lying about her daughter’s alleged rapist, 27-year-old Gerson Fuentes.

Fuentes was arrested and charged with first-degree rape on Tuesday after allegedly confessing to raping the Ohio minor, who reportedly became pregnant and obtained an abortion out-of-state.

Ottawa closes special Afghan immigration program to new applicants

Less than halfway to its goal of bringing 40,000 Afghans to Canada, the federal government is no longer taking new referrals for the special immigration program meant to prioritize former employees of the Armed Forces or Canadian government and their families.

CBC News has learned the government is processing the last of the 18,000 applications filled out by Afghans hoping to come here through the program. Advocates for refugees say the decision to wind down the program abandons Afghans desperate to come to this country.

Did anyone ever believe the numbers thrown round by the Trudeau government? 40K? 18K? I doubt both numbers. It’s hard to believe that many Afghans even with the inclusion of extended family ever “worked” for Canada.

If someone did work directly for Canada then we have to honor the agreement but not for their 40th cousin 17 times removed. This program sounds like it was deliberately built for abuse.

Majority say Canadian airport delays ‘a national embarrassment,’ avoiding travel: poll

Seventy per cent of Canadians agree the widespread delays at airports across the country are a “national embarrassment,” a new poll suggests, with nearly 60 per cent of people saying they are avoiding travel until the situation improves.

But the Ipsos poll, conducted exclusively for Global News and released Friday, found Canadians believe there’s plenty of blame to go around for the delays between airports, airlines, the federal government and even travellers themselves.

The Trudeau government wants you to become used to travel restrictions. It’s all part of the green-scam.

G20: Freeland claims Russian delegation are personally responsible for ‘war crimes’ in Ukraine

Don’t forget that the PMO had the press make up feel good stories about Freeland when this photo went viral.

Canada’s finance minister, Chrystia Freeland, has told Russian officials at a meeting of G20 finance ministers that she held them personally responsible for “war crimes” committed during Russia’s war in Ukraine, a western official said.

Freeland directly addressed the Russian delegation taking part in the meeting of the Group of 20 major economies, telling them on Friday: “It is not only generals who commit war crimes, it is the economic technocrats who allow the war to happen and to continue,” the official said.

Jan. 6 provocateur Ray Epps intends to sue people who accused him of working for the authorities

Ray Epps, the former chapter leader of an anti-government militia group who was filmed corralling rioters to the Capitol on Jan. 6 just before the violence erupted, said he intends to sue the public figures who accused him of working with federal authorities that day.

Epps told the New York Times that his life has been “hell” for the past 10 months as prominent members of the media such as Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Republican lawmakers, including Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, and even former President Donald Trump, speculated that he may have agitated people to storm the Capitol at the behest of federal authorities.

France’s Islamist Challenge: A Top Issue for French Intellectuals

On October 16, 2020, French schoolteacher Samuel Paty was beheaded by an Islamist zealot after showing Charlie Hebdo cartoons of the prophet Muhammad to his class. Some two weeks later, one hundred French “professors and researchers of various sensitivities” published the “Manifesto of the Hundred” in France’s foremost daily, Le Monde, denouncing French academia’s persistent denial of Islamism and its menace.

Cabal of leftist elitists orchestrating America’s cultural disintegration

Americans are right to be concerned for the future of our country, but it is not the economy that should most trouble us. The present economic woes will pass. Our economy is resilient.

The ticking time bomb which could bring an end to America as we know it is the cultural disintegration eating away at the foundation of our nation. The use of race as a tool of political manipulation is a cancer destroying the body politic. This disease is transforming our institutions into weapons aimed at us.

Biden’s mind-blowing Holocaust blunders recall a history of dumb remarks about Israel

President Biden just landed at Israel’s Ben-Gurion Airport. I don’t know what jetlag does to anti-vampires like Brandon, who have to go to bed before the sun goes down, but his opening speech on the tarmac at Ben-Gurion Airport was richly seeded with choice gold nuggets of Bidenism humor.

At the outset, Biden mentioned having met with Golda Meir, which reminded me of a whopper of the falsehood he once said of her and himself. But first, a quick summary of the best of the Bidenisms from the airport speech.

Where is the outrage over Telford?

Once again, fear of racism is leading to a muted response

When you think of child sex abuse scandals, you might think of Rotherham, Rochdale, Oxford, Newcastle, Keighley, or now, Telford. An inquiry found yesterday morning that over a thousand young girls had been sexually abused in Telford over generations due to systemic, wholly avoidable failures by police and local councils.

Economic reality is about to bulldoze the progressive agenda

… For years now, governments across the western world have found reasons to turn towards tribal politics. Be it relentless condemnation of western history as uniquely evil, genuflection to those who shut down railroads and tear down statues or prostration before the idol of identity politics, it has been a one-way capitulation to any grievance Twitter could muster. Reality is about to force a change from identity driven wedges and fanciful green economic policy dreams back to serious matters like money and jobs. The inflation tidal wave, coupled with a slowing economy is making our citizens poorer. A backlash against Canadian Liberals and American Democrats, along with governing elites in Europe is coming and will be a first-class example of “it’s the economy, stupid,” in action.

Satanic Secularism

Met Gala Bondage Mask With Rosary

The political consequences of turning to the dark side.

“It should not surprise the person alerted to spiritual realities that in an age of atheism diverse forms of the religion of Satanism have sprung up all over the world and are gaining followers at a rapid rate.” So wrote the late Catholic priest Vincent P. Miceli in his 1981 book, The Antichrist: The Final Campaign Against the Savior, recently republished by Sophia Institute Press, with observations about secularism’s evils highly pertinent forty years later.

Russian cyber threat worse than previously reported: CSE

Russia’s cyber operations following its invasion of Ukraine have “almost certainly” been more extensive than what has been publicly reported, and Canada is among the targets, the Communications Security Establishment said.

The CSE’s Canadian Centre for Cybersecurity said in a threat bulletin issued Thursday “the scope and severity of cyber operations related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine has almost certainly been more sophisticated and widespread than has been reported in open sources.”

Texas’s Season in Hell

The entire country seems to be swept up in the smothering heat of a long, blinding, burning Texas summer. It isn’t so much the climate—though it is that, too, and I have spent hours half-asleep reflecting on the fact that one day, should the slow creep of equatorial heat continue, everyone will eventually index the world to the same catalog of images I did growing up: dead earthworms baking on the sidewalk, melted asphalt clinging to rubber-soled sneakers, caution tape draped over schoolyard playgrounds with signs warning of second-degree burns.
