Dr. Fauci’s Legacy – Dr. Marty Makary on the public health risk of putting America’s fate in the hands of one doctor.

Anthony Fauci is ending his long and celebrated government career by being widely lauded for getting so much so very wrong on Covid-19.

Now 81 years old, Dr. Fauci has spent 38 years as head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health. He has been rightly honored for his many contributions over the decades, most notably during the fight against AIDS, for which he was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom by George W. Bush. But to Covid-19 he brought a monomaniacal focus on vanquishing a single virus, whatever the cost—neglecting the damage that can follow when public health loses sight of the public’s health.

Stars land in hot water over excess usage

Across a parched California, residents enduring a punishing drought are doing their bit to conserve water, taking shorter showers and packing their dishwashers efficiently to reduce waste.

However, some of the state’s wealthier citizens appear to be paying little attention, using vast amounts of water to keep pools filled and lawns green.

I get the impression that celebrities like our politicians expect to be lauded for their hypocrisy.

China punishes 27 people over ‘tragically ugly’ illustrations in maths textbook

Caucasian looking Chinese Commies Kids!

Chinese authorities have punished 27 people over the publication of a maths textbook that went viral over its “tragically ugly” illustrations.

A months-long investigation by a ministry of education working group found the books were “not beautiful”, and some illustrations were “quite ugly” and did not “properly reflect the sunny image of China’s children”.

Trudeau’s Canada allows euthanasia for a sick or disabled child, but punishes you if you get his “favorite pronoun” wrong.

Justin has tears for every occasion.

A society that cannot distinguish Hummus from Hamas

“… And he cries. Trudeau always cries. He cries in the mosque, cries for gays, cries for natives, always cries.

How is it possible then that the country that symbolizes “inclusion”, where laws are passed banning the cutting of cat claws in the name of animal rights, is euthanizing physically and psychiatrically disabled people, as well as those who feel lonely and a little depressed?

A moralistic country is a country in moral amnesia.“

Gas export plan to Germany out of gas

… Even though we’re the world’s fifth largest producer and sixth largest exporter of natural gas, Canada lacks the pipeline and Liquid Natural Gas infrastructure to ship LNG from Canada’s east coast to Europe on ocean-going tankers.

The most we could do is up our natural gas output slightly to the U.S. — where almost all of it goes — given that the Americans have the ability to do what we can’t.

The fact we’re a captive market to the U.S. means our natural gas has to be sold at a discount, costing our economy an estimated $9 billion annually.

RCMP head says claims of political interference after N.S. mass shooting ‘not based on fact’

The head of the RCMP has repeated her stance that she didn’t deal with political pressure to make firearms details about the Nova Scotia mass shooting public, saying government officials were simply “asking” and not directing — which is a “big distinction.”

Commissioner Brenda Lucki faced questions from the Mass Casualty Commission leading the public inquiry into the April 2020 mass shooting on Tuesday in Halifax, as well as from a lawyer for most of the victims’ families.

She’s a liar like Trudeau.

Who is the ‘Ukrainian assassin mum’ accused of blowing up Russian nationalist’s daughter?

It is a name plucked from obscurity and plastered on front pages around the world: Natalia Vovk, the woman Russia says blew up the daughter of ‘Putin’s Rasputin’.

The FSB claims she is a veteran of Mariupol’s Azov battalion turned spy, who spent weeks tracking Darya Dugina before planting 800g of explosives under the driver’s seat of her car on August 20 and rigging it to blow as she left a festival near Moscow.

But Kyiv has denied any link to the slaying, the Azov Battalion says it has no record of Vovk having served with them, and evidence that has emerged from social media accounts paints a picture that is at odds with Moscow’s account.

Naming Rotherham the ‘Children’s Capital of Culture’ is a sick joke

The council’s scandalous failure to tackle grooming gangs is in danger of being forgotten.

In 2025, a town in the UK will become the first ever ‘Children’s Capital of Culture’. Many people will be more than a little shocked to learn that, of all the towns in Britain, the government has chosen Rotherham for the role – the south Yorkshire town at the centre of Britain’s decades-long grooming-gangs scandal. Between 1997 and 2013, an estimated 1,400 girls in Rotherham were sexually abused by gangs of predominantly Pakistani men. All while the local authorities turned a blind eye.

Saskatchewan Demands Answers From Guilbeault After Feds Accused of ‘Trespassing’ on Private Lands

Saskatchewan is demanding answers from federal Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault after receiving multiple reports from farmers that federal employees are “trespassing” on their lands to test water sources.

Premier Scott Moe took to Twitter on Aug. 21 demanding Guilbeault provide an explanation as to “why his department is trespassing on private land without the owners’ permission to take water samples from dugouts.”
