Government abruptly suspends citizenship certificates issued under ‘lost Canadians’ law

The federal government has suddenly suspended a number of Canadian citizenship certificates issued to people around the world who became eligible for citizenship late last year.

In a notice emailed Saturday to an unknown number of people who successfully applied for and obtained citizenship certificates based on having a Canadian ancestor, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada ordered them to return their certificates pending a review of their files.

“The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I have information in my possession that indicates that you may not be entitled to hold a Canadian certificate of citizenship,” reads the notice signed Peggy Sun, registrar of Canadian citizenship.

Thousands March in Rome Demanding Mass Remigration

Several thousand people took to the streets of Rome on Saturday to demand remigration policies, stronger border controls, and increased deportations of illegal immigrants.

The demonstration was organized by the citizen initiative “Remigration and Reconquest,” which says it has collected around 50,000 signatures in support of a legislative proposal on immigration and migrant returns that it intends to submit to the Italian Parliament.

Military police directed to stop accepting sexual offence complaints

OTTAWA — Starting today, military police will no longer accept Criminal Code sexual offence complaints, in anticipation of passage of the Liberal government’s military justice system reform bill.

Bill C-11 will strip the military of its jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute sexual offences involving Canadian Armed Forces members committed within the country, and hand those cases over to the civilian justice system.

The legislation follows on past recommendations from former Supreme Court justices Morris Fish and Louise Arbour, the current Governor General

We do not yet know the full terms of the Iran deal but we know how President Trump interprets it. His achievement, as he sees it, would have come as a surprise to many of the war’s backers four months ago.

“Many presidents have tried to make peace with Iran,” he said on Sunday night. “All have failed before me.”

When an Israeli airstrike killed the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on the war’s first day, peace with the regime did not seem to be the end goal. Now Trump has not only made peace with the regime, he seems to have made peace with the idea that the regime is here to stay.

OTTAWA – The federal government says it is cracking down on what it calls a “low volume” of asylum claims made by foreigners arriving in Newfoundland and Labrador from a nearby territory of France.

Saint Pierre and Miquelon, an archipelago 19 kilometres off the coast of Newfoundland, is served by frequent ferry service.

Cheezus we can’t defend our borders from the most pipsqueak of threats.

Federal advocate warns Canada’s housing affordability crisis could take 1,000 years to fix

A federal housing watchdog is warning that Canada is building affordable housing so slowly it could take more than 1,000 years to eliminate homelessness and restore affordability for the country’s poorest residents.

In her annual report to Parliament, Federal Housing Advocate Marie-Josée Houle said Canada faces a shortfall of 4.4 million affordable homes and needs a dramatic increase in public, non-profit and co-operative housing construction to address the crisis.

Karmelo Anthony is not Rodney King. King, whose assailants were acquitted in 1992, endured a savage beating. Anthony, who is black, stabbed Austin Metcalf, who is white, to death at a high school track meet in suburban Dallas last year.

The guilty verdict rendered on Tuesday in Anthony’s murder case is now being assailed as an overzealous prosecution decided by an “all white” jury. Scenes outside the courtroom were reminiscent of the OJ Simpson trial. Unfortunately for Anthony, though, the facts in this trial were not complicated.

On June 12, 2026, Steven Spielberg publicly released his film Disclosure Day while on the same day the U.S. Government disclosed the third batch of declassified files on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) here.

I was fortunate to witness Disclosure Day on the movie screen merely a few hours after analyzing an actual UAP disclosure by the U.S. government. My conclusion is that reality is far more exciting than Hollywood scripts. Personally, I have a hard time enjoying the artistic freedom displayed in science fiction movies because their creators violate the known laws of physics. Yes, our understanding of science is incomplete, but this does not give us the freedom to abandon what we already learned. We can get pleasure by imagining a trillion dollars in our bank account but a reality check would restrain our imagination as long as we are not Elon Musk after the initial public offering (IPO) of SpaceX.

Yes, rioting is wrong, but what other options are left?

IF A country’s measure of success was importing high numbers of anonymous criminals from alien cultures who are hell-bent on destroying the society that they are packed into, Sir Keir Starmer, Sir Sadiq Khan and their supporters have exceeded every expectation.

The list of British casualties continues to increase thanks to Starmer’s human rights obsession, the most recent being the avoidable death of 18-year-old Henry Nowak and attempted beheading victim Stephen Ogilvie in Belfast. As Starmer, Khan and the Belfast mayor relentlessly push the public to accept yet more unvetted doctors and rocket scientists fleeing wars in France, police training encourages officers to treat the testimony of white victims with greater scepticism than that of non-whites. Henry Nowak paid the price for that madness.

The Carney government signalled for months that it would pass a law to protect kids from online harms, including by banning access to social media for those under age 16. What we got instead may be the biggest threat to free expression in decades: mandatory censorship of social media and AI.

The Safe Social Media Act, Bill C-34, aims to keep kids from signing up for TikTok and Instagram, which is bad enough since it means teenagers will be censored. While many parents don’t want their teens on TikTok, others believe their 15-year-olds are mature enough.

Terrified students are fleeing Belfast after homes were named on a rioters’ ‘hit list’ in the wake of an alleged knife attack by a Sudanese migrant that sparked days of unrest across the city.

Young people have been packing their bags and abandoning rented accommodation amid fears properties could be targeted in a wave of violence that has seen homes, businesses and vehicles set on fire.

Some streets in south Belfast’s student district have been left almost deserted as undergraduates head home, while others have sought refuge with friends after addresses circulated online.

The politicians and  elites pushing replacement migration should forfeit their assets,  be stripped of their citizenship and sent into exile.
