ISIS Calls for ‘Shoot, Stab, and Ram’ Attacks on Christians and Jews in UK

Islamic State has issued a fresh call for terror attacks across Britain, the United States, Europe, and beyond, urging followers to target Christians, Jews, and their “allies” in what it calls revenge for Israel’s ongoing offensive in Gaza.

In an online message titled O Zealous Monotheists, ISIS spokesman Abu Hudhaifa al-Ansari told supporters to “chase your prey… in the streets and roads of precious America, Europe, and the world. Break into their homes, kill them, and punish them by any means you can.”

‘Everything has gone great’: The imagined thoughts of Chrystia Freeland

For the second time in a year, Chrystia Freeland has resigned. Less than a year ago, it was Freeland’s resignation as deputy prime minister that set in motion the eventual departure of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. And now, just a few months into the government of Prime Minister Mark Carney, she’s quitting again by abandoning her new post of minister of transport and internal trade.

Charlie Kirk suspect’s alleged trolling is the latest example of mass violence as a meme

The bullet that killed Charlie Kirk came from a casing engraved with the nonsensical-sounding phrase, “notices bulges OWO what’s this?” For certain factions of the extremely online, however, it was an inside joke.

It’s a reference to a mid-2010s meme parodying furries, the online subculture who role-play as anthropomorphic animals. Three other casings featured inscriptions that invoke a mishmash of memes and video games, spurring Utah Governor Spencer Cox to conclude that the alleged shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was radicalized by social media and the “deep dark internet.”

MacDougall: We don’t yet know who Mark Carney really is

‘Elbows up’ turned into giving Trump a belly rub. It might be the right tactic but it’s not what Canadians expected.

Who is Mark Carney?

Canadians are entering their sixth month of Carney as prime minister, but it’s the next few that will define who he and this government want to be. Come December, we’ll know who Carney is and where he wants to go.

GOLDSTEIN: How Canada’s electric vehicle dream became a nightmare

Federal and provincial taxpayers are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to the future of electric vehicle production in Canada.

At stake is the future of up to $52.5 billion the federal, Ontario and Quebec governments have earmarked since 2020 to create an EV vehicle and battery supply chain in Canada from scratch — $31.4 billion or 60% coming from the feds, $21.1 billion or 40% from the provinces.

Inside the darkest reaches of Discord — where young men celebrate death

The online platform, frequented by the alleged killer of Charlie Kirk, is awash with graphic violence and breeding a new threat: nihilistic violent extremism

“DMs open if anybody wanna share some gore,” the anonymous account says in an online forum, buried in the depths of the internet.

Less than an hour later the user posts a video of a catastrophic road accident. A man lies unconscious against the wreckage of a car, surrounded by debris and blood. Next to him a young woman with long black hair screams. Her face is splintered in two by a cavernous wound. These are likely to be her final moments of life.

“Amazing that she [is] still screaming tho,” the user — identified only as Seb — writes.

The Liberal-Left is full of lunatics.

War numbers, the most powerful weapon against Israel

Those Zionist magicians have allegedly killed more children than there were in the Gaza Strip before the war. Just read the numbers we are being fed.

“65,000 is the number of Palestinian Arabs killed with certainty, 75 percent of whom were women and children. But we should start thinking about 680,000, because this is the number some scholars and scientists claim is the true death toll in Gaza”.

We are in Geneva, at the UN Palace of Nations, and the speaker is Francesca Albanese, Special Rapporteur for the Palestinian Territories. Any doubts have been dispelled about the 65,000 deaths in Gaza, “of whom 75 percent were women and children,” a figure that has been repeated since October 8, 2023, when Israel’s military response to the Hamas pogrom began. According to Albanese, a leading figure among Palestinian Arab activists, the number is on the order of ten times that number, before adding that the figures – any ot them – cannot be verified.

Carney government’s hate crimes bill raises questions about enforcement, right to protest

… Rob Dhanu, a lawyer and former B.C. prosecutor, said there are already laws against mischief and intimidation, and proving “willful promotion of hatred” when someone is displaying a terror symbol may require hate speech that would already be illegal under Canadian law. He also said allowing police to bypass a provincial attorney general might wrongly lower the bar for charges against speech, even if it removes bottlenecks when combating hate crimes.

We have plenty of laws already, these new laws are more about politics than hate and will be equally ignored or selectively applied like all the rest.

Iran Regime’s Long Game: Today Diplomacy, Tomorrow Retaliation

The Iranian regime has suddenly shifted its tone in recent weeks. It is now — sort of — presenting itself as willing to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Headlines have been dominated by announcements that Tehran is – maybe — prepared to allow inspectors back into its nuclear facilities, to resume talks with Western powers, and to abide by stricter oversight of its atomic activities.

At first glance, these gestures may seem like a breakthrough. Unfortunately, history demands a more skeptical reading. This is not a sign of fundamental change within the regime. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has made it clear that if biting UN sanctions are reinstated by the West, there will be no nuclear inspections. Iran’s willingness to “cooperate” is conditional and coercive. The regime is threatening to withhold compliance to pressure the international community into softening sanctions and granting concessions, all while seeking a carefully staged maneuver designed to buy time, regain breathing space, and prepare for a stronger counterpunch down the line.

China snaps up Australian canola after trade spat with Canada, sources say

SINGAPORE/BEIJING/CANBERRA, Sept 19 (Reuters) – Chinese state trading firm COFCO has bought up to nine 60,000-metric-ton cargoes of Australian canola, three trade sources told Reuters, after Beijing last month imposed preliminary anti-dumping duties on imports of the oilseed from traditional supplier Canada.

The purchases amount to around 540,000 tons, equivalent to about 8% of China’s total canola imports last year.

US forces strike third alleged drug vessel killing three, Trump says

President Donald Trump has said US forces carried out a “lethal kinetic strike” on a vessel which he said was trafficking drugs, and the attack killed three “male narcoterrorists” on board.

Trump said he ordered the attack on the boat, which was in the US Southern Command’s area of responsibility, after US intelligence confirmed it was trafficking drugs. It was the third such strike on alleged drug boats in recent weeks.

Trump’s statement on Truth Social on Friday said the strike happened in international waters. The US Southern Command’s area of responsibility covers most of South America and the Caribbean.

‘Sharp increase’ of known or suspected terrorists entering U.S. from Canada, FBI director testifies

FBI Director Kash Patel says there has been a “sharp increase of known or suspected terrorists” entering the U.S. through Canada.

He made the remarks during a U.S. house oversight hearing on Wednesday. Patel was responding to a question from Republican Congressman Kevin Kiley, who asked about the risk of terrorism posed by illegal border crossings.

Patel claimed that, since he rose to the helm of the bureau, there had been a significant drop in known or suspected terrorist crossings from the southern border, but a sharp increase from the north.
