Transgender nurse denies ‘staring at breasts’ at employment tribunal

A transgender nurse at the centre of legal action over trans women using female changing rooms at a hospital has denied claims that she stared at her colleagues’ breasts.

Rose Henderson, who was born male but identifies as female, also denied walking around in boxer shorts and repeatedly asking a female nurse if she was getting changed.

Henderson instead claimed that she only ever “sarcastically” asked a different female colleague if she was almost changed when she was in a hurry to leave work.

Perils of Ottawa’s Declared ‘Strategic Partnership’ With China Amid Beijing’s Hybrid Warfare

Recent statements from Ottawa that frame Canada as being in a “strategic partnership” with China land against a record of cyber operations, foreign interference, coercive finance, and alignment with other authoritarian actors. NATO texts, Five Eyes advisories, and U.S. trade negotiations will show how allies and markets are reacting to Ottawa’s words.

A clear course on Canada’s part requires definition, verification, and visible enforcement.

Are UK Police Taking Orders Directly From the Mosques?

Anyone who has visited the UK’s capital recently will know that the right to protest is alive and kicking. No matter how inflammatory the language, the Metropolitan Police are seemingly loath to intervene when it comes to the Islamic cause du jour. Back in June 2023, MET Chief Sir Mark Rowley insisted his force ‘cannot legally stop’ pro-Palestine protests. In November 2023, Rowley went further and defied government pressure to ban a pro-Palestine march, which was controversially scheduled for Armistice Day. Even after the synagogue attack earlier this month, the police refused an outright ban. Instead, in a statement on X, the MET urged the group to “do the responsible thing and delay or cancel their plans.” Starmer himself would go no further than imploring the protestors to “respect the grief of British Jews”.

John Robson: Mark Carney’s deficit exploding budget is elbows up, IQs down

Since I was last propelled years ago into the purgatory known as “the lockup,” where journalists spend budget day, have either process or contents improved? No. Instead they now insert a false stolen-land “acknowledgement” before even getting to the same old same old labeled bold and new. Which is especially troubling at this supposedly critical juncture.

The Attacks On Heritage And Kevin Roberts Are Really About Foreign Policy And J.D. Vance

Let’s get something straight about the civil war breaking out on the right: it’s not primarily about Tucker Carlson “platforming” or “normalizing” Nick Fuentes, or about Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts’ decision to defend Carlson, or even about the rise of antisemitism on the right.

The primary target here isn’t Carlson or Roberts, but Vice President J.D. Vance. And the people targeting him are Never Trump foreign policy interventionists who hope to destroy the MAGA movement and take back control of the Republican Party after Trump is gone.

The BBC has gone full Pravda in its war of lies against Trump

The Beeb’s wilful distortion of Trump’s comments on 6 January 2021 was a whole new low for modern journalism.

The BBC loves to pose as a warrior against ‘fake news’. Yet it now stands accused of pushing an entirely fake account of President Trump’s behaviour on 6 January 2021. That’s the day the Capitol building in Washington, DC was stormed by a rag-tag army of angry right-wingers convinced the election had been stolen from Trump. And last year the BBC showed footage of Trump telling the mob he would march with them to the Capitol and ‘fight like hell’. Only that never happened. The BBC made it up. It doctored the footage. This is beyond serious. These are Pravda levels of manipulation.

TDS Sufferer Pelosi: ‘Vile’ Trump ‘Worst Thing on the Face of the Earth’

Despite having no entry in the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), which serves as the primary reference for mental health diagnoses in the United States, Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a very real and serious psychotic obsession afflicting many millions of Americans – i.e., Democrats and Never Trumpers. This condition renders sufferers incapable of rational thought and perspective, and is marked by humiliating public displays of inarticulate rage, an inability to be civil to Republican family members at Thanksgiving, and kneejerk accusations of racism, Nazism, and fascism against Trump, his administration, and his supporters. There is currently no known cure for this tragic derangement. All we can do for the afflicted is pity them.

What a lunatic.

Majority of Ontarians say their province is heading in the wrong direction: poll

Just one-third of Ontarians say their province is heading in the right direction, according to a new Leger poll.

The polling finds that, despite Premier Doug Ford having an approval rating of 45 per cent, a majority — 55 per cent — of Ontarians believe the province is on the wrong track. Only 33 per cent say the province is on the right track.

“There’s been a shift in moods in Ontario. Ontarians are growing more pessimistic,” said Jennifer McLeod Macey, Leger’s senior vice-president of public affairs.

Daughter of man infamously shot by Dick Cheney gives VERY sarcastic tribute

The daughter of a businessman infamously shot by Dick Cheney could not contain her disdain for the late former vice president in the wake of his death.

Sally May Whittington, the daughter of businessman Harry Whittington, told the Daily Mail that her father being shot by Cheney in 2006 was an ‘unfortunate incident’ that defined her family’s public life.

Asked if she had any thoughts on the shooting following Cheney’s passing, Sally said: ‘We’ve been having thoughts on it since February 11, 2006.’

Bryan Brulotte: The Canadian Armed Forces are not systemically racist

This past week, Gen. Jennie Carignan, Canada’s Chief of the Defence Staff, tearfully apologized for what she called “systemic racism and racial discrimination” in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The intention was noble. Yet the sweeping assertion that the CAF is “systemically racist” demands closer scrutiny.
