Carved in Stone is ‘a storyteller’s guide to the Picts’, the people who lived in what is now northern and eastern Scotland over a thousand years ago. Produced in partnership with the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, it draws on the work of an impressive roster of archaeologists and historians. But the real selling point is that the authors are gamers, and the book is designed in part for people who want to roleplay as Picts in games like Dungeons & Dragons.
Insurrection Chic

Democrats now celebrate the very nullificationist tactics they once decried, embracing a neo-Confederate defiance of federal authority to undermine a president they despise.
Is Jeff Davis the Model?
Who is the real, or fictional, inspiration for the new insurrectionary wing of the Democrat Party?
The fictitious Hollywood insurrectionist, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, “James Mattoon Scott” (Burt Lancaster), who in the 1964 film Seven Days in May attempted to overthrow the presidency?

Terry Newman: Kent Monkman exhibit is guilt porn for woke white people

Winnipeg Cree artist Kent Monkman’s exhibition, “History is Painted by the Victors,” is now on display at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. It features 20 paintings that have been rightly called “racy,” “violent,” “radical,” “topical,” “lurid” and “melodramatic.”
‘The Age Of Disclosure’ Delivers

So, I watched the new UAP documentary The Age Of Disclosure, which you can rent on Amazon streaming. It’s not cheap — $19 to rent — but I highly recommend doing so. There is very little in the film that people like me, who have been immersed in this stuff, that is new — but it’s a great way to get the most basic information in a single place. You will note that all the people interviewed are senior government officials (e.g., Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Senators and Congressmen), top scientists, and others. In other words, not fringe weirdos or normies interviewed on History Channel documentaries.
In my view, you cannot watch this film and deny that the UAP thing is real, and therefore extremely important. There are many questions about what it is, where it comes from, and the meaning of it all. But at this point, it takes far more of a leap of faith to believe it’s not real than the opposite.

Australia: Nationwide alert issued after asbestos is detected in Chinese-made wind turbines across the country

An urgent safety alert has been issued at wind farms across Australia after asbestos was discovered in Chinese-made wind turbines.
The deadly material was first found in brake pads used in wind turbine tower lifts at the Goldwind Cattle Hill wind farm in central Tasmania.
WorkSafe Victoria and SafeWork NSW confirmed on Friday that white asbestos was also found at a number of wind farm sites.

BORG: All Rhodes lead to Oxford- Freeland is abandoning her constituents

Chrystia Freeland may still hold a seat in the House of Commons, but politically and geographically, she appears already gone. With her new appointment as CEO of the Rhodes Trust in Oxford beginning in July 2026, Freeland is positioning herself for a future far outside Canadian public life while continuing to occupy a taxpayer-funded parliamentary seat she no longer intends to defend or actively represent.
It is a move that feels less like public service and more like a carefully timed exit from accountability.
Prosecutors outed a confidential informant. Now, a Toronto judge has tossed ‘very serious’ charges — and two people are in ‘grave danger’
An individual has had their “very serious” criminal charges thrown out by a Toronto judge and has been told to immediately go into witness protection after the Crown inadvertently revealed their relative is a confidential informant.
It’s an error by the prosecution that has put both individuals in “grave danger” of being killed, Superior Court Justice Kenneth Campbell wrote in his decision released earlier this month.
This will inspire confidence in the judicial system.
Meet the DEI Judge Who Set the Chicago Subway Arsonist Free

Last week, Bethany MaGee, 26, did what countless other women in Chicago do: she got on the CTA’s Blue Line to travel across the city. Unfortunately, so did Lawrence Reed, a 50-year-old career criminal with at least 72 prior arrests. Initial reports said Reed was arrested 22 times, then 49 times. Regardless, he should not have been free to roam the streets of Chicago, and now an innocent woman is in the hospital fighting for her life.
Jamie Sarkonak: He was killed by Sikh extremists for serving Canada, and a tax-funded film is celebrating it

If you can find a way to watch the recently released Khalistani propaganda film Guru Nanak Jahaz, you might as well watch it. You paid for it, after all.
The film, which depicts the assassination of a Canadian civil servant by a Sikh terrorist as a heroic act of justice, has a “Funded by the Government of Canada” credit at the end. It was also supported by the B.C. government and gives special thanks to Conservative MP Tim Uppal and Liberal MP Sukh Dhaliwal. While the Liberals didn’t return a request for comment, a spokesperson for Uppal told me that he was not involved in the film and that the filmmakers did not communicate with him about the credit at any point.

Ontario’s legal cannabis stores are closing — because illegal shops allowed to thrive

When Canada legalized recreational cannabis in 2018, Ontario made a promise — to consumers, to communities, and to small business owners who invested their lives and savings into the new sector. That promise was simple: the government would regulate the market, enforce the law, and replace the illegal cannabis trade with a safe, transparent, and accountable system.
Ever get the feeling the whole of our “political class” is on the take.
WTF?
Let's discuss the topic of body hair on women. Not loving it means you're bigoted and transphobic.
Open your mind and explore the acceptance of hirsute females. Remember, a hairy girl is like embroidery on a gown. pic.twitter.com/4EUkvxptB2

TDS Now Resembles Orwell’s ‘Two Minutes Hate’

Some complain that “Orwellian” has become the most overused phrase in current political discourse, but I beg to disagree. Although George Orwell succumbed to tuberculosis — and perhaps political despair — at the age of 46, some 75 years ago, his characterizations of our political condition have never been more apposite — and more chilling.
Incarceration Works

Sergio Hyland seemed like the perfect advocate. Calling himself a “fierce, relentless, implacable abolitionist,” determined to end incarceration in the United States, Hyland had spent more than two decades behind bars before joining Pennsylvania’s Working Families Party as an anti-prison organizer. His criminal record only burnished his credentials: he had pled guilty to the 2001 killing of a 15-year-old and was later charged in connection with another homicide in 2002. Once he got out of prison in 2022, Hyland launched a website offering “speaking engagements” and “harm/de-escalation tactics” training, and he frequently appeared alongside Philadelphia’s progressive prosecutor, Larry Krasner. The two even shared a news release in April 2025 announcing the Working Families Party’s endorsement of Krasner, which the prosecutor was “honored to accept.” A week later, Hyland was arrested for murdering a 30-year-old mother of two. Police discovered a stockpile of illegal guns in his home. Now Krasner’s office will have to prosecute him.
Vancouver’s Drug User Liberation Front organizers challenging Canada’s drug laws

The two organizers of an illicit-drug compassion club in Vancouver, convicted this month of trafficking for providing members with heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine, are back in court challenging Canada’s drug laws as unconstitutional for depriving users of safer options.
Jeremy Kalicum and Eris Nyx operated for more than a year as the Drug User Liberation Front, buying illicit drugs from the dark web, testing them at university labs for fentanyl and other impurities, and selling them at cost to their 43 members.
