Firm says claim executive carried Nazi flag at Freedom Convoy is ‘absurd,’ threatens lawsuit
OTTAWA – Public affairs firm Enterprise Canada says it is considering suing the Freedom Convoy organizers’ lawyer at the Emergencies Act inquiry for making what it called an “absurd and despicable” allegation that one of its senior executives carried a Nazi flag during a Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa.
But Freedom Corp. lawyer Brendan Miller says he is protected by privilege from being sued and he wants two Enterprise Canada executives to testify at the Public Order Emergency Commission about the sighting of Nazi and a Confederate flags during the first weekend of Ottawa protests last winter.

A California elementary school is facing backlash from parents after promoting an After School Satan Club aimed at kids as young as 5.
The controversial club is slated to hold monthly meetings starting in December at Golden Hills Elementary School in Tehachapi, Bakersfield Now reported. It was created by the nontheistic religious organization the Satanic Temple — not to be confused with the Church of Satan — as an antidote to the evangelical Christian groups cropping up in public schools.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be honoured with a prestigious human rights award after taking a stand against “structural racism” within the monarchy, it has emerged.
The couple will receive the Ripple of Hope award on Dec 6 at a glittering gala ceremony that honours “exemplary leaders” who have demonstrated “an unwavering commitment” to social change.
The annual event is organised by the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights foundation, named after former president John F Kennedy’s younger brother, who was assassinated in 1968.
