Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick revealed on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime Thursday who the sole booer of his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos was, and why he considered it the “greatest honor.”
Lutnick described the panel he was on at the Summit as “basically a very left set of talks where someone said we need a new form of capitalism, which I think is another way to say communism. And then they let me speak at the end. Then I gave a three-minute talk. And I just talked about my op-ed.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent needled Canada over the prospect of an independence referendum in Alberta this week, as President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney are locked in a clash over Ottawa’s role in the hemisphere.
“Alberta is a natural partner for the U.S.,” he told conservative podcaster Jack Posobiec in an interview Thursday. “They have great resources. The Albertans are very independent people. Rumor that they may have a referendum on whether they want to stay in Canada or not.”

A Pew poll released about a year ago noted that just 37 percent of American liberals identify as Christians, versus 82 percent of conservatives and 61 percent of independents.
In 2007, 62 percent of liberals identified as Christian, so the drop, particularly vis-à-vis drops in Christian identification for conservatives and independents, looks Cyclone steep.
For decades, the world treated Greenland as a sentimental footnote in Arctic mythology rather than a linchpin in global security and modern technology. This was strategic negligence with real consequences.

Carney travelled to Beijing last week to reignite economic ties with China – Canada’s second largest trading partner after the U.S. He left with a deal reducing tariffs on some Canadian agricultural goods and a quota allowing Chinese EVs to enter the domestic market.
There is an unchangeable “truth” that goes with a Canadian flag draped over a Canadian soldier’s casket and hundreds of patriots standing on a bridge saluting that can’t be erased no matter how powerful the person doing the erasing may be.
Trump was definitely out of line, Canada’s troops were exemplary.

Until Europe wants to build a respectable military force instead of relying on American’s might, they can kindly, piss off.
ATO leaders posture boldly in words, but invisibly in deeds. They foolishly oppose Trump’s desire to protect America (and thus Europe) from Russian and Chinese nuclear missiles by securing Greenland for Golden Dome air defense.
It’s in stark contrast with the obvious fear NATO leaders have of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. For four years, NATO has been ultra careful to limit significant support for Ukraine’s valiant defense against Putin’s second invasion. Yeah, Putin scares them.
Yes, that’s what billion-dollar fraud schemes in Minneapolis, and ten-million-dollar fraud schemes in Lewiston, Maine, will do to how Americans view Somalis: not well at all. The latest opinion poll by J.L. Partners rank Somalis as viewed far more unfavorably compared to other immigrant groups. And that poll was taken as even more Somali fraud scandals are being unearthed almost every week. In Minneapolis, there is still much investigation to be done, and some officials think that what they initially thought was a one-billion dollar fraud may balloon into a ten-billion dollar fraud.
