Muslim extremists who threaten people they accuse of blasphemy must be targeted by counter-terrorism operatives, a landmark Government report will recommend.

Tackling so-called ‘blasphemy violence’ will be a key recommendation in the long-awaited report on Prevent, the Government’s flagship counter-terrorism programme, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

In Islam, it is considered blasphemy to depict the Prophet Muhammad or any members of his close family – and among hardliners, the punishment for such an act is death.

The American cultural establishment behaves like the Saudis when it comes to Islam.

A professor at Hamline University, Erika López Prater, showed a picture of the Prophet Mohammed in class. The decision sparked a storm on campus after students reported the incident and the university refused to renew the professor’s contract. The case took place during an art history lesson. The lecturer had shown images of two paintings of Muhammad from the 14th and 16th centuries.

Medieval works are considered canonical. The teacher had given a two-minute warning to the class beforehand so that observant Muslim students could choose not to view the material for religious reasons. The case was reported by the university’s Muslim Student Association, which described the lecturer as an “Islamophobe” in an email to staff.

Canada to repatriate British-born ‘Jihadi Jack’ from Islamic State prison camp

Muslim convert Jack Letts, who was stripped of UK citizenship, is one of 23 people who will return to Canada from Syria

Canada will repatriate the British-born Isil member known as “Jihadi Jack” along with 22 other citizens held in Islamic State prison camps in north-east Syria.

Muslim convert Jack Letts, 28, who had held dual British and Canadian citizenship, declared he was an “enemy of Britain” after travelling from Oxfordshire to Syria to join the Islamic State of
Iraq and the Levant (Isil) terror group as a teenager.

He begged to be allowed to return to the UK, insisting he had “no intention” of killing Britons, after he was captured by Kurdish forces in 2017.

Court rules Canada must bring back idiot convert Jihadi Jack Letts from Syrian prison camp because the Brits were smart and stripped him of citizenship

The ruling applies to four Canadian men who are being held in the camps.

One of those men is Jack Letts, a Canadian citizen who fled his home in England in 2014, when he was 17, to travel to Syria, resulting in the United Kingdom revoking his British citizenship.
His family says they have no evidence that he was a member of a terrorist group.

The jerk’s Dad was born here but Jihadi Jack spent only about 5 minutes in Canada his entire life. The Brits were smart and stripped the parasite of citizenship.

Jack’s parents were convicted of aiding a terrorist after being caught sending their little jerk money.

Jack Letts has told how he wanted to be a suicide bomber for Islamic State as he admitted fighting with the terrorists.

“I know I was definitely an enemy of Britain,” he told the BBC in an interview recorded in October and released yesterday. “I did what I did. I made a big mistake and that’s what happened. I thought I was leaving something behind and going to something better.”

The lawyer for six Canadian women and 13 children being held in Syrian camps says the federal government has agreed to help bring them home.

Lawyer Lawrence Greenspon says a “mutually acceptable” agreement was reached today with Ottawa to repatriate the 19 Canadians.

… Greenspon says that as a result of the agreement, the application from the six women and 13 children is being discontinued, but the case of the four men remains before the court.

If I’m not mistaken one of the “men” is Jack Letts, whose parents were convicted in the UK of aiding a terrorist when they sent him funds. The twit has no real connection to Canada beyond one parent being Canadian, he was raised in the UK and they don’t want him.

We should not be bringing such filth into our country. They are monsters who willingly joined a murder cult.

Art professor sues after firing over Prophet Muhammad images

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Attorneys for an adjunct art professor said Tuesday she is suing the Minnesota university that dismissed her after a Muslim student objected to depictions of the Prophet Muhammad in a global art course, while the university admitted to a “misstep” and plans to hold public conversations about academic freedom.

In her lawsuit, Erika López Prater alleges that Hamline University — a small, private school in St. Paul — subjected her to religious discrimination and defamation, and damaged her professional and personal reputation.

“Among other things, Hamline, through its administration, has referred to Dr. López Prater’s actions as ‘undeniably Islamophobic,’″ her attorneys said in a statement. “Comments like these, which have now been published in news stories around the globe, will follow Dr. López Prater throughout her career, potentially resulting in her inability to obtain a tenure track position at any institution of higher education.”

What a travesty.

GTA Convicted Via Rail terrorist argues psych report could overturn verdict

One of the men convicted in a high-profile terrorism case involving a plot to derail a Via Rail train wants access to a psychiatric report about his co-accused, arguing that its findings could result in him having his convictions overturned.

It’s an argument that has “merit,” according to Ontario’s top court, which is now weighing whether to turn over the report.

Raed Jaser and Chiheb Esseghaier were tried together and convicted by a jury in 2015 of a number of terrorism-related offences, though only Esseghaier was found guilty of conspiring to derail the Via Rail passenger train from New York to Toronto. Jurors deadlocked on that charge in relation to Jaser.

This is the sort of bullshit one comes to expect of our justice system.

Man arrested on suspicion of terror offences after uranium found at Heathrow

A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of terror offences after the discovery of uranium at Heathrow Airport.

He was arrested and released on bail as part of an ongoing investigation linked to the discovery of traces of the potentially lethal chemical element within a cargo package on Dec 29.

The man was detained under section 9 of the Terrorism Act 2006 when counter terror police swooped on an address in Cheshire on Saturday morning.
