It has triggered fresh concerns about the Prison Service’s handling of the Manchester Arena terrorist, who allegedly attacked three officers on Saturday with boiling cooking oil from a separation centre — known as a jail within a jail — at HMP Frankland in County Durham, which is one of the highest security jails in the UK.

It sounded as if she were talking about a kitchen renovation, not a matter of burning public interest.
