Half of Airline Pilots Who Crashed Planes Were Muslim

Passenger airline crashes are unusual, intentional ones are rare and intentional pilot crashes are virtually unheard of. Passenger planes are generally flown by highly trained airline pilots, many of them are veterans of their respective air forces, and they remain calm in a crisis.

That’s why there hasn’t been a single case of an American airline pilot deliberately crashing a plane and only one case of an airline pilot taking down a western plane with all onboard and that took place in 2015 when a suicidal first officer crashed Lufthansa’s Germanwings Flight 9525.

State’s largest mosque leader’s deportation fight takes dramatic turn as Trump admin scores major win

An immigration judge ruled Wednesday that federal authorities can deport the leader of Wisconsin’s largest mosque on national security grounds.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio invoked federal immigration law in June 2025 to determine that Salah Sarsour, the president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, could be deported because his presence in the United States could have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences. Government lawyers cited Sarsour’s decades-old convictions in Israel, including for throwing rocks at Israeli military personnel and attempting to procure weapons, in arguing that he posed a national security threat.

No Worries: Rotherham Man Explodes on Street, Determined to Be a ‘Household Accident’

Rotherham, England, in Yorkshire, seems like one of the picture-postcard British places that the lovely Labour minister insists never existed. You know – the Britain of black labs, warm ale, and pubs. The city of a little over a quarter million people has what looks like a quintessential center, but it quickly gives way to parks and open spaces that roll out into rural farmland beyond.

The city sits at the confluence of two rivers and has been a bustling settlement site since the early Iron Age and into the Roman occupation. It earned its Market Charter, or the legal right to hold markets or fairs, from King John in 1207.

Sunny Islam who raped women and girls to ‘teach them a lesson for being out late at night’ wins move to open prison

A rapist who violently attacked women and a teenage girl to ‘teach them a lesson’ for being out late at night is set to be moved to an open prison.

Sunny Islam, 38, who told his trial jury he was a practising Muslim, was handed an indefinite prison sentence for attacking three women and the teenager in a three-month reign of terror in London in 2010.

Now, at a parole board hearing held in private because the thought of a public hearing caused Islam ‘anxiety’, it was recommended that he should be moved to an open prison.

John Goddard: Mississauga ISIS supporters tried to slaughter entire family who knew too much

John Goddard: Mississauga ISIS supporters tried to slaughter entire family who knew too much

He had reddish-brown hair, unusual for a Pakistani, and freckles around his eyes and nose. In other ways, he conformed to one of the stereotypical profiles of the South Asian Muslim male. He was bearded, with a thin, almost non-existent moustache and a squarish, heavy-looking face. His body, even in his twenties, was taking on the pudgy shapelessness that would become characteristic as he grew older. He projected not exactly charisma but enough confidence and charm to hold sway over others, especially those younger and less emotionally mature than himself.

Sharia law ‘religious divorce’ fails to fly with Immigration and Refugee Board

A Canadian Muslim who tried to sponsor his Ethiopian wife for a permanent resident visa is out of luck because her “religious divorce” from her first husband under Sharia law isn’t recognized here.

Fetno Umer Kemo appealed a visa officer’s decision to deny Rahama Adem Abdi the document that allows foreign nationals to live, work and study anywhere in Canada indefinitely to the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. But the panel concluded that Kemo failed to establish that Abdi was “free to marry” when they wed in 2021.

Andy Burnham says there are ‘strong indications’ Iran is involved in RAF Fairford ‘terror plot’

Andy Burnham today claimed there are ‘strong indications’ that Iran was involved in the suspected terror plot near an RAF base used by the US.

Five men were arrested on suspicion of explosives offences and terrorism after the incident close to RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire on Sunday before being bailed.

The base has been used in recent months by US bombers to launch air strikes against Iran, a fact which has been at the centre of speculation about whether it was involved in the drama, including by tasking proxies to carry out crimes on their behalf on UK soil.

I wish they would be honest for a change.

In Dearborn, Michigan, home to the largest community of Arab Americans in the US, one industry has risen above all others in recent years: Yemeni cafes.

At the forefront is Qahwah House, a powerhouse in the burgeoning Yemeni cafe world with 32 branches open across the country. Three of those are here in Dearborn, with more on the way, and they attract people from near and far.

“We estimate that around 10% of our Dearborn business comes from Canadian customers,” says Mohamed Ahmed, marketing director at Qahwah House.
