Trudeau government claims it’s going to slash immigration levels …

OTTAWA — The Trudeau government will announce a dramatic immigration cut Thursday, reducing new permanent resident numbers by almost 100,000 in 2025 after years of consecutive increases to the country’s immigration targets.

Barring any last-minute changes, information obtained by National Post shows the government is planning to decrease permanent resident intake from 485,000 this year to 395,000 in 2025. It is then expecting to further cut intake to 380,000 in 2026 and 365,000 in 2027.

These so called cuts are Bullshit given the damage done and the numbers here already.

They’ll find some other program to juice migrant intake and pretend it accidentally got away when found out.

I’ve got good news for them: it’s not going to happen.

That’s not to say that separatism is dead. It ain’t. What is worth noting, though, is that it’s still stuck in the 33% range(opens in a new tab) where it’s been for decades.

National security cited as B.C. drone engineer’s devices seized

A B.C. Supreme Court judge has granted an extraordinary order to seize electronic devices from a former employee of a Lower Mainland company specializing in anti-drone technology — citing fears China or Russia might be trying to access military secrets.

Documents contained in a partially sealed civil court file detail a scene in early September in which nine people — including bailiffs, lawyers, and representatives of Burnaby-based Skycope Technologies — descended on the man’s home to seize laptops, phones and storage cards.

Skycope got the order against its former employee — known as XL — in a closed-door hearing where the company alleged the electrical engineer had handed a foreign competitor confidential information sought by unfriendly state actors.

In the last few weeks, an elementary school in Montreal’s west-central Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood has been mired in controversy.

This past weekend, 11 teachers were suspended for allegedly creating a toxic environment for students and staff that goes back to 2016. On Tuesday, their teaching licences were also suspended.

The allegations are the subject of a 90-page government report.

They’re going to tolerate us all to death.

U.S. Republican says Trudeau, not Trump, is NATO threat on defence spending

A U.S. Republican congressman is calling Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a “threat” to NATO’s stability and success, saying Canada’s defence spending and military contributions aren’t enough.

U.S. Rep. Mike Turner made the comments in an op-ed in Newsweek suggesting “Trudeau, not (Donald) Trump, is a threat to the stability and success of NATO” because of the country’s long-standing lag on a plan to hit the agreed upon target for members to spend two per cent of their GDP on defence.

Canada offers free benefits to Gaza refugees, details remain unclear

Gazan refugees arriving in Canada will receive free health care, language training, work and study permits, and other financial assistance, the Department of Immigration announced this week.

However, the department did not disclose the total cost of the program.

“Financial assistance will help Gazans meet their basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing as they arrive in communities across Canada and find jobs,” the department said in a statement. “More details about this program will be shared when available.”

Newcomers owe it to Canada to reject extremism

What do Canadians — permanent residents and citizens — owe to Canada regarding the politics of the “old country” conducted here?

With the astonishing allegations of criminal activity, including extortion and homicide — “well over a dozen credible and imminent threats to life” — made against the government of India by the RCMP, long-standing issues in Canada’s Sikh community were brought into the spotlight. But diaspora politics is a bigger challenge than any one community, as this past week also highlighted in regard to foreign interference by China.

That will depend on where the “newcomers” hail from.

Canada is a case study illustrating the import of incompatible cultures that have no connection to our heritage and traditions is a recipe for disaster.

Do not vote for those who wish to replace you.

Defending yourself and your family’s best interests does not make you a racist.

Many refugees seeking safety in Canada end up in shelters for months

Every year, refugees come to Canada fleeing war , violence and persecution. But their hopes for a smooth transition are often dashed as soon as their feet hit Canadian soil. Many find themselves sleeping on a mattress on the floor of a homeless shelter.

Khairiya Abdul-Mumin fled Ghana one year ago. She had no time to prepare or save money and arrived at YYC with $50 in her pocket and months of frigid winter weather ahead of her.

Canada must have a reputation as an easy mark. Why else would someone in Ghana choose to fly here as a “refugee”. Close the border.
