The rising violence of Irish rebellion

The rising violence of Irish rebellion

A volatile politics is taking to the streets

Fearing a riot, the Irish authorities yesterday evening shut down the Luas tram line from central Dublin to the suburban village of Saggart, southwest of the city centre. It didn’t work. Many hundreds — perhaps a thousand — angry protestors had gathered outside the gates of the Citywest IPAS (asylum) centre, hurling missiles and abuse at the Gardai public order unit blocking them from forcing their way up the long and wooded drive to the hotel.

The day before, an African asylum seeker had been charged with the sexual assault of a 10-year old Irish girl on the grounds of the Citywest centre, a 2,500-bed hotel recently acquired at vast expense by the Irish government, against fierce local opposition in the 4,500-strong community. The suspect, who needed an Arabic translator, was issued with a deportation order this spring and hadn’t yet been removed; the victim, in the care of Ireland’s scandal-hit Tusla child protection agency, found her chaotic personal circumstances publicised by the state in a manner many on social media saw as tantamount to victim-blaming. Outside the IPAS centre, the toxic combination had fired up both locals and protestors from across the country, who now had very little time for Ireland’s main political parties, or the police forces standing between them and the hotel they wished to storm.

Fake refugee in ICE custody barred from returning to Canada: CBSA

OTTAWA — A Bangladeshi man in U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement custody is permanently barred from returning to Canada, a Canada Border Services Agency spokesperson said.

Mahin Shahriar, a 27-year-old Bangladeshi national who had lived in Canada since 2019, said he inadvertently crossed the Canada-U.S. border in May and has been in ICE custody ever since.

In an interview from an ICE detention facility in Buffalo, N.Y., Shahriar said he believes he was led across the border in a human trafficking attempt by “a friend” who offered him a place to stay while he was dealing with mental health issues.

Migration Takes Center Stage in Dutch Election Battle

Dutch Deputy Prime Minister Mona Keijzer, speaking in WNL Op Zondag, expressed her deep concern about the decline of freedom in the country. She believes this is the result of failed migration policies and the growing influence of Islamic culture—an issue that has become a key topic in the upcoming Dutch elections, scheduled for October 29.

The leading member of the agrarian populist Farmer-Citizen Movement (BBB) also pointed out that Dutch comedians no longer dare to joke about Islam, fearing for their own safety.

Asylum seekers baptised in migrant hotel bathtubs

Migrants are being baptised in asylum hotel bathtubs by a Christian charity, The Telegraph can reveal.

Asylum seekers have undergone baptisms in taxpayer-funded accommodation despite concerns that Muslim migrants are only going through the process to gain asylum.

Carelinks Ministries, a registered charity linked to the minority Christadelphian sect, has visited hotels across Britain to conduct baptisms in migrants’ bathrooms.

I reported on terrorists at the northern border. Then the threats came … from Canadian authorities

During the Biden administration, I was on the front lines reporting on the northern border crisis and national security threats. Then the threats came from Canadian officials.

As the border crisis worsened, I broke multiple exclusive stories that were published by the Center Square. They included the record number of gotaways illegally entering the United States based on data obtained from Border Patrol agents under a gag order, comparing illegal border crosser totals to state and country populations, reporting on each of the 55 Texas counties declaring an invasion, and multiple Operation Lone Star task force operations targeting smugglers.

Russia and left-wingers ‘trying to flood Europe with illegal migrants’

Russian spies and hard-left humanitarian groups are working with people smugglers to flood Europe with illegal migrants, a Bulgarian minister says.

Daniel Mitov, the interior minister, said his government had evidence that Russia’s foreign intelligence service had direct links with the criminal gangs facilitating illegal immigration into the European Union.

He said Russian spies were helping people smugglers find weaknesses in the EU’s external borders, including Bulgaria’s border with Turkey, and were telling migrants how to exploit EU and UK asylum systems and avoid removal.

This is very plausible and applies also to Canada and the USA except they have a Trump and we have co-conspirators and fellow travelers.

Dutch towns rocked by anti-immigration protests ahead of election

Aalten, a little town of 27,000 people tucked away in the farmland of the southeast Netherlands, is the unlikely home of the Australian rock legend Angus Young.

Just over a decade ago, the AC/DC guitarist and his Dutch wife, Ellen, bemused residents by building a large neo-renaissance villa there — complete with a sculpted head with devil’s horns and stained glass decorated with a lightning bolt.

This year, however, the people of Aalten learnt of a rather more controversial building project a couple of miles from Young’s mansion: a housing complex for 300 asylum seekers planned for a farmer’s field on the edge of town.

EU States Push for Deportations of Illegal Afghan Migrants

Twenty European Union member states—including Belgium, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Hungary—have jointly urged the European Commission to take concrete steps to enable both voluntary and forced returns of Afghan nationals without legal residence status.

The initiative was announced on Saturday by Belgium’s Minister for Asylum and Migration, Anneleen Van Bossuyt, who warned that the inability to deport rejected or criminal Afghan asylum seekers “undermines public trust” and “compromises security.”

Catholic Churches Following Vatican as the Harshest and Most Consistent Critics of Trump’s Immigration Policies

A major driver behind President Trump’s re-election was the support he received from religious voters. However, the largest Christian denomination in the world has become one of the most consistent critics of the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

Despite Mr. Trump’s efforts to promote religious themes and maintain support among religious voters, one of his sharpest critics has been the Catholic Church, with harsh criticism coming not just from individual leaders or organizations but from the Vatican itself.

Illinois Released The Illegal Alien Accused Of Abusing My Daughter’s Body, So I Had To Report Him To ICE Myself

President Donald Trump is in an ongoing struggle with Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, with Pritzker seeking to slander or stymie every effort Trump makes to restore law and order in the streets of Chicago and in Illinois more broadly. That struggle for law and order is personal for me. My daughter died after allegedly being left unresponsive in the home of an illegal alien from Mexico, and Illinois’ politicians put him right back on the streets.

On Feb. 19, 2025, my daughter Megan, a vibrant 37-year-old and mother of two, went missing in Waukegan, Illinois, a few weeks after her release from jail on an old warrant related to her battle with addiction. To our horror, she was located, deceased, on April 10, 2025

Trump Considers Overhaul of Refugee System That Would Favor White People … Usual Racists Faint

The Trump administration is considering a radical overhaul of the U.S. refugee system that would slash the program to its bare bones while giving preference to English speakers, white South Africans and Europeans who oppose migration, according to documents obtained by The New York Times.

The proposals, some of which already have gone into effect, would transform a decades-old program aimed at helping the world’s most desperate people into one that conforms to Mr. Trump’s vision of immigration — which is to help mostly white people who say they are being persecuted while keeping the vast majority of other people out.

The Horror! The plans entail placing a new emphasis on whether applicants would be able to assimilate into the U.S., and to focus on Europeans.

Shahriar said he was struggling with depression and “a friend” offered him a place to stay for a few days near Montreal.

Asylum seeker ‘danced and laughed after stabbing woman 23 times’

An asylum seeker stabbed a woman who worked at the hotel he was staying at 23 times with a screwdriver, a murder trial was told.

Majek stabbed Whyte “over and over again” with a screwdriver, mainly to the head, left her “bleeding to death and then casually went back to his hotel”, Michelle Heeley KC, for the prosecution, told the court.
