Communist China tested a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile late this summer that circled the planet before taking aim at its target; a test that has stunned the Biden administration.

“Five people familiar with the test said the Chinese military launched a rocket that carried a hypersonic glide vehicle which flew through low-orbit space before cruising down towards its target,” Financial Times reported. “The missile missed its target by about two-dozen miles, according to three people briefed on the intelligence. But two said the test showed that China had made astounding progress on hypersonic weapons and was far more advanced than US officials realized.”

Father’s shock after son held over Sir David Amess murder

Harbi Ali Kullane, a former adviser to the prime minister of Somalia, confirmed that his British-born son, Ali Harbi Ali, 25, was in custody. Kullane said that anti-terrorist police from Scotland Yard had visited him.

Speaking at his sister’s home in north London last night, Kullane said: “I’m feeling very traumatised. It’s not something that I expected or even dreamt of.”

Ontario reported 443 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, as the known active caseload in the province hit its lowest point in more than two months.

The seven-day rolling average of new cases now stands at 465, down from 538 one week ago.

Blair ‘very confident’ federal vaccine passport coming by U.S. border reopening on Nov. 8

Public Safety Minister Bill Blair says he’s ‘very confident’ that Canadians will have a national vaccine passport in place by the time the U.S. border reopens for non-essential travel on Nov. 8.

While Blair said he always tries to “overperform and under-promise,” he noted that work on the federal proof of COVID-19 vaccination system has been progressing “very, very well.”

American Missionaries Kidnapped in Haiti, Officials Say

As many as 17 Christian missionaries from the United States and their family members, including women and children, were kidnapped on Saturday by a gang in Port-au-Prince as they were leaving an orphanage, according to Haitian security officials.

Details of the kidnapping remained unclear, but local officials said the missionaries were abducted from a bus headed to the airport to drop off some members of the group before continuing to another destination.

Glenn Reynolds has said for many years that putting children in public school is a form of child abuse. Events in Virginia’s Loudoun County Public Schools (“LCPS”) prove his point.

Earlier this week, the bombshell news was that Scott Smith, the father who, for the left, became the poster child for alleged “domestic terrorism” at school board meetings, was upset because the school board and superintendent were denying his daughter’s sexual assault at Stone Bridge high school, and refused to let him speak of it, after which an activist parent allegedly accused him of lying and threatened to destroy him. Now, Luke Rosiak, who broke that first story, is back with the news that LCPS has failed at least twice to record sexual assaults, despite being legally required to do so.

A former SS guard who worked at Sachsenhausen concentration camp near Berlin from 1942-1945 must now stand trial in Germany under tight security measures. It has taken 76 years for this case to be brought in front of a court.

When the accused appeared there last week, he cut a sorry figure as he laboriously pushed himself forward on his rollator with oner liver-spotted hand, while shielding his face from the cameras with the other. It is hard to believe that the frail, 100-year-old in the home-knitted jumper was once in the SS.

Chicago Art Institute Tells White Docents: We Don’t Want Your Kind Volunteering Around Here

I have many fond memories of visiting the Art Institute of Chicago, an art lover’s heaven on earth. With 300,000 works of art, visitors can easily get lost inside AIC. However, thanks to their friendly and knowledgeable docents, I was able to quickly find my old favorites and discover new art and artists during each of my past visits.

I was shocked to learn that AIC fired all of its 82 docents last month because most of them are white. Corporate media largely neglected to report the story, probably because it doesn’t fit a particular woke narrative.

New Navy Order: Unvaccinated Sailors to be Discharged, Could Face Financial Penalties

A new U.S. Navy order released this week says all active-duty Navy personnel who don’t get a COVID-19 vaccine by an upcoming deadline will be discharged—with possible financial repercussions as well.

The order applies to any sailor that is not fully vaccinated against the virus that causes COVID-19 by Nov. 28 and has not received a religious or medical exemption or has an application for an exemption pending.
