What does Patrick Brown’s disqualification mean for the Conservative leadership race?

Strategists say Patrick Brown’s disqualification from the Conservative leadership race gives a leg-up to Pierre Poilievre — but Jean Charest may still have a chance.

The Conservative Party has ejected Brown from the race, citing allegations that he broke financing rules. Brown denies those allegations and his campaign says it’s appealing the decision.

If the disqualification stands, Poilievre will have a clear shot at the Conservative leadership, said Conservative strategist Kory Teneycke.

Russian soldier says he was ordered to shoot civilians

KHARKIV — During his videotaped interrogation with Ukraine’s state security bureau, the injured Russian soldier looked nervous.

Only Charest can win says Charest!

Jean Charest: Conservatives have a choice, opposition or government

Trudeau and his Liberal government have lost their way. He rose to popularity on soundbites of sunny ways only to disappoint voters.

Canadians are frustrated and disillusioned by him and other politicians who act like him. His appetite for identity politics and far-left ideology has left too many Canadians behind.

Text messages said to be behind Patrick Brown’s ouster from Conservative Party leadership race

Multiple text messages related to allegations that led to the ouster of Patrick Brown from the federal Conservative leadership race have been turned over to Elections Canada to investigate whether the Brampton mayor knew that a corporation was paying someone in his campaign, sources say.

Details of exactly what was in those text messages have not been revealed by the party, but the sources say there was enough evidence to forward them to the national elections body. Canada’s elections laws bar contributions from corporations, unions or non-residents.

Shorter Freeland: DIE PEASANTS

Surging energy prices harmful to families, should drive green transition: Freeland

OTTAWA — Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said the federal government is absolutely concerned about inflation, but dismissed critics who called her callous and out of touch for suggesting the high cost of gas is a reminder of why we need to transition to greener energy solutions.

The Liberals are fanatics.

They are more than willing to sacrifice the economic well being, health and welfare of you and your family to their green-scam masters.

They will of course be comfortably cushioned from the new world order’s harsh realities.

They are no different than the people who ran the Gulags.

Stalin may as well be their mentor – “a single death is a tragedy, a million deaths are a statistic.”

Because that’s what you are to them a nameless number on a list.

When you’re convinced of doing the “Lord’s Work” there is no depravity too great.

Robert Crimo’s dad washes hands of guilt but talked with son about a mass shooting night before Highland Park massacre

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. – The dad of the accused Fourth of July parade killer told The Post on Wednesday that his son talked about a mass shooting in Denmark the night before launching his own massacre — and washed his hands of any guilt over how the suspect got his gun.

The father, Robert Crimo Jr. — who has tapped one of R. Kelly’s lawyers to battle claims he helped his mentally disturbed kid buy guns — said that the night before Monday’s shooting, he and son Robert Crimo III discussed the 22-year-old Danish man who shot and killed three people at a mall outside of Copenhagen on Sunday.

“He goes, ‘Yeah, that guy is an idiot.’ That’s what he said!” the dad recalled his son saying of the Denmark shooter.

The Exoneration Hustle: Are radical prosecutors freeing guilty murderers?

The headline is becoming more common: “Innocent Man Freed After Decades in Jail for Murder!” As a matter of statistical probabilities, it must be true that some innocent defendants are convicted. But experienced law enforcement officials are growing concerned that progressive prosecutors are freeing guilty murderers in their rush to enforce their own politics of decarceration and equity. A close look at how this exoneration hustle works is worth reviewing because the pattern becomes clear.

China: MI5 and FBI heads warn of ‘immense’ threat

The heads of UK and US security services have made an unprecedented joint appearance to warn of the threat from China.

FBI director Christopher Wray said China was the “biggest long-term threat to our economic and national security” and had interfered in politics, including recent elections.

MI5 head Ken McCallum said his service had more than doubled its work against Chinese activity in the last three years and would be doubling it again.

MI5 is now running seven times as many investigations related to activities of the Chinese Communist Party compared to 2018, he added.

A people’s revolt against eco-tyranny

From the Netherlands to Sri Lanka, people have had enough of the elite’s green hysteria.

If police were opening fire on protesters in a European nation, we would have heard about it, right? If there was a mass uprising of working people in a European Union country, taking to the streets in their thousands to cause disruption to roads, airports and parliament itself, it would be getting a lot of media coverage in the UK, wouldn’t it? The radical left would surely say something, too, given its claims to support ordinary people against The System. Cops shooting at working men and women whose only crime is that they pounded the streets to demand fairness and justice? There would be solidarity demos in the UK, for sure.
