Reminder: Hamas and the Palestinian Authority Do Not Believe In Any Peace Process

Any attempt to portray Hamas’s purported acceptance of US President Donald J. Trump’s proposal to end the war in the Gaza Strip as a sign that either the Palestinian Authority (PA) or the Iran-backed Palestinian terror group is now interested in peace with Israel is misleading and baseless.

Both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority are not, and never were, interested in peace with Israel. The only peace they envision is one that would see Israel eliminated and replaced with an Islamist state, preferably, each with itself as the head.

OMISSION: Legacy Sunday Shows SILENT About Virginia AG Candidate’s Murderous Text Messages

The legacy Sunday shows appear to have taken a collective vow of omertà regarding coverage of what would have been treated as an immediate disqualifier had a Republican done something similar.

The hosts of these shows shut out any discussion of Democrat Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones as he fantasized about murdering a political opponent and his family in a series of text messages.

Working but unable to afford rent, St. Marys woman moves into town’s first tiny home

A young St. Marys, Ont., woman has been handed the keys to independence and stability thanks to a charity that’s planning to open the first of many tiny homes for people at risk of homelessness.

The home is 490 square feet, but for Paige Noel, 20, it’s a big step toward getting established, all while staying close to her family. The tiny home was erected in her mother’s yard, as the nearby house is already at capacity.

“I never imagined I’d be able to have my own place like this,” Noel said.

FIFA demanding hands-off approach to protesters: Document

FIFA is requiring Toronto’s government, as a World Cup host city, to adopt a “non-interference” policy toward human rights advocates – a group that apparently includes protesters – the Toronto Sun has learned.

A 27-page list of “sustainability and human rights tournament requirements,” released to the Sun after a freedom-of-information request, is dated June 2023. The document says “protection of human rights defenders,” as well as freedom of the press, “is essential to a successful and rights-respecting delivery of the competition.”

Canada’s last hockey stick factory survives in face of tariff threats, globalization

BRANTFORD, Ontario (AP) — Wearing protective gloves and earplugs, a worker feeds lengths of wood into a machine that makes an ear-splitting whine as it automatically cuts a groove into the end of each piece.

Nearby, stacks of wooden wedges wait to be slotted into those grooves to form the beginnings of a hockey stick. Further down the Roustan Hockey production line, other workers are busy shaping, trimming, sanding, painting and screen printing as they turn lumber into a Canadian national symbol.

For centuries Britain was a bastion against anti-Semitism. Now we have imported it.

It’s the fact that it happened in Britain that is so disturbing. We can no longer tell ourselves that this is a safe country, a country that elevates civic order and religious tolerance, a country that leaves anti-Semitism, along with other forms of extremism, to excitable foreigners.

Until this week, British Jews had been spared the horrors visited on their co-religionists in even our nearest neighbours. France has seen stabbings at a Marseilles synagogue, children shot in a Jewish school in Toulouse, a hostage siege in a kosher supermarket in the Île-de-France, a knife attack on a Jewish community centre in Nice and hundreds of incidents of desecration, intimidation and abuse.

Like Great Britain Canada imported Islam.

Who thought inviting a cult that hates us was good idea?

‘Ghosted by the one who did the mastectomy’: Detransitioners face ‘detransphobia,’ study finds

“Ghosted”— ignored — by the surgeons who altered their bodies and ostracized by the communities that once embraced them, the largest study of detransitioners in Canada and the U.S. in decades is exposing a new form of stigma: detransphobia.

The survey of nearly 1,000 people suggests that many who halt or reverse a gender transition feel poorly supported by LGBTQ groups and gender-affirming care practitioners, and wish doctors “took a more neutral approach to care.”

Mourners banned from leaving flowers on graves over health and safety

A cemetery banned mourning families from leaving mementoes on graves after a “health and safety” assessment.

Plot owners at St Michael’s Church in Knights Enham, Hampshire, were “disgusted” to find notices warning that any items left on graves would be removed after a month.

A letter was left on every headstone in the graveyard on behalf of the Andover parish council, which claimed the policy was introduced to protect “the safety of the graveyard”.

Majority of Canadians support Canada’s decision to recognize Palestinian state, Nanos survey finds

A majority of Canadians support the federal government’s decision to recognize a Palestinian state, but many believe it could negatively affect trade relations with the United States, according to a new survey by Nanos Research commissioned by CTV News and the Globe and Mail.

Last month, ahead of a meeting at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Prime Minister Mark Carney joined a growing list of UN members to recognize a Palestinian state.

Chris Mason: Why protests have started a debate over ‘Britishness’

When a political party gathers for its annual conference, the host city (or at least the political and security bubble that surrounds the conference centre) becomes home to feverish and partisan political chat.

What is different about the next few days is Manchester is also a city in mourning after the horrific attack on Thursday.

There is, of course, still sharp political argument here but the emotional and practical backdrop is one of grief, fear and an ongoing police investigation.

This reads more like a list of reasons why multiculturalism has virtually destroyed Britain.

Related … Men jailed for violence outside Essex asylum hotel

Three men who pushed, punched and kicked police officers during protests outside The Bell Hotel in Epping have become the first to be jailed for the disorder.

Stuart Williams, 36, Dean Smith, 51, and Martin Peagram, 33, were part of a “peaceful protest that descended into serious public disorder” in the Essex town on 17 July, prosecutors said.

They were “motivated by hostilities” towards asylum seekers being housed at the hotel after one was charged with two sexual assaults, Chelmsford Crown Court was told.

“Motivated by hostilities” means The Elites know their time is short and are scared shitless.

‘No more losing,’ Poilievre tells Carney in scathing letter ahead of PM’s face-to-face with Trump

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has penned a scathing letter to the prime minister ahead of his meeting with the U.S. president this week, saying Mark Carney has been a disappointment on the trade file and needs to come back from this trip with some wins for Canada.

In the letter, which was shared with CBC News, Poilievre said Carney promised to “negotiate a win” for Canada and deliver some tariff relief this summer, but that didn’t work out as planned.
