Conservative MPs line up to show support for Poilievre, after days of backlash over RCMP comments

OTTAWA — After days of backlash over Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s comments on the RCMP, a string of his MPs lined up in support of the leader on Wednesday and pushed back against the controversy itself.

Usually quiet as they enter their weekly caucus meeting, a handful of Conservative MPs stopped to voice their support for Poilievre as well as the national force itself, whose leadership the Conservative leader called “despicable” in an interview aired last week, which he later clarified to say he was speaking about its past commissioner.

Taxpayer-Funded Schools Can’t Prohibit Prayer And Promote Witchcraft

When a public high school in Orange County, Florida, aired a weekly “Witchy Wednesday” religious video series on the schoolwide TV system, led by students and featuring detailed instructions on casting spells and performing rituals, including soul cleansing and moon worship, many parents were stunned.

The school canceled the series after public outcry and intervention from Liberty Counsel, in which the legal group asked for equal time for Christian instruction. But the larger question remains: Why would a public school introduce spiritual practices rooted in witchcraft to impressionable young students, and what does this reveal about the direction of public education?

Wrong, wrong, wrong! The Economist’s deluded demand to legalise cocaine

THE Economist, magazine of choice for the globalising liberal elite, has this week called for the legalising of cocaine. That’s right. Its leading article asserted: ‘The most effective single way to reduce the death, violence and corruption would be to legalise and regulate the production and consumption of cocaine. This would eliminate the price premium that motivates the world’s most violent criminals. Consumers could be sure of dosage and quality – an incentive to shun dangerous illegal concoctions. Prisons would be emptier and the criminal justice system could focus on deadlier synthetics.’

The Fall of a Black Lives Matter ‘Thugologist’

When the Feds finally raided Cedric Dean’s mansion, out front were the words “Thug Mansion” and “Black Lives Matter”.

Inside the homes of the expert ‘Thugologist’ in North Carolina were the fruits of his hard work from allegedly defrauding Medicaid of millions and some ruder types speculate that the author of ‘How To Stop Your Children From Going To Prison’ may soon need a new chapter.

The Irish establishment is fuelling the rage on the streets

Last night, the BBC told one of the grossest lies of omission I have ever seen in the mainstream media. It published a report about the disturbances outside a migrant hotel in County Dublin and nowhere did it mention what triggered the riotous behaviour. Three hundred and eighty-seven words pumped into the gadgets of the masses, every one of them devoted to damning the ‘thuggery’ of those who assembled at the hotel. Not one of the words – not one – addressed the thing that angered them.

GOLDBERG: The Liberals want an election — but they won’t get one

The Grits are gunning for an election.

With the NDP leaderless, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre still facing a leadership review, and the Green Party having yet to identify Elizabeth May’s long-lost replacement, Prime Minister Mark Carney wants to jump the shark and get his majority before the tsunami of bad economic news gets even worse.

Don’t take my word for it. Just listen to what Government House Leader Steven MacKinnon is saying.

The inconvenient truth about the No Kings protests that swept the nation

An inconvenient truth has emerged about the anti-Trump No Kings protests that swept the nation over the weekend – they were mainly attended by rich, old white people.

That demographic is traditionally associated with conservative politics, but it is increasingly synonymous – which some may argue is because of Joe Biden – with the Democratic Party.

In Atlanta, where the population is predominantly black, liberal attendees who took to the streets on Saturday were mostly white, even though they make up just 38 percent of the city.

Immigration Is a False Solution to Europe’s Economic Stagnation

It has become one of the most often repeated mantras of our late Soviet age of European—or, rather, of EU—history: “We need immigration.” A continent with too few births and too much debt is told time and again by its political class that it will survive only by importing millions of new workers from the Third World. The idea is repeated by politicians, quantified by economists, and echoed by journalists. But decades of mass migration have left Europe poorer in relative terms than it has been since, at least, the 15th century. Europeans have been fed a lie.

Vancouver nonsense Indian name street sign gibberish

Carney says Canada should prepare for ‘sacrifices’ … blah blah blah as he outlines plan for budget

Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canadians should be ready for some “challenges” and “sacrifices” in a speech outlining some of his government’s priorities for the upcoming federal budget.

Carney touted that his government is preparing to “build a stronger economy” against the backdrop of “a more dynamic, a more competitive, a more hostile world.”

“If we don’t act now, the pressures will only grow,” he said in an address to university students in Ottawa on Wednesday night.

France Was Once a Prosperous, Wealthy, and Safe Place

I have a friend who has a foolproof trick for when he wants to do something forbidden: “act completely normal.” Using this system, he’s crashed other people’s weddings to eat the appetizers, sneaked into concerts without tickets, and gotten me into a few troubles, because I, unlike him, am incapable of acting normal while doing something abnormal.

Some Conservative MPs doubt Poilievre’s leadership after podcast remarks about RCMP

After Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre blasted RCMP leadership on a podcast, some party members are questioning whether they will continue supporting him.

Five Conservative caucus members who spoke to Radio-Canada said Poilievre has not changed his message enough since the last election campaign and is not projecting an image befitting a prime minister.

Radio-Canada is not naming the sources so they can speak freely about internal party matters.

Ottawa Does Not Have Estimate on Number of Illegal Migrants: Immigration Department

Canada’s immigration department does not collect information on how many migrants are in the country illegally, Deputy Immigration Minister Harpreet Kochhar says.

“We do count through Stats Canada, the census, but we would not have any estimation of those who do not have a particular status in Canada,” Kochhar testified at the House of Commons Immigration Committee on Oct. 21, as first reported by Blacklock’s Reporter.
