… After a country-wide search and countless auditions, it was difficult to choose just one host. For Cullis-Suzuki, it was “a huge, huge shock” to learn she would be co-hosting the show her father has helmed since before she was born.
They tossed in a token co-host to please the DEI/BLM gods and waste even more tax dollars.

Doug Ford’s Progressive Conservative government is funding an all-ages Christmas-themed drag show to be held in Kitchener Thursday evening.
The Jingle Bell Rock event featuring Miss Drew and Crew, a group of three drag queen performers, will be held at Bingeman’s amusement theme park in Kitchener, Ontario, and the flyer for the event shows that funding was provided by the Government of Ontario.
Why do we have to pay and pay and pay for this garbage?
I think a new regime has to be developed that limits public spending to matters of health & security.
Subsidizing Doug Ford’s bizarre sexual fetishes will not be on the list.

Authorities investigating the slayings of four University of Idaho students walked back a key detail in the grisly case — revealing Wednesday that detectives actually aren’t sure if the quadruple homicide was a targeted attack.
The stunning revelation came after local police told the public from early on in their investigation that they believe a killer or killers targeted the victims in the brutal knife attack last month at an off campus house in the college city of Moscow.

“Often we cannot do anything.”
That was the assessment given to a House of Commons committee earlier this month by Canada’s deputy commissioner of elections, referring to 23 files their office received about potential foreign interference in the country’s two most recent elections.

Scientists have revived a number of “zombie viruses” which have been trapped in Siberian permafrost for thousands of years – including one which is nearly 50,000 years old.
The 13 new viruses were identified by scientists who looked at samples of permafrost collected from the Russian province.

Police in San Francisco will be allowed to kill suspects using remote controlled robots, in a landmark ruling which campaign groups say sets a dangerous precedent.
The Golden Gate city will become the first in America to legally authorise the use of robots to administer deadly force after an emotionally charged debate and vote by city supervisors.
The San Francisco Police Department said it does not have pre-armed robots and has no plans to arm robots with guns, but could deploy remote controlled machines equipped with explosive charges “to contact, incapacitate, or disorient violent, armed, or dangerous suspect” when lives are at stake, according to spokesperson Allison Maxie.
A Cambridge academic reckons the son of God had a ‘transgender body’.
Joshua Heath is a junior research fellow at the country’s leading bullshit factory, formerly known as Cambridge University. And one of the fellows he has been researching is Jesus, formerly the country’s divinity of choice and the son of God. Last Sunday during evensong, Heath delivered a sermon at Trinity College chapel, into which he slipped some of his research findings – that artistic depictions of the side wound delivered to Jesus by a Roman soldier look a bit like a vagina. He also suggested that paintings showing Jesus’s penis ‘urge a welcoming rather than hostile response towards the raised voices of trans people’.

Documentarian Ken Burns took his book tour to PBS’s Amanpour and Company on Tuesday where he hysterically warned that “authoritarianism” and “nationalism” are on the rise in America putting everything from elections to the independent judiciary in trouble. With analysis such as that, it should not be surprising Burns was both short on facts and hypocritical when making his assessment.

An “anti-fascist” board game that encourages leftist activists to throw excrement at their foes has been pulled from the shelves of one of France’s biggest retail chains. “Antifa, the game” had been on sale at Fnac retail stores for the past month after all 4,000 of an earlier version sold out online. A far cry from Monopoly, makers insist it’s a fun way of training future Leftist activists on how to “counter far-Right acts of violence” by putting up “an equally strong or stronger resistance”.

As fallout from Donald Trump’s meeting with the white supremacist Nick Fuentes continues, a far-right activist has claimed the meeting was a set-up, meant to “make Trump’s life miserable”.
NBC News reported that in an attempt to “send a message” to the former president, Milo Yiannopoulos, a rightwing provocateur and former Breitbart editor, helped arrange for Fuentes to travel to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for a dinner between Trump and the rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
Trump dined with Fuentes and Ye at his resort on 22 November. Since the meeting, Trump has been criticized by senior Republicans and by conservative Jewish leaders.
‘No evidence at the time’ of foreign interference in 2019 federal election, Lucki says

RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki says the Mounties did not have any evidence of foreign interference during the 2019 federal election and were not investigating any criminal activities related to that election.
But in a letter to the clerk of the Commons standing committee on procedure and House affairs — first reported on by the Globe and Mail and obtained by CBC News — Lucki acknowledged that the Mounties are currently investigating foreign interference activities in Canada. She declined to hand over redacted documents on those investigations to the committee.
